King Cobra SS350 Stiff Flex
Well, demo days has done it again. I played this past Sunday out of town and used rental clubs and the pro shop let me demo the King Cobra. Holy sheet! I've never hit the ball father and straighter in my life. I don't work for Cobra, nor care to promote their product, but I must recommend this club to anyone looking to be consistent off the tee. I only flubbed two drives but that was because of my poor swing on those shots. Every other drive blew by every I was playing with. So I went and bought one and took it to the range and the same results, long far drives that stayed straight. The easier and smoother I hit it, the longer it sailed. If you try and over power it, you don't achieve anything with this club. Customer Service None Similar Products Used: Ping IST 10.5 |

I have used the Callaway steelhead plus the past 2 years and the Taylormade 360 most of this year. This club is by far the best of the 3. It sets up beautifully at address, and I can hit this down the middle almost everytime. Like most of the reviews, this is the MOST forgiving Driver I have ever used. Distance is not as far as the 360 but close. Do yourself a favor and give this club a try. Customer Service N/A Similar Products Used: TaylorMade 360, Callaway steelhead plus |

King Cobra SS 350cc (Stiff Shaft)
I was playing with the Callaway GBB driver with a Proforce 65 Stiff shaft and decided to get something know and improved. I was unsure of what to get, so I tried a friends Cobra driver. I was truely amazed. This driver was even more consistant off the tee and just as long, if not longer then my GBB. I have always liked Cobra products....I have King Cobra II irons....but always thought the other driver's weights were just off. Cobra seemed to make the drivers a little too heavy for my taste. However, with this driver, they changed everything. Though it feels light in hand, it almost seems to swing itself. It stays on plain like no other club I've hit. I'm a 10 handicap, and find that that size is great for confidence, the sweet spot is huge, and off-center hits have good distance and great roll. If you are having trouble off the tee....this is the club for you. Also, I have hit a few of the new drivers out. And you CAN NOT BEAT THE PRICE OF THIS CLUB. Some drivers cost between $400-$500....Cobra is prob kicking themselves for selling this for so cheap.....they could easily sell this club for $450. Customer Service Service is great. Nothing with driver, but did have to send off King Cobra II irons to get this flattened for my height. |

Road Tested this at the range twice, the black head/shaft combo gave the illusion to me anyway the driver was shorter than 45" but it was not. Swings easy, although light you can feel the head througout the swing. Sets up good behind the ball, black head looks good to, anything on the face goes straight is very forgiving and good distance. Not a Cobra fan but was impressed a good driver and more forgiving than my Callaway Pro Series, has a diiferent sound but is still ok...All in all a good driver and appears to great value, the stock Aldila Reg flex shaft also felt good to me. I tried this club and the 427cc model, both with 9* loft and Stiff shafts. The 350 trajectory was much lower and overall just as accurate as the 427.I have hit a Ping ISI driver for several years and considered it irreplaceable, the 350SS is just as easy to control and is 15+ yards longer. Also the 9* 350SS is fairly easy to hit from a fairway lie. Customer Service None needed. Similar Products Used: Ping ISI, Nike, Taylor Made 360, Taylor Made 320, Callaway C4, Cobra 427 |

Cobra 350 SS offset 9 degrees
I started playing four years ago, but only started playing weekly for the first time this summer. My previous driver was the Callaway Hawkey VFT, which I have been using for 3 years. That driver was fine, and I was averaging about 250 yards with a roll...280 if I really nailed it. But lately my mechanics were breaking down and I was having trouble hitting the fairway. Decided it was time for a new driver, so did some research and bought the Cobra 350 SS with the offset. I got the 9 degree club insteade of the 10.5 because I wanted to maintain a more boring projectory and possibly get some more roll. I will tell you this, everything you have read about this club is true....At the range my first 25 drives where dead straight, carrying about 250+ and rolling another 20. For me, averaging 280 and splitting the fairway 80% of the time was a dream as opposed to getting the occassional 280 yard drive. Oh, and one more thing, yes there are limited grooves in the face, making it less workable than let's say a Titleist, but I found that you can still draw or fade if you vary your grip and stance (just like any other club!!). If you are a scratch player, then this club may not be for you, since your swing is probably defined enough to use a Titleist 950 and you know how to groove the ball to get it to perform...but since most of us are not on the PGA tour, and you just want to find the fairway at about 280 yards and give yourself a chance at making par and the occassional birdie....then I highly reccommend this club. Get one, and start really enjoying the game the way it was meant to be played (deep down the fairway and out of the rough!!!) King Cobra ss350
As part of a program to improve my game this year, finally decided to upgrade to a new driver. Swing speed 95-100 mph, seldom went much past 225 yds. After doing research- Golf mag, reviews here, went to a driving range that had a large # of demos. Initially interested in Cleveland Luancher, Nike & Taylor Made. Tried Cobra at suggestion of staff, as well as Titleist 975J. While Cobra had great distance, was most impressed with its forgiveness & consistency. My most over-the-top slice swing only produced a playable fade; could easily draw the ball. Probably added 10-20 yards, but significantly increased ability to control the ball. Went with the 350 over the 427-- more comfortable with the size & able to easily control it. Customer Service Excellent-- able to get the exact club I wanted in only a few days. |

King Cobra SS 350
Before i bought this club i used to shoot somewhere in the 100s. I had a horrible slice and had trouble controlling the accuracy and distance of my drives (150-170 meters. My irons play was pretty good though. It came to birthday so my parents decided to bet me a new club. I had seen the King Cobra driver on TV and they bought a brand spaking new one for my birthday. Immidately, i began shooting the mid 80's, which is what i shoot now. My driving is long(220-240meters, i'm 16 but fairly strong) and now hit a very accurate drive. I am now playing junior pennant with about a 12 handicap. This is with little change to my game. If your a strugling golfer that shoots high 90 or 100s, this club is great. Customer Service Excellent! Club was too stiff so they replaced it free!!!! Similar Products Used: PGF MP Driver Series 4, Callaway Hawk Eye, Callaway C4, TaylorMade360 |

I have played golf for a little over a year now and I play 2-3 times a week. My current index is 8.7 due to my good iron play and above average short game. My biggest issue has always been getting off the tee. I have had a slice since day one with my driver and at times have managed to get it to be a controlable fade but never what most would consider good. I have played almost all of the high end clubs(ERC, Nike, Taylor made, Adams, and Cleveland) but none of them were as forgiving as this club. I find the best thing about the Cobra driver is its ability to keep your ball in play. I also love the fact that with this club you can really get after it and try to crush the ball and not worry where it will end up.It always gets to the fairway. I have most recently been using the Nike driver and I averaged around 240-250 off the tee with a moderate fade. With the cobra I got an extra 10-20 yards(honest) with a straight ball flight and I have stayed in the fairway far more than with any other of the clubs I have Played. The look of this club is confidence inspiring alone. If you fight a slice or a fade I highly recommend you try this club. Another great thing is that these clubx are less expensive that similar produscts on the market. The only issue some people may have is that it hits the ball pretty high. I normally hit a medium trajectory shot and it is definately higher with this club. A different shaft may help if this is a problem for some. if you are looking for a forgiving driver this is the club for you, while i have found the distance to be excellent, this club really shines in the forgiveness dept. this driver, as with all drivers performs well when struck on the sweet-spot however when i miss with my driver i tend to hit the ball on the toe of the club, and with the ss350, toe hits that would normally be two fairways over to the right, are now on the right center to right edge of the fairway that i am playing with minimal loss of distance. thin hits seem to go straight with about 30% loss in distance. a word of advice if you decide to get the ss350, get longer than standard tee's so that you can tee the ball higher, because the face of the driver is so deep that the sweet spot is about 1" higher than on most drivers Customer Service no problems with this club, had iron repaired in the past and service was great.
