I recently cracked my old Callaway Steelhead Plus, which I hit very low with a lot of run. I have was looking for the right driver for me after I had bought different ones with out hitting them. I demoed the VFT, 975's, and the cobra ss 350, all 10* or 10.5*, to help get my ball flight up. Desperate to try something I picked up the used ping and hit it. Honestly, I am not saying this to load you up with false information. My first swing was 200 in the air and and maybe 215-220 overall. After a few balls getting used to the club head, I flew one 250 and ened it around 260-265. This is the longest club I have ever hit. I also vrought my ball flight up from low liner to high long fliers with good roll. I recommend this club to anyone looking to raise ball flight and increade distance>

I am a pretty new golfer, only been playing for 5 years. After having only had the use of my cheap set of discount clubs, my driver was terrible. I couldn't hit it consistent if my life depended on it. I demoed various drivers from a store for the day which included the Nike 400cc, 350cc, Taylor Made 360, 340, and the Ping TiSI. After hitting all drivers, the ping was the one which set up the nicest in my stance and also was wieghted great throughout the swing. The club is forgiving no matter where you hit it, and out of say 20 balls hit, I think I only hit one ball that hooked slightly. Such an amazing club, that I went out and bought it. Great!

I had this driver for a year now and it is one fine tool for splitting fairways. I hit it long and straight. Compared it to my Nike 350 cc forged, GBB ti which had an identical Grafalloy prolite shaft.,Warbird, Burner, 976J. and I always seem to come back to the TISI! Prolite Stiff with RUD hosel. I sent it to WRX to get it reshafted and they reshafted it with a R but is said S on the shaft. I guess they did not check it for stiffness and I just ended up getting it reshafted by the local range clubfitter. Poor quality control from the WRX factory! I am happy with the driver now and get consistenly long and straight drives. I'm looking at the new Tec ISI but I don't want to fix something that is not broken. I am quite happy with the driver overall. You can find em used but get fitted for it first, Hit em straight and seldom :)

Customer Service

So-so service from the WRX reshafting.

I love this driver. I was hitting a 975D before I got this and was frustrated by its lack of forgiveness. Honestly, I hated that club. A buddy of mine who is a scratch golfer suggested I buy the Ping. So I did and was instantly rewarded. This club is long and straight. The look at address is very comforting and I love the feel of it during the swing. It really is great. My longest drives seem to come from shots a bit high of center on the face, so I tee it a bit higher and let it fly. I'm a regular at the golf shop and am always trying new drivers, but this is still the best after two years. I bought a Taylor Made 320 a while back after a great session at the store's range with it but was really disappointed on the course. I just didn't feel comfortable with it and was therefore spraying it all over the place. I think I took about 7 penalty strokes. Needless to say, that was the only round it saw.... Back to old faithful.... lol

Purchased the Ping TiSi 10.5 stiff stock shaft in Dec 2000. Played with a somtimes unpredicatable fade on the ball fo about a year and then decided to do something. I have a fairly high swing speed (100-105 mph) and thought I felt the club head torquing in mid-swing. I sent the club off to Ping to get the stiff UST ProForce low-torque shaft put in and I haven't looked back since. The distance is tremendous (270-280 yards) and the ball flight is perfect (It is much more controllable and shaping my shot is much easier). I would recommend to anyone to get this shaft put in instead of the stock shaft. The control and feel of the clubhead is perfect. Much better club than the Launcher and way better control with the new shaft

I never intended to try this club. At a tournament recently, I was hitting balls at the driving range with my Cobra. The driving range there has a net about 10 yards past the 200 yard marker. The net is about 20-25 feet high and prevents the range balls from going into the woods behind the net. I noticed a bunch of demo clubs there and decided to hit a few, wasn't impressed with the Titleist and Callaway offerings. The Taylor Made was pretty good though. Then I tried the TiSI Tec and hit it over the net. I figured it was a fluke and tried another ball. Same result. After 5 dead straight drives over the net, I tried my Cobra again and could only fly it to the lower half of the net. My friend Ron, who was at the next station could not believe what I was doing. He tried the club too and was able to do the same thing. The Ping basically swings itself. It is superbly balanced and the head gives you a lot of confidence. It allows you to swing freely and the results are absolutely amazing. You have to try this club if you're in the market for a driver.

Great club- long and straight. Get the club fitted properly and you will be rewarded. The parallel top and leading edge help with alignment. Even though I play with a 8.5 degree you can still see plenty of loft on the face which helps my confidence. This club and the 300 series Taylor mades have the most fantastic swing feel. I've used this driver for 3 years- easily the best I have ever used.

I work at a huge golf shop and have hit them all, (launcher,vft,nike,975j,300,320,360... but nothing was working, I knew a had a chance to hit the long ball because, I used to hit 300+ with a cheap knight yellow jacket, but it exploded, and they stoped making them. But I would have payed anything for a driver that felt right. I came close to buying a launcher 9.5 w/ an x-flex shaft, because I hit a few huge ones with it, but I could not load the shaft every time, and the stiff shaft felt a little wippy. so anyway I'm 6'2" and my normal ball flight is a high fade. One day I looked in the used bucket at work and saw this ping ti si w/ an x-flex stock shaft, 10deg. loft. so I hit a few with it. man I was hitting very well, One of my co-workers told me that the RUS on the hosel meant it was 2 deg. upright. and thats what my irons are as well. so after hitting everything under the sun, it was all about fitting the the club to the dude. boom, I can hit tinkle out of it, draw, fade, high, low, off the deck whatever. so I quess the best thing about the ping is the fitting options, and the face is pretty darn hot too!

I have been struggling with the driver for over a year, and I have tried numerous drivers including the Callaways, Titleist, Taylomades, and others. I have always had trouble with the big headed drivers going right. I believe the shaft is the most important thing you should look at when choosing a driver. If the motor doesn't work the car won't move. Get a shaft fit for your swing. In my case I finally found a match with the Ping TISI 10 degree with the Grafalloy Elite regular shaft. I have a swing speed of 95+ and drive the ball about 250. With the hosel of RXH which is an upright hook hosel I get the results of a slight draw and not the high right shot of other drivers. I can count on the same pattern time after time, and I do not have to guess where the ball is going. I just line up for the draw and trust the swing. I would recommend trying this driver if you have similiar problems. It could have safed me $$$$$ if I had tried it earlier. Thanks PING...
