Cleveland Launcher Titanium Drivers

Cleveland Launcher Titanium Drivers

DESCRIPTION

The LAUNCHER Driver was first introduced in November of 2000 to a select group of PGA Tour professionals. Put in play immediately, the LAUNCHER driver started making headlines when Vijay Singh used it to win back-to-back tournaments on the European Tour. Andrew Magee landed in the PGA history books when he made the only ever hole in one on a par four. Other golfers also used the LAUNCHER to win on Tour. The LAUNCHER Driver is rapidly earning a place in golf bags on and off The Tour because of its unprecedented distance and all-around performance.

Boasting a traditional shaped 330cc clubhead, the LAUNCHER features a Titanium body and a thin Beta-Titanium face that precisely meets the legal COR (coefficient of restitution) limit set forth by the USGA. The LAUNCHER Driver was designed to not only meet the needs of pros on The PGA Tour but, more importantly, to bring better distance and enjoyment to your game.

I''''''''ve been playing golf for less than 12 months, but I''''''''m working on getting my handicap down (gone from 27 to 19 since joining a club 3 months ago). Up until now I''''''''ve had limited success with a driver, and have been using a 3 metal instead. Got the Cleveland Launcher after waiting a few weeks (they''''''''re in limited supply for Aussie lefties), and being disappointed with the Wilson Deep Red driver. Tried the Launcher out on the range last week and fell in love from the first hit. Feels good in the swing, and contact is crisp, with a postive feel and sound. Now played 3 rounds with it, and it''''''''s already found a permanent home in my bag. Well hit drives are long, with a nice trajectory, and finding the fairway on a regular basis. Even mis hits fly OK, and are out there on the fairway, or in less trouble than I used to get in with a driver. Importantly it''''''''s given me the confidence to stand up on the first tee and take out a driver knowing I''''''''m going to hit a fair to good shot. No exaggerated drive lengths from me, but if you''''''''re looking for a driver that looks good, feels good instills confidence and gets you a long way towards that elusive hole then try this one. PS Purchase price is in Australian dollars

I have been playing a 975j for the last year, and I watched a few people hitting the launcher on the coures and driving range. they just murdered the ball.I figured that this driver deserves a try, first I demoed a 9.5 stiff with stock shaft, loved it hit it 10 to 15 yards longer than with the 975j,it is also staighter I think I missed one fairway that day.went back to the golf shop and purchased a 9.5 stiff with a graphite design ys7 shaft.played it for the first time yesterday.all I can say is I won''tbe switching drivers anytime soon.

Customer Service

excellent service emailed a question about closed clubface on 9.5 and 10.5 drivers, was told that was done to change launch angle.

After reviewed all comments and advice of various drivers, I am giver to understand that the cleveland 330 launcher is a good quality and cheap driver. I therefore ordered the club. I expected the club would be delivered in two months time as I am a lefty. But only one month required. I tried the club at driving range. It''s really good. Suitable trajactory, straight and easy to hit. I think it is because the sweet spot of the club is larger than other drivers especially with deeper sweet spot. If any one asks me to suggest a driver, I shall recommend this club to him/her.

Customer Service

As the driver is good, so I ask for a lefty Cleveland Iron TA-5 and Putter FFI. However, no stocks are found. It is disappointed. If approaching the cleveland website, there is a left-hander corner bu

This is the best driver that I have hit. I have gain 15 yds over my Big Bertha and Adams along with better control. Off center hits lose very little yardage. I highly recommend this club. Be careful of the loft, I was hitting and 8 degree with my Adams and a 7.5 degree with my Callaway and was disappointed with the lowest 9.5 degree that Cleveland had. To my surprise its hit a lot lower than either one of the others. Hit it find out for yourself. You don''t have to spend $400 to get a great club.

Thanks to everyone for their quality reviews of this driver. After reading, I finally decided to purchase this after hitting the taylormade''s, 975J, and VFT. I almost went with the J. I have been to the Launching Pad (formerly called the "range") twice and today we were able to get out in 45 degree weather for the first round of the year. I consistently hit this down the middle or with a slight draw and I was hitting with or past my 2 handicap playing partner with his new 975J. Let''s just say that hardly ever happens! I can''t wait for some warmer weather and some tightly mowed fairways. The ball comes off the club hot and the trajectory with the 9.5* was a good penetrating flight. You have some good options when you change your tee height. High with the wind behind and the ball stayed up forever. A little lower into the wind and the ball was hit on a rope like the wind wasn''t even there. Everyone should try this before they buy anything else. The only issue I have is that I am a LEFTY and this club is not available in the 8.5*, sqaure face option. The 1* closed face on the 9.5* is helpful but if you already hit a draw this might create a hook and the 10.5* has to really be closed with the 2* closed face. However, very few companies tailor to lefties with their full line and Cleveland does do a great job of making their irons and wedges available to us southpaws. Try this and then buy it!

WOW!! I have only hit this on the range once but what a great feeling driver. When I squared this thing up it just destroyed balls. The overall quality and finish of the club is excellent. Looks great at address and sets up very nicely. The 330 cc head doesn''t come across as too big and the sound and feeling at impact is pleasing. Trajectory was excellent. Medium penetrating ball flight. The Fujikura designed s-flex shaft performs as advertised. Stable and consistent. I checked the reviews here before I purchased this driver and I am glad I did. Those who praised this driver were dead on. I can''t wait to get this thing out on the course and watch my buddies'' mouths drop when they see the bombs I LAUNCH with this thing.

I posted a review some time ago proclaiming this a great driver. I got a hold of a TM 300 w/grafalloy prolite 35 for very cheap, to use as a backup driver. Hit them head to head, TM 300 - great driver, the Launcher is just flat out better. Months later, it still rules the roost.

I was committed not to buy a new driver this year. My Hawkeye w/ UST Proforce 65 has been a reliable club (getting me in the 70''s for the first time last year). I really liked that driver. But being a tweaker of sort, I tried a couple of demos at the range just to see what''s new. I tried the TaylorMade 320, VFT and a Cleveland Launcher against my reliable Hawkeye. To my surprise, I slowly felt myself wanting to have this Launcher in my bag. I thought that I have a pretty good control with my Hawkeye (which sometimes hook if the swing is a bit jerky), but everytime I put the the Hawkeye down and pick up the Launcher I realize that I was hitting this one particular club straighter with more control than the others. So there I was at the Pro Shop an hour later getting ripped off trading in my Hawkeye for a few bucks more than I paid for the UST shaft so that I can have this new Launcher in my bag.

I love this club. It is hands down the best driver I''ve hit. I had a Callway Steelhead Driver that I could''nt hit. I hit a lot of clubs prior to purchasing the Launcher. The big clubhead inspires a lot of confidence. The gold shaft is sharp and not distracting at all. I''ve added distance to my game, which has made a big difference on holes that I use it.

If you''re looking for great value coupled with outstanding performance then you need to consider this driver. It''s a very forgiving club that will keep your ball in play even on those less than perfect swings. As far as length is concerned this club delivers exceptional distance as well.
