TiSi Driver (stiff) 350 shaft
I have been playing this club for fifteen months now and I am still very happy with this club. I can step up to the first tee in morning with confidence and hit a long straight drive most every time. That is something I didn''t have with previous drivers. As stated in previous reviews "get fitted", you will be much happier in the end and have a club that enhances the good facets of your swing and not the bad ones. I have seen the club selling for 275 new in several places. An awesome buy in a $400-$500 world. Customer Service Go to any authorized Ping dealer and get there advice. You wont be sorry. Ping TISI TEC
ALthough I love Driving with this club I am very unhappy with the quality. When it is in one piece it hits longer and strighter than any driver I have tried. Very forgiving, looks good, great carry, even mis-hits get good distance. Have not lost a ball in the 8 rounds I ahve used the club. The PROBLEM is that the weight int he rear center of the club keeps falling out. The frist time (after 3 rounds) I noticed it was gone and the club sounded odd when I hit a drive. So I contacted the golf shop I bought it from and Ping shipped out a new one. ON problem there. Well off to the course for my second round with the new club and the weight fell out again. I assum PING will replece the club yet again but at this point I am going to try to return it. Great club if it stays in one piece. BUT when you have to return it every 3-5 rounds I say do not wast your time. Customer Service So far PING has been good about shipping me a new club have to wait till next week to see if they will take this one back. Ping TISI 8.5* with BiMatrx (S) RUD
This is simply the best driver that I have hit and I love this shaft. The ball goes just as long or longer than any other driver I have hit. The difference is that this club is super forgiving and straight. It is imperative that you get fit for it, though. There are so many different options with loft, shaft angle, face angle (closed or open) and shafts that it could be very easy to get a club that doesn''t work for you. I think this is the case with almost every negative review you read that deals with fades turning to slices, having to swing easy, etc. I am very aggressive swinger with fade and this set up works perfect for me. The shaft works well for me no matter how much I try to hammer it. The only thing that I have noted is that even the 8.5* gets the ball up too high for me. Conclusion: A great driver - just make sure that you get fitted. Customer Service Haven''t had to deal with them. Pair this club with the true temper bi-matrix shaft and walk to the center of the fairway to take your next shot. Get fitted and enjoy taking money from your playing partners. Customer Service Excellent. The back weight dislodged and was lost. I mailed the club to Ping for repair. It was returned to me repaired with a new grip, free Ping ball repair tool at no charge in about one week. I wa Similar Products Used: Taylor Made 320, Titleist 975, Callaway VFT. |

I have been playing an 8.5 RSD with a stock stiff shaft for about a year. Sent in to PING WRX and had it reshafted with a UST ProForce 75 Stiff. What a difference, lower flight, more stable at impact, and about 15 yrds longer on average (and I ain''t short). It was worth the $100 and wait. Customer Service PING WRX is great. And they offer every decent shaft you can ask for. |

Wow What a club! I have been a dedicated Callaway guy since I took up this crazy game two years ago. I thought the VFT was as good a driver as you could get and it is in fact a fine club. But I read a few reviews on the new Ping TiSi tec and also noted how many long drive competitors were using this behemoth so I decided to grab one and give it a try. Thus far after just two week of playing this club I''ve beaten every one of my previous best drives on each of the par 5''s or long 4''s at my local course! Very often around 300 without jumping out of my shoes.... an incrediable club. Sorry Ely, but this Ping is long and forgiving even the minor mis-hits are decent distance. Only problem is that my golfing buddies won''t take any long drive side bets anymore. But those par 4''s are sure alot easier to hit with a wedge than a 7 iron. Do yourself a favor and buy this club!!! Customer Service No Problems yet. Similar Products Used: Callaway Great Big, ERC II, VFT, Taylormade 320, Bazooka 320J |

I Swaped my Taylomade 360Ti three months ago. The Ping took a little bit of adjusting to hit it consistant. The 350 series shaft I couldent hit with, I needed a higher kick point and more torque. This driver likes to be hit!, when you lay back a bit it can end up putting you in trouble, so have a go!. I have no trouble working the ball both ways and when you strike the ball in the sweet spot hitting from the front foot, it goes longer than anything I have hit before especially into the wind. It has a penatrating ball flight and I prefer the deeper face than the Taylormade. All in all I would recommend this driver to everyone as anyone can hit it. I strongly recommend the Wrx factory as you can get exactly what you want and I think it is worth the extra cash. Customer Service Ordered it from New Zealand and the Wrx factory in the U.S had it in my hands in two weeks. Outstanding service! None I had been using a Biggest Big Bertha with the Graffaloy ProLite35 shaft for about 3years. I would hit others, but nothing could touch this combo for me in "Total" performance-ie-consistent play, distance. I had hit the Ping with the stock Aldila shaft and was mildly impressed. But it was way too pricey with the stock shaft, much less the a custom one. I put the Ping in the back of my mind until now. The prices have stabilized, and I went back to try it again. I ended up with an 8.5*, RSS, with the Fujikura VistaPro 80 in Stiff. Perfect combo for me. I am carrying the ball 8-10 yards farther, and getting additional roll over the BBB. The Ping is more forgiving, with minimal loss of distance on mis-hits. I was so taken with this club I went ahead and got the Ti 3 wood also. I wasn''t going to trade in my Callaway''s (BBB, and 3+ GBB) just for the sake of something "different"-- I work too hard for my money. The Ping''s clearly outperformed my set, and everything else I hit. Get fitted, hit it, and golf HAPPY :) Customer Service Edwin Watts staff is excellent. None I started the season on 9.9 h''cap and had never been into singles figures. I bought the TISI driver early season and straight away I was gaining 15-20 yards sometimes more. The result of this was I was able to hit shorter irons into greens. I finished the season at 7.9. The club is the most forgiving I have ever had the pleasure to hit. I gave a few of my friends a shot and some of them went out and purchased one, something that canny us Scots won''t do unless the product is perfect. Customer Service Anytime I have phoned for brochures they have been sent promptly. I have never had to send any of my Ping clubs back for repair.
