Ping Ti SI Drivers

DESCRIPTION

From Ping: At 323cc the TiSI is the largest, totally custom-fit titanium driver available today. More importantly (for most golfers), it's also one of the longest-hitting drivers on the market.

I bought this driver 2 years ago and I am extremely happy with it. I got the 8.5 degree model with a stiff shaft and standard lie. The flight is quite high but it still gets a fair bit of roll and you will definately notice the difference if you''re currently using something like a standard big bertha( as i was previously). The best thing about this driver, is the fact that if you catch it slightly on the toe it comes off with a nice draw. Guess this is due to the huge sweet spot. I also find it fairly easy to shape either way and if necessary fire it low into the wind it is even possible to hit it off the deck. If you have the cash I would definately give it a try and don''t be put off by the head size you get used to it in no-time.

I have been searching for a driver for the past year and a half. I have finally found that club. This club is easy to shape left to right or right to left even with the low loft. I have the UST Proforce 65 in the regular flex and even not being a long hitter, consistently get it out to the 240-250 range with an occasional 260-270 range. It is not quite as long as the Taylor Made (almost), but it is much more accurate. I have the RSS hosel configuration and recommend it to anyone not fighting a hook or slice.

I started playin after a 20 year layoff and was shooting around a hundred and was unable to do anything but slice my woods until I bought this club. It has 10.5 loft and is 2 degree up and 2 degree closed hozel and it cured my slice and has maid driver my favorite club. I usually hit a drive or three over 300 yds. every round and until I found this club 260 was big.Its not that this club is that much more powerful, its that Im'' totally confident that I can hit it, the face is that big and the correction that noticable.

Customer Service

I''v had no problems but its the only club I know of that you can buy with differenlie angles and face angles.

I have owned literally hundreds of drivers in my lifetime and this one is the most consistently usable club ever. You have to trust the closed face and just pull the trigger. Long, straight with sometimes a slight draw, sounds powerful. I have the 8.5* rss with the 350 series stiff shaft and it,s in the bag to stay.

Customer Service

Excellent as I am a Ping guy (irons, putters, wedges, etc.)

Best driver on the market, bar none. I have hit the rest; taylor made, titleist, callaway, you name it. The ball flight of the Ping is piercing. No balloon effect like some of the others. I have the EI-70 X-stiff shaft and it feels really solid. I love this driver and hit it long.

Customer Service

They repainted my clubhead for free.

Best driver I''ve ever hit and I''ve hit most of them. Great distance, feel, looks and all-around performance. 20 yards longer than anything Titleist or Callaway has on the market. Never cared much for Ping irons, but Karsten scores with this baby. I have a Graffaloy ProLite 35 with a stiff shaft from the Ping War Room (WRX). This is a weapon like no other. I''m not an especially longer hitter, but thanks to the TiSI, I''m out there with the best of them, in the middle of the fairway. The Titleist 975J is most overrated big stick out there. Callys are OK, but can''t come close to overall performance of the Ping TiSI. This cannon will stay in my bag, to be replaced perhaps someday when I can afford the Ping TEC. But why argue with success

Customer Service

Used on occasion. First rate.

this club was excellent when i first purchased it Went very long and staight as anything. I was playing off 16 within 3 months i dropped to 8. This club is very good for game improvement, its very forgiving and has the best sound in golf (the earpiercing sound turns heads). now im stuggling with as it has become inconsistant and hard to control and the weighting feels strange. suitable for mid to high handicappers. im 17 and using titleist 990 irons (very good) thinking of changing to titleist driver for consistency

Best driver I have hit. Not the longest but close. What I gave up in length got me better accuracy. Took 2 rounds and a little range time to get used to club. Will be staying in my bag for quite some time. Used to play a GBB 8* with Proforce 65s.

Model Reviewed: Tisi 10 degree LUD

I''ve been using the Tisi 10 degree LUD Stiff factory adila for 2 years and starting the 3rd year. Took it out today in Ottawa with a bad feeling because I hadn''t hit a ball since September 2001. Well, I hit every drive 260-280, except 2 duffs where I followed a crap magazine article, at 12 celius with a slight tail wind. Straight for most shots and to the fence at 280 yards away. I now understand why I will never sell this driver. I may buy a second driver, but I refuse to sell my Ping Tisi to anyone for a measily 300 - drop dead! Sorry!

Customer Service

The Ping Rep in Ottawa is great! Chuck Brown Golf is great too. Chris is the best new Manager. Good guy - smart. Know''s golf.

Model Reviewed: 10 degree tsi with r bimatrx

just got this club reshafted with the bimatrx rxi and fitted with a 1 degree closed face. this is the most amazing thing i have ever hit. the shaft plays about one flex stiffer than other shafts so set the ego aside and go down a flex. this probably explains the moaning about it feeling ''''boardy''''. i disagree with that. the strong tip seems to have enough meat to handle thelarger head in terms of torque and off centre hits. the biggest complaint with the oem shaft in the tisi was the whippy feel and abnormally high ball flight. the bimatrx fixed that in a hurry. don''''t be foolish and buy this club off the rack, that is not what makes this club a performer. the fitting is intergral to finding th right shaft which is the key to good golf. ping understands that and make a great head to boot. the oem shaft is junk, second only to callaway''''s shaft in terms of the crap factor. if putting were this easy...
