After Struggling with my Titleist 975J, I was desperate. A friend had just purchased the SI3 and had the TSI just sitting at home. He let me hit it a few times and I loved it right off the bat. BOOM 275 BOOM 285. I was rocking the ball. The set up is nice. The head is big as a watermelon, but light, providing for monstrous swing speed. I spent buckets of cash on the "next big thing" drivers. But for my money if you are not playing the TSI, you are cheating yourself. Customer Service Have not had to deal with them. My favorite driver since it was released a few years ago; no matter what your swing speed, I promise this will increase your average yardage and probably give you more accuracy as well. Before buying this club I hit around 240 or 250 average off the tee, and after changing and getting used to this club, I now smash balls consistently around 280...and if I'm playing a downhill hole with a quick fairway, oh baby! It may roll well beyond 300 (I always seem to significantly out-drive others in my playing group). Granted, when I got this club I was probably 16, and now I'm 18, so not only has my golf skill increased but my strength has as well--but I've hit many different drivers, and this is my favorite. Currently I'm looking to replace this club with either the new Titleist 983K, E, or one of the King Cobra SS 350 drivers. I remember when this club was first released it was the most massive thing around, but now it seems small in comparisson to some of the drivers from many other manufacturers. Anyway, I highly recommend giving this driver a demo, especially now that it has come down so much in price. It gives ample tee confidence, looks great, and most importantly, will crush drives father and straiter than most of the competition. It does take some getting used to, and seems only to cater to certain swing styles (none of my scratch golfer friends can hit it at all), but if you are patient there will be plenty of rewards. A fine club! Similar Products Used: Titleist, Taylor Made, Mizuno, Wilson, Ping, Callaway |

Because of my age (15) i have a very high swing speed, sometimes it gets into the 100s, which is fine if you can square the clubface, but with my old regular flex shaft, i couldnt, but i reshafted it with a Graphite Design YS-6 and i get great distance, my best drive was 290, but average is 260. this club is very forgiving and it sounds amazing when it "Pings" off the sweetspot, (i guess thats where the company got its name) and at address it doesnt look intimidating, infact, it inspires me to hit it well. but it is a very good driver, i recomend it to anyone, but i have had it for a while and i am looking for a new driver, and i hit the new Launcher 400 and i out drove my ping with that hoss. so i might be switching shortly. |

It's an excellent golf club, increased my drives by at least 30 metres. I had only had the club for one week before i entered in a Work Golf Tournament and I won the long drive hole with a tee off measuring 297 metres. It certainly cuts down your score if you can land tee offs on the green on par 4's. I'd actually quite like to have a longer shaft fitted. I think this is by far the best driver i have had and it outclasses anything on the market at the moment with its subtle design and shape. |

This is the best driver I have ever owned. The large head was a little difficult to get used to at first but the results are fantastic. Head feel is precise, I know when I have hit it well but when I hit it off-center I am not penalized as with some drivers. Not to mention, the sound is "strong". PING TiSI 8.5 Stiff
The longest driver I have ever hit! I have the LUD (left hand/upright/draw enhancing) model and when I hit it right on the sweet spot, it goes a mile. Average drive is about 275 yds. Accuracy is about 70% fairways hit. This is a great club to hit. Quite forgiving on mis-hits. I found that the easier you swing, the better the results. I have never had this much confidence with any driver before. It is worth the investment. With any PING driver, make sure you get fitted first to get the correct hosel configuration for your game. Ping TiSI 8.5* Stiff Grafalloy Pro
Long? true. Controllable? not. I got an RSD, so I thought at least I can keep my slice on the right side of the fairway. I was wrong. Most of the time, it's right rough or trees. I'm not giving up just yet because the length is so long and rewarding. I've been working on my swing at the range, figuring out how to hit this beast, I'm getting to like it more and more. Once I fixed my slice with this driver, my swing will be so good for all other clubs. My problem is I got used to the King Cobra driver with an offset. That thing is so easy to hit. The Ping clubface is the opposite. I've never seen a clubface that's so far ahead of the hosel as this one. If I slow down the swing a little bit to let the clubface square up, I get good result (with the sacrifice of some speed). All in all, it's an excellent driver if your swing is fundamentally good. I also like the huge sweetspot. Any ball hit in or around the center of the clubface gets the same distance, which makes it a lot of fun to hit. If you're looking for more distance on your drives, this is the club at such a cheap price compared to those new Callaway, TM, Titleist, etc.. ping tisi
The ping tisi driver is a blast to hit. On the course at the range there is nothing louder or longer then the tisi. I hit a high ball and own a 7, 8.5 and 10 degree models. The 7 is the longest but least accurate, the 8.5 can be hit aggressively but, the 10 is towering. High, long and hang time seems like forever. I have used both the stock aldila and fujikura shafts and if I am swinging smooth the stock shaft is excellent (stiff to x-stiff). While I agree the stock shafts have a lot of torque, torque can be your friend. You have to let it work for you. Fitting is critical, I have two rxh models and one ruh. The ruh is easier to work a draw or fade. the rxh is a draw only club. I have never sliced a tisi with the rxh or ruh hosels. The Tisi is the orignal grip it and rip driver. Customer Service the benchmark for the industry... only callaway may be more proactive but they need to be with those clubs. Similar Products Used: titleist, taylor made, callaway, you name it. |

I bought the TISI 10* and couldn't hit it straight to save my life. This club hooked, sliced and rarely went straight. I tried stance changes, swing changes, tee heights all with little success. On the rare occasion that I did hit it straight, it went a mile. I switched to a Hawkeye 8*, it goes straight and miss hits are still playable only not as long.
