Nike SQ 460cc/ R Flex shaft/10.5 degree
I recently bought my SQ, so I have only been able to play with it about 3 times (5 including the range). I figured it would be a good club, but I didn't think I would really see the difference. I was wrong, the club was amazing. I hit the ball further than I ever had, on a consistant basis. I even had a couple 300 yard shots (I never considered myself a long ball hitter). It is quite a difference when I can shave 50 yards off an approach shot. That equates to lower scores. Besides the distance, my miss hits weren't too bad off either. When I get careless, I will slice way right. With this club, my careless shots only missed the fairway by about 10 yards at the most. I had so much fun using this club, that I would go to the driving range after my 9 or 18 holes, in order to get more hits in (not normal for me). I use a 10.5 degree loft, but I probably should of went with the 9.5, (some of my shots will balloon, but that is probably my fault). I also bought the R shaft, my swing speed was measured about 98 to 100. I was told with that speed I could go with either the Regular or Stiff flex. I probably should of went with the stiff as well, because my swing will get faster over a round of golf. Anyway, I recommend the club to any weekend hackers like myself. I can't speak for the better players however. I am not on their playing level. I usually will shoot low 90's. As for the headcover being hard to put on and take off, I bought an aftermarket headcover that works a lot easier. Customer Service Not used |

I just got this club yesterday. Ordered it off of E-Bay for $250. I haven't played a round with it yet but I have hit a couple of balls with it. They go high, far, and straight. I even hit a couple off the toe and they still went straight. The SQ seems to square itself up at impact so I would have to intentionally try to mis hit it. As for the looks, I think the size is a confidence builder. Plus it's for a reason...weight distribution, not "aerodynamics". There is one issue I have though. The headcover is a little hard to take off and put on. Overall, I think this is a game improving driver. Customer Service Not used |

Great driver. Unlike the people that whine about its looks I like it. Its a driver with attitude. Hit it consistently 250+. I should have gotten a stiff flex though. Swings great and sounds solid on impact! Customer Service not used Similar Products Used: Alpha, Callaway 454 Titanium |

I really grow tired of lame reviews complaining about the looks of clubs. What are they watching? Is that their actuall HTP? I have doubt. Anyways, I have played the G2, R7, and this one. All are really good! I was waiting for TM to come out with a bigger version. However, I got this driver and it was just amazing! First time I played with it I hit all fairways except two. And, after I got used to it I was bombing the ball! I have bombed it with the R7, But most drives were going 260 at least! On four of my drives I was easily over 300! Most people complaining of the looks need to get over themselves. Further, who is the guy that posted without evening trying this club. Oh well. All I can say is this driver is great. If you are one of those people that are concerned about looks it's too bad. Maybe you should go to Vegas and find some hotties. If you want a better game and LONGER yards, this is your driver. SQ 10.5, Pro Launch
There is no possible way (except for looks)this club ranks less than 5 stars! It is LOOOOng straight and more forgiving than Hillary Clinton! I had a 9 degree, with Nike Diamana and found I hit it too low and with not enough carry with the occasional BOMB. So I sold it and bought the 10.5/Pro Launch and this is a perfect combo of length, carry, andf roll! As long as my FT3/Diamana and just as reliable as my R5TP/Diamana. Heel, toe are all forgiven. Just tee it a bit lower than you are used to and you won't even notice how it looks. Also if you normally play a 9 degree driver consider a 10.5 (it is a low spin head for sure!) I went to Golftown and was hitting the Sq driver versus my Ignite and the Callaway FT3 Tour. They were all 9.5 degrees in loft. I noticed I got the highest ballspeed and smash factor from the sasquatch. My ballspeed with the Ignite and the Callaway was around 152-155. My average ballspeed with the SQ was 155-160 with one comming in at 162!!! The smash factor was around 154-155 on good hits with the ignite and the Fusion while the SQ was 156 to 161!!! It is defiantely a hotter faced driver and I am going to buy it for next season!!! Similar Products Used: Nike Ignite, Callaway FT3 fusion, TM R7 |

After another two rounds with this driver, I have decided to give it up. Definitely not worth the hype. I have missed more fairways with this driver than ever. Granted it gives a few more yards, but why play from the rough? I have since traded the driver in.... |

this is my 1st review, i am 16 and from sunny england, i ordered the club from the states as it not out in england till feb 06. i love it. looks very big compared to the ignite 410, what i was using. i find it alot more forgiving than the ignite and alot straighter and i get more distance than before. it was abit pricey as it came to over $400, but i had a different shaft to the original as i think graffaloy make the best shafts. it is easy to work the ball aswell. i was hitting it straight at the range and moved onto working the ball which i found easy too. i would definatly say give it a try and i recommend it to anyone. You know, it's funny how a simple change in equipment can make a huge difference. Just the fact that this thing is soooooo big, allowed me to have the confidence to shift my weight completely on my swing and now, I can honestly say I am hitting the driver 40 YARDS further. Also, since I am completing my swing, my drives do not slice at all anymore (unless I want them to, in which case I will just hang back on my swing a little). Now my drives go straight with a slight draw giving me the extra roll I need. I hit two drives today with this driver that were over 305 yards. I hit two drives that were over 290, and I drove the green on a 310 yard par 4. I am completely amazed at the change. I know it's not completely the driver. I know my swing has changed in the last few rounds, and I am swinging the club with much greater authority, but it can't be a coincidence that this happened the exact same day that I switched to this driver. This driver is long, and straight. The shaft works perfect for me, I honestly am sooooo happy I know this one is staying in my bag until they make a SasQuatch II, which hopefully won't be too soon... Go out and try it!! Customer Service Haven't used them yet. Similar Products Used: Taylor Made R5, Taylor Made R7, Callaway Big Bertha 454, MacGregor Mactec |
