Ping Ti SI Drivers

Ping Ti SI Drivers

DESCRIPTION

From Ping: At 323cc the TiSI is the largest, totally custom-fit titanium driver available today. More importantly (for most golfers), it's also one of the longest-hitting drivers on the market.

I bought this stick with a Proforce 75 X-flex shaft already installed. This driver is DEEP with the Proforce shaft! I hit one with the Ping stiff factory shaft but with the lower kickpoint the ball went sky high. Match the shaft to your swing and this club will perform. It sets up very squarely and beautifully to the ball. Only complaint is the backweight which fell out in the middle of a round. Ping replaced it for free though. They did away with the backweight in the TISI Tec and redistributed the weight throughout the club (I believe). The only way to hit an awful shot with this club is to make an awful swing. A mediocre or good swing will be rewarded!

Customer Service

10-14 days for replacement of the backweight but the CS reps were helpful.

This driver is awesome. I compare it to that big Red Wiffle Ball bat that you in wiffle ball games as a kid. Before this club I used a Titleist Titanium Pro 975j and was all over the place. Now it goes straight as an arrow.

I have had the Ping for about a year. It has been nothing but amazing. It is the most consistent and longest driver i have ever hit. I recommend it to everyone. Plus it sounds really cool. Great driver!!!!!!

Wow. This club transformed my game. I used to drive between 230-250. Now Im around 260+ with an increse in accuracy. Took about 4 rounds plus some driving range work to really get it down. But now that I do I am shooting at least 5 stokes less a round.

Best driver I have ever hit. Long and straight. Sounds great as ball explodes off the club face.

One of the worst drivers ive ever hit. I used shot tape to tell me where i was hitting it, i was hitting it right in the center, and i shoot right around par so i know my swing. This club had an extremely strange weighting problem, it just didnt feel right at all. Mis-hits felt the same as sweet spot hits, the distance was average, for $450 bucks this thing should have been great, instead i got an average driver, not to mention THE ugliest driver on the market. Sold mine after a month and a half and went back to playing my 975D, i just cant find anything thats come out that works better than that driver.

Customer Service

Would have soon needed head replacement, and shaft replacement after breaking it across my knee.

I''m one of those golfers that manufacturer''s love. I buy everything that''s hot, hit a few bad shots with it and then blame the club. NEXT!! I bought the Ping TiSi after a particularly bad round of driving and I might add, after a few beers to drown my sorrows. (thus, the memmory failure on what I paid for it). Alas, a driver that I can smack with confidence and minimal ball loss. Yes, I still wack a few into nature''s catch basin, however, accruacy and distance are both much improved with this drivcr, and what a great sound off the club face. I''ve tried all the new drivers that have come out since, however, none have put my Ping in jeopardy of losing its spot in my bag. The rest of those damn clubs better not fail me. Their replacement is only a credit card swipe away.

I think I may just be a bad golfer but I cant hit this club for the life of me. I hit it far but it has the most wicked slice. It is supposed to be draw enhancing. I can hit my Taylor made driver pretty consitent but I cant with this club. Im going to work with it a little more then go back to what was working.

My ping ISI is 8.5 degrees of loft and I absolutely love it. I have had my driver for around a year now. I recently added a Proforce 65 shaft to it and the feel is amazing. I love the club. It''s atleast 10+ yards longer then my Cobra and alot more forgiving. The only thing that i can think is wrong with this club is the like of weight in the clubhead. I like a club that weighs a little bit. That is mostly the reason for adding the shaft.

Customer Service

Got the driver back after 2 weeks from Ping when they added the shaft. They kept my head cover though. That kinda pissed me off.

Model Reviewed: Ping TiSi 10 degree

I''''ve played the 10 LUD TiSi for 2 years. It''''s a good driver, not a great driver, then again driving isn''''t easy, is it. I used to play a callaway Hookeye 8 degree, which is very long if you are really good - put S grafaloy on it and ruined the club, sold it to some sucker with a slice - you probably aren''''t good enough for that spec, so don''''t go there. Slices are less with the hookeye, A.K.A. Hawkeye for the impaired. You''''re glasses are OK! Some guys tried my Ping club on the course and range and 70% cannot hit it at all - Key here: Duffers with a huge slice, really slice and push the LUD 10 degree Ping and need the RUH or retirement. Buy the RUS or RSS and you''''ll need 3 fairways and seeing eye dog. Better players do better as expected - though they immediately feel superior like a 14 year-old who finally got it right for 1 out of 18 holes! I''''m in between a good duffer and a decent driver of the ball and I have issues with the club as expected if you have duffer tendencies, as most do. I hit too many push/slices to be consistent and I hook some. The Ping can hit huge pushes with a slice. I hit some really nice and long for an 80''''s golfer. Of course nothing like you 320+ experts that I''''m yet to see on the course, though there are a few who hit 300+ - but the bush without a chainsaw is really just the bush. I outdrive 99% out there, yet their kid always hits it 300+ - no roll. Yeah right, I''''ve played with smart ass kids that hit it 170 with mommas driver. My seven iron! For those with an attention span, I''''m going to try the 975J 8.5 with an R-flex Grafaloy due to the bore-tru hosel making the shaft an R+ or S-, I''''ll try before I buy because I''''m smarted now. I''''ll also try the the 9.5 Cleveland Launcher 1 degree closed with stiff shaft and the 8.5 square face if they produce it for lefty and finish the lefty corner. I tried TM300, 320, 360 and thought about the 320 until I took it on the course and hookeyed it into the bush on 3 holes. Ping is better than that. 300 you better be good. 360 you better be bad. The moral of this story: A)Ping is better than the TM series. 320 is the best of TM. TM320 irons are truly the best ever irons and ping irons suck. B)Ping has to be tested against Titliest and Cleveland. C)Find the right driver and be yourself.

Customer Service

Who cares - they are good for 300-400 bucks. Hookers are too.
