Excellent club. Just took it to the range. Never hit a more accurate club in my life. Almost every hit was dead center and easily 240, some 270. Very easy to hit. I had some initial difficulty adjusting to the more shallow face desing and smaller head in general, but once I got it down, the club was just sweet. Seemed pretty forgiving too. Good feel and easy to control. Can't beat the deal either, I got mine for less than $150 on ebay. Customer Service Everyone says ping is great. Great Club!!! I hit this club in the net and I loved so I decided to order one, so Winchester golf called thier Leesburg store had a used one for $125. So I got it. I CRUSH it long and straight. I went from a 12* Supersteel to this Ping 9* so I hade to hit some range balls to get used to it. The day I got it my friend and I played against an assistant pro and my friend and I finished 2 over and the assis. pro finished even. I hit more greens than ever and we were playing from the blues. Longest so far 325 yards. I am only 16 and play for my High School team and this driver is just what i needed to take a 57* wedge into a 400 yard par four Customer Service Cant go wrong with ping, Great Service Similar Products Used: Taylormade Supersteel 12* |

I3 9 degree stiff steel
Demo'd all these clubs, liked this one the best. First time I teed up the ball it took off like a rocket. Penetrating flight, accurate, and decent distance. I liked the steel better than the graphite (stiff aldida); good performance but felt a bit mushy, especially if I took a big swing. Similar Products Used: Supersteel, steelhead, 975d |

My pro let me demo a 7 degree with s stock shaft, and I was amazed. I'll admit that I didn't think I would like it given the small head. It's the longest driver that I have played in a while. I hit a 9-iron into a 525 yard par-5 and hit a wedge into a 490 yard par-5. I would recommend a 9 degree with a UST Gold. Fun to hit with amazing length. Wow this driver is awsome. For the last few years I have been using a 3 wood off the Tee. I finaly decided to get a new driver and looked at this one. This driver has changed my game, every drive I hit is going 260+, and 280-300 with a perfect hit. At a recent tournament I won the long drive by atleast 10 yards. Ping I3 9* Steel Shaft
This Driver worried me at first because my original intention was to order it with a steel shaft online then reshaft it with a bi-matrix shaft! Then the reshafter told me it couldn't be done and i had the steel shaft shortened and i took it out on the range. I changed my mind whew i loved it with the steel shaft. It took me a few balls to find out how to hit and bla bla bla. But when i did figure it out whew did i hit it! This driver will do great for anyone who has trouble with mis-hits. Don't be fooled by the distance of the steel shaft compared to the graphite because i compared both and the graphite was not as straight and only about 5-10 yards further. I am 14 and this club is made for all levels. Have fun with it! Great Driver! Similar Products Used: Titleist 975D, Ping TiSi, and Callaway VFT |

I'm a big ping fan, but this driver is a joke. You get tons of roll but you have to because you get no carry out of it. It's fairly easy to hit but the distance you give up is unreal. I lost abut 30 yards changing form the Tisi. Similar Products Used: great big bertha |

Graphite Regular Shaft -11Deg
Excellent feel!! I do not like hitting a club that feels like an aluminum baseball bat or provides no feedback. . Can work the ball with terrific success. I have used the club on 3 different occassions and I am finding fairways easily and driving for improved distance 15-20 yards. Customer Service Very helpful. Similar Products Used: Callaway - Steelhead Graphite Shaft - Reg. 11 deg. I sold it on ebay. I found the shaft way to wippy and I have a regular speed swing. |

Ping i3 Driver
This driver is amazing. I am getting my straightest drives ever without sacrificing any significant length to the "bigger boys" with larger heads and longer shafts. Forgiveness is excellent. I hit my irons and fairway woods straight, but always seemed to fade with a driver. Ping was able to modify the lie angle and hosel configuration to compensate for my fade. I strongly recommend an outdoor fitting before purchasing ANY driver. I can now hit my driver with some level of confidence even to narrow landing areas. Obviously, some purists will point out that what I need to do is to change my swing to match the clubs generally available out there, but I want to play reasonably well recreationally, not make golf my life work. I appreciate the ability of PING to adapt to the needs of less than perfect golfers like myself. Similar Products Used: Adams SC, Taylormade 320i, Titleist 975d, Mizuno, Ping TiSi |
