This driver is amazing! I have played several drivers in the past including the Taylor Made R7, the Nike Ignite, and several Titeliest clubs but this is by far the best. It gives amazing distance and carry while still maintianing accuracy and workability. At first I did have a tendency to leave it a bit left but was soon able to correct it. The sound that this driver delivers is also amazing. It is a crisp hollow sound that doesn't allow everyone on the course to hear but gives the player a great deal of feed back. I chose to use the stock Fujikara shaft and must say that I am quite pleased with it. I previously had a Cleveland 330 Launcher and was also pleased with the stock shaft. The looks of the driver are also very pleasing with the carbon fiber crown, black shaft, brushed finish, and Golf Pride based grip.

Customer Service

I purchased this club from Golfsmith and the order was processed and delivered very quick.

I'm a 9 handicap. I have historically played only Titleist drivers (D, J and K) until recently trying the Cleveland. I swtiched mainly to get a larger head which I hoped would yield more distance with the same level of effort. I had the shaft custom fitted which makes a big difference. Compared to my old 983K, I hit the 460 Comp higher and a little farther. The 460 is more forgiving on off center hits (which may be why it seems to go a little farther). My only issue with the Cleveland is that it seems to me there is some draw bias built into the club. I tend to play right to left, so if I get quick with the 460 it turns into a nasty hook. The 983K also had draw bias, but I think less than the Cleveland. Other than that, this is a really good driver. The face doesn't look overly "shut" to me at address, which is important to me (it appears to me that it may be closed only slightly). The sound of the club at impact is fine. I don't notice any weird of muffled sounds due to the graphite in the head. The head will look large to those who have not yet moved up to a 460cc head, but you get used to it. I don't notice any ill effects from using a 460cc head. In terms of working the ball, I generally try to hit a stock shot every time with the driver, so I really can't speak to workability. All in all, a good driver.

The straightest driver out there! Simply AMAZING! I got a Graffaloy x-stiff 75gm shaft 10.5 degree and i can just crush it. With little spin it really lets me go after if and it helps keep it in the fairways or just off them! I demoed everything out there and was buying a new driver every few months. This club kicks major A$$.

Customer Service

They were a little slow in getting me the club but due to the shaft being a little hard to find, I was not upset!

Just got a Cleveland Launcher Comp 460 with stock regular shaft with 11.5 degrees loft. Took it to the range on Friday and then on the Course on Saturday. It was amazing. I got 275 yard drives, swinging easy, just remembering to accelerate through the ball. I was in the fairway on 10 out of the 13 times that I hit a driver. And in the past I have sliced to the right prety much on every other driver. So, if you have a natural slice, this club will correct it in one second. I highly reccommmend the 11.5 degree loft. The ball flies high and goes forever. At the range, I can easily hit it to the top of the back net at 250 yards - therefore a drive of about 290-300 yards! On the course I got about 265 yards because I was swinging easy - it was my first day with the driver. I love this club. Paid $319 for a new one on eBay!

I'm a golf gadget geek. I'm not that good, but like to try to buy a game :). So, when the Cleveland Van came by locally, I had to sign up for a fitting session for something. I'd set a goal for myself - if I can hit half the fairways in a round, I can treat myself to a new driver. So, decided to get fit for a new COMP driver. After much testing, the guy fitted me into a NVS (Orange) R-flex and a 10.5. I think it's mostly the shaft, but man, I've been hitting more fairways than I ever did! Even had one round of 10 of 14 hit! I'm not much longer... but definitely feel much more in control of my drives. Even have a little bit of a hook compared to my normal slices. But again, I think it's mostly the shaft. The clubhead is definitely nice to look at, and sets up nicely on look.

Since I started playing 4,5 years ago, I've held back strongly on using a driver. Occasionally, I've tried a few demo's on my rounds, but not purchased or used regularly. I sticked to my 3 wood off tee. That was then! For a couple of months now, I've tried out a few options for my first buy. I've tested all the mainstream choices like Callaway Big Bertha Titanium 454, Ping G2, Taylor Made R7 and King Cobra SZ 440. The Cleveland Launcher 460 Comp is by far the most succsessful one! It's forgiving, it has a nice sound by impact and the ball flight is by far the most optimal for me. I tested the 10.5 degrees with regular Fujikura shaft, and with the new weight parameters and trajectory they have put in the head, this option gave me more than high enough carry. I need a few rounds and training on the range to get less steep approach which should result in more length, but my experience so far is excellent. This driver is practically a bomb for all hcp categories, and if you need this confirmed, try it out by yourself! Or read more reviews and tests at www.rankmark.com, www.golfdigest.com or the last issue of Todays Golfer (UK). No need to say more... Just do it!

After testing Macgregor's new NVG driver, the pro handed me Cleveland Launcher 460 COMP 9.5, it feels light with either stocked fujikura or NVS 75s, sound is muted. Then shot after shot, it's consistently long, straight and effortless. I felt like I hit the longest shot with only 50% of effort, it 's edging all my current favorites: my Adams Redline 460/purple ice, Taylor Made R5/YS-7 or Macgregor's NVG by 5-10 yards (not counting rolls) with side by side comparison, with 80-90% of my full power. It feels like nothing I have ever hit before. I am not convinced with the price tag, but way too suprised at the effort/distance ratio. I like the grip, point and rip it feeling on the Redline/purple ice or R5/YS-7 combination, but couldn't question the effortlessness of the Cleveland 460 comp, way too easy to get the jaw-dropping distance at the target. Superb driver!

Flat out the best driver on the market to date! However, don't base a decision to buy a new driver just by reading the reviews alone. Judging by the prior posts, that will be hard to do. I highly suggest testing several models on a launch monitor to narrow down your decision, which is exactly what I did to land this exceptional piece of golf weaponry. The launch monitor is probably-check that-IS the best assessment in selecting the proper driver for a specific type of swing. There's no other way to explain how easy and effortless it is to produce maximum distance and accuracy w/ this club-absolutely silly! The ball flight, control, and distance brings out confidence swing after swing. There really is no need to try to kill this thing as you'll discover the clubface is one of, if not the hottest on the market. Being a composite head, you wouldn't know it by the pleasing sound produced from this when flushed on the sweet spot. Not a dull thud like many other competitors composite models. The setup I bought was the stock fujikura stiff shaft (surprisingly exceptional as well for being stock), w/ 9.5* loft. Been through several drivers and am pleased to know this will be staying in the bag for quite some time! STOKED INDEED!!
