Cobra 427ss l0.5 loft
With no chance to warm up I drove the ball on the first tee 270 yards with a 5 yd. fade even though I hook the ball. I didn't miss a fairway all day and was l5 yards longer than my average drive. You can swing hard and still land in the middle of the fairway. A great club that will give you higher trajectory than another club with the same degree of loft Similar Products Used: Intregra, Orlimar, Adams |

Our perhaps say used to shoot in the nineties, got better, then went back. I tried the Cobra 427 and it launched it high...and looooong. Downhill Par-4 with a 200 foot total drop. Now, I'm not a short knocker by any stretch of the imagination but there are plenty of guys who crank it past me on a regular basis. I average about 103 on the gun. Hit this thing into a stiff heawind from at about 11AM. Stepped up, bounced it into the rough where it bounces up into the last bunker on the left. 92 yards left. Pitching wedge to 20 feet. Curl in the snake and walk away with birdie. The high lauch works wonders with low-spin balls. Runs like a scalded dog. Scary. |

427 SS Stiff Shart
It's been time to replace the old clubs. I've tried several. The Cleveland Laucher worked very well. I couldn't hit the Taylormade Drivers. However, when I picked up the 427, I was able to hit as hard as I wanted and it goes strait. Hit it on the toe and it hooks back in. I drive as far as my buddy who pumps iron everyday. I cannot say enough good about this club! Similar Products Used: Cleveland Launcher, Taylor Made 300 and 500 Series, Titlest, Ping, |

SS427 10.5 deg. Stiff shaft
I wish I was one of the Engineers working at Cobra so I could take credit for this club. The SS427 is, as I like to call it, STUPID LONG.... My jaw still drops when I hit this club! A nice easy swing gets me the same distance I used to get. A normal swing for me adds 30 yards to my old drives. I am driving the ball further than the 0 to 2 handicappers I play with. They call it a volkswagen on a stick.. .I call it UNBELIEVABLE! My accuracy has improved.. My feel for what the club will do is much better than with any other. With the tip stiff shaft, my trajectory acts like my older 9 deg. King Cobra. Huge distance, forgiving, affordable....GO King Cobra! I am a 2nd year golfer with a the usual difficulties accessing the grass directly in FRONT of me. I have been having a torrid affair with my Adams strong 3 Tight lie up to now.It has been my "driver". I did demo both the 350 and the 427 prior to purchase, I took the 427 for the extra yardage. I really do like this club (I must say that I find the size of it to be ludicrous)and I am still exploring the wonderful possibilities that it represents. Overall, a club that makes it very hard to make mistakes. Customer Service not needed Similar Products Used: Adams Tight lie 3 wood Affinity Titanium driver |

I purchased this drvier during the British Open when a sale was happening. THE BEST DEAL I MAY HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED IN GOLF! I can only add that I have gained so much confidence due to this new driver. You simply can't miss hit it. The distance will also be a shock to anyone looking for it. I was aprehensive at first because I prefere a face that is "square" to the target when setting up. This club, like all made now, has a slightly hooked face. Believe me, after you first hit you will put that all behind you. I feel lucky to have found this one. If their irons are anything like the driver I can't wait to try them either. The best thing is I don't feel like I got ripped off. Thanks Cobra. Similar Products Used: Titleist 975 J. |

Was completely happy with the Taylormade 360 but a buddy insisted on buying it from me after he used it. Went to the store with no preconceptions. Hit all of the popular current drivers. The Cobra was the most consistent for me. Fewer errant shots. In the fairway more often. I can swing it at 50 - 60 % of max and keep it in the fairway on holes where I would normally use a 3 wood. Hard to say but is probably 10-20 yards longer on average. I can keep up with some guys who are 30 years younger! Customer Service N/A Similar Products Used: Taylormade 360, Taylormade TI2 |

This driver is simply the most forgiving driver I have personally tried. I know many people on here lie about distance gains but this is no lie. I am 6'3" and i weigh 190 pounds. My head speed is between 116-120mph. Yesterday i drove the green on a par 4 341 yards uphill. It was 27 degrees and no wind. I can hit the ball a long way most days but NOTHING like this. This club simply put is a gun. You do not have to believe me but at least take my advice when I say this is the longest and most forgiving club out there. However the shaft in this club (I have the stiff pro force) will balloon the ball a bit. If you like a lower trajectory find a different shaft with a different kick point. I like the trajectory but I imagine in a strong wind it may hit the ball a bit high. If you want something to work the ball this is not the club. If you want straight distance this is for you! This is by far the best driver I have ever hit. It is unbelievably long and straight.I had the ping TISI and it has nothing on this club. The sound this club makes at impact is deafning. This club is absolutely the best driver on the market and for a great price.
