I am skeptical about buying the latest thing and I only swap when the club provides a much greater result.

just traded my ping g5 back in on a ping g2.i have owned a lot of drivers and the ping g2 with the aldila nv reg flex matches my 105mph swing and i get 260-270 average drives and i have got up to 325 yards on a couple of holes that are down hill...lol!!!stay away from the pro launch shaft if you have a draw or you will be snap hooking.this ping g2 is the best driver on the market and the price is coming down...so go get you one and you will like it! Customer Service never had to use them yet Similar Products Used: ping g5,si380,t.m.200,320,360,580.r5.r7,cobra 460sz,billy 380,tit 975.983,nike 460,soquatch,launcher and a lot more that can't compete |

ping g2 driveer stiff shaft 8.5
the shaft keeps breaking and ping is not so kind on this they say I swing to hard hello you sold me the stiff shaft Customer Service Not happy I spend over a thousand on 3,5,woods and driver that is all g2 / 8.5 driver with a stiff flex .I go to the driving range and I hit the driver head twice but nothing happend I but two denets it yes. So I play over a half year and then the head come off now to me if it was because of me hitting it.It should come off a long time before this I played a lot of golf before the first time the shaft broke ..I never been back to a driving range after this last time .I live in the woods and the closest couses is Pemberton BC Canada or lilooet BC

This club is great! I have test many drivers and this was the best by far (atleast for me). I work at a golf course therefore I can try out almost ever driver out there and this was the one for me. This driver does not correct swings like some drivers. This is a club for better players (I would say for players with a handicap of 10 and lower atleast). This club has a very giving sweet spot but if u hit outside of the sweet spot your distance will be decreased greatly. If you are a 10 handicap player looking for more distance and a better ball flight this driver is for you. This club is the same as the G5 to tell you the truth. (the G5 is just a cover. its really a G2) Customer Service I have never dealt with their customer service. Similar Products Used: Taylor Made r7 460 and 425

I am 14 years old, weight 175 and i hit this thing 270-300 yards. Very easy to hit, makes you very comfortable standing over the ball. Long, accurate, firgiving. Excellent value! Customer Service Broke my shaft, they didn't replace it. I haven't heard much good about thier customer service from anyone else. Similar Products Used: An old callaway big bertah war bird. Ping G2 8.5 - NV Reg Flex
This is a great looking club and sets up very nicely to the ball. However, it is not nearly as forgiving on mis-hits as other drivers I've used (like the Taylormade 580xd or the r5 Dual drivers). When your swing is on and you catch it well, distance is comparable to the previously mentioned drivers. However, when you mis the sweetspot, this driver will punish you on distance. In all fairness, the ball holds its line, but you'll be a far way from home. Customer Service Not used. Similar Products Used: Taylormade 580xd, r5 Dual, Callaway GBB II |

I'm a hack, so please take that into account when reading this review. This driver is long and forgiving and has the most satisfying sound at contact. Much straighter and farther than anything I've owned before. Didn't know it could be this much better than my last club. Similar Products Used: Cleveland Launcher 400 8.5 w/nv65 stiff

I'm all but speechless. People were watching me at the driving range and I'd say over 90% of my shots were straight and 220 yards. The sound at impact is awesome. As I left someone asked to look at it and said "Don't let this out of your sight." It's AWESOME!!! Customer Service Incredible. I asked them to sell me a replacement insignia for a G2 9 iron that I scratched up and they sent me a replacement immediately at no charge! Ping G2 Driver
I purchased the G2 to replace a Ping Zing wooden head steel shaft. The G2 is more forgiving and obviously longer. I think that on bad mis-hits the G2 is further off line (deeper into the woods). I have only hit the G2 off the deck a couple of times, didn't turn out well. I didn't like the driver on my first trip to the course, see the customer service comments but now I am happy. The G2 series must be popular, I can't find the matching woods in my area. Customer Service My first trip to the course I was all over place. Our foursome kept telling me I had too much flex in the shaft. My second trip, still all over. On my third trip I found out why, the Head flew off on # 10. Customer service replaced the head (took 3 weeks)I guess the shaft my have been flexing cause it was broken in the tip. No muss no fuss, just 3 weeks in summer without my new driver. Similar Products Used: King Cobra 425, I loved it, but all clubs in my bag must match. |
