Ping Ti SI Drivers

Ping Ti SI Drivers

DESCRIPTION

From Ping: At 323cc the TiSI is the largest, totally custom-fit titanium driver available today. More importantly (for most golfers), it's also one of the longest-hitting drivers on the market.

The ping driver is one of if not the longest driver on the market today and is one reason that I love it dearly. most shots that any amateur would want to hit are possible. The club head is large enough to hit and I do not feel overwhelmed looking down at the club. The Ping is great if you are looking for a club that will help you with your problem area if that is the driver it is a game enhancement club and can be played by the seasoned pro with no troubles. if you plan to get the club be sure to be custom fit and get a loft that is one below what you think that you need because of the trajectory of the shots that are hit and get a driver with a high kickpoint if you do not have trouble with a fade/slice. The Ping does not have the control of some of the other clubs which isn't great but, the flight path stays the same for me on almost every shot which has not made this an issue This club is the best driver I have found and I continue looking for the best, but until I do this is the closest to perfection I will get and I will keep it in my bag for a long time.

This driver is long and strait wether it is off the fairway or the off the tee. It is also vrey consistant for me, and my ball flight stays the same nearly every time. GREAT DRIVER!!!

Stock shaft was a Ping reg. flex and seemed whippy. Replaced with the Bimatrix Rocket stiff and ball flies when hit flush. Miss hits stink, and the distance is not what I expected.

Hit this opposite the Callaway VFT. Both are equally long, and they ARE long. Ping hits 1.5 degree higher than posted (for example, the 8.5 plays like a 10 degree). I think the VFT plays about at the advertised loft. Ping is more forgiving than VFT, and for that reason, I bought it. Haven't had it too long, but so far, it's providing the best combination of distance and forgiveness that I've found. Just be aware, it does have a high ball flight, at least it did for me. My model is upright/draw, and it definitely does help reduce slice spin. Not a miracle worker, but effective.

Customer Service

Very good. Best in the business, I believe, along with Callaway's.

I struggled with every conceivable driver there was looking for distance and accuracy. Well, this 8.5* baby outfitted with the UST ProForce stiff shaft is absolutely incredible. I not only found the distance and accuracy I craved, I got forgiveness also. I'll keep pounding this thing until it eventually breaks and they give me a new one. I just bought a 3 wood off ebay and am having Ping reshaft it for me. There is no doubt how I will like the new club.

Customer Service

The one guy I dealt with was a bit snotty but answered my questions adequately.

Personally I think high handicappers like me may find it difficult to consistently hit the sweet spot. But when I do, this club is amazingly long - the carry is some 25 metres longer than my Hawkeye ! Feed-back is good; you immediately know if you didn't catch the sweet spot. Nevertheless mis-hits towards the toe are still forgiving, drawing gently back to the target and losing very little distance. Nice club if you get used to the light and very large head. As much as I love Pings (I use Eye2 irons), it is my opinion that the TiSi driver is less forgiving than the Callaway Hawkeye or BBB.

Customer Service

Great customer service over the Net. Local agent here is very helpful as well.

I jjust bought just driver because it had went on sale from 549 to 350. I really wasn't looking at the ping drivers because of the prices but once I seen that it was on sale I had to go for it. I bought the 8.5 degree RUD. At first wasn't hitting the ball solid at all, I guess it was because I had to get used to the big head size, I originally had the callaway steelhead, you can see what I mean by size difference. Anyway I bought the ping and right away I reshafted it with the proforce 65 stiff shaft. I choose this shaft because I already had one in me steelhead, so I figured I couldn't go wrong. After a couple of days hitting balls the magic started to show through, now their is not a par four that I can't reach in one, or par 5 I can't reach in two. This driver is the best thing I have hit in a long time, this makes my playing partners angry because I fly it by them in the ari every time, but that mean nothing I beat them every time anyway

Model Reviewed: Ping ISI Titanium 10* RSS Hosel

Awesome driver, I bought the club for 185 on ebay with a penley stealth 70 shaft(s-flex) when it arrived i noticed that there was a lot of glue around the hosel that was clearly visible, and was a little disappointed, because the pics didn't show the blemish. The blemish didn't last long because on the first hit with it the head popped off! Anyway I had a friend reglue it and now its fine. The RSS hosel isn't the best choice for a mid-handicapper because the ball tends to fade, so i would go with an rsd if u get the tec.

I bought this driver about 2 months ago and it is great! I have taken about 8 strokes off my handicap just by switching to this driver! I have found that the harder I swing with this driver the more accurate it seems to be. The only problem I have with it is the stock Aldila 350 shaft. I feel it torques too much at impact so i'm going to send it to Ping and have a new Harrison 2.5 Fl Lite shaft installed. Hopefully, after re-shafting, I will have nothing bad to say about this driver, it is awesome!

I really like the way this club sets up to the ball. Makes you fell like you can place your drive where you want. Hits the ball REALLY far.
