This club is a must have for any player looking to increase range and accuracy, but like golf in general, it's mostly the user not the club, and in most cases is user preference if you go with a modern day model. Despite that this club is extremely forgiving and seems to have a lighter feel than other 460s I've hit, in the transition to this driver I have driven 2 greens on my home course which weren't reachable due my the lack of carry (I previously carried a 7.5). Unless the USGA changes the size limits this club shouldn't be obsolete for a good while.

I just bought the X460 to replace the Big Bertha that I had and oh my God is this something or not. I was slicing a lot before and having problems hitting my driver, but the X460 offers so much forgiveness that it does not show. I would recommend this club to anyone that is thinking of at least improving their game. It is an awesome club.

Bought the driver about a week ago. Has a little bit of trouble hitting it at first, either going off the heel or toe and only about 150 yards. However after a little bit of practice, I was hitting it straight as an arrow and at least 260 per drive. I used to hit my drives about 240 with a Taylormade R540xd. But now it's not surprising to see it go 280+. Excellent driver, especially now that it is under $200. I definately recommend it.

This club is extremely great!!!!!! My Ping G5(which sucks) only gave me about 150 carry with 50 roll. i went to the driving range with this club and instantly turned an ugly hook to a straight draw, and can work a fade easily.I carried 200-220(easily, with range balls) yards and rolled a pretty good amount. The mis-hits are also pretty far.I love the sound it makes"WHACK". I am only 14 years old and have been going to the driving range since i was like 9. This club absolutely blows my freckin mind away.If you have a slice, you should definetly buy this club, and if you want to get the ball in the air more, it is a must buy, especially for $199.99 at your local Dick's.I can't think of someone who couldn't hit well with this club.CALLAWAY ROCKS!!!!!

Now, I played a no-name driver for a long time, or until I was able to hit decent drives. As a high school player, my swing is not extremely fast, but with my old club i would on average get about 230-250 yards tops off the tee. After switching to the x460, I consistently get drives around 250+ when I hit the ball well, and I have even been able to get 290 (tailwind+downhill :)). It clearly has "pop" to it, and i believe that as long as one has their swing somewhat decent, they should definitely purchase one. The price nowadays isnt bad either.

Bought this driver almost new for a bargain $135.00. What a find! Hard to miss the fairway. Even poorly struck shots fly straight. I have this in 9.5 degrees with green NV shaft. This shaft is an excellent compliment to this driver. I have never been a fan of Callaway drivers but I have no complaints with this one. I do admit that the distance can be a bit lacking at times but it is hard to argue with tee shots consistantly finding the fairway. Great product.

Bougth the Callaway X460 Driver from Callaway Preowned after trying one that a golfing buddy of mine had, I hit his a few times and was impressed with the feel and distance. I didnt want to spend $299.99 on a new one right away so I bougth the next best thing Like New $160.00. Looks like new, No regrets, I have been hitting a Big Bertha ll but it is now my back-up driver. X460 is a beast, keep your swing slow and on plane and the ball just flies, people who complain about this driver not going straight and long needs to see a pro and work out their swing, most likely outside in = SLICE dont blame the driver.

I am a solid 8.5 with driver swing of 110 plus or minus. I usually average about 270 or so and some of the time I can bomb well over 300 when the stars align. I have always used Titleist drivers, currently have the 905T. I have sampled most of the "player's" drivers out there from Taylor, Cleveland etc. I always stuck with Titleist. Today I went to the golf shop and got on the Launch Monitor. I tried the TM SuperQuad 460, the Titleist 905R and the Cleveland HiBore. Everything was low launch and pulled. My current driver was pretty good on the launch and spin, but i was a little wild, kinda like on the course. Then I tried the X460. No exaggeration, I was within 6 yards of target on EVERY drive, and I hit about 30. Launch and spin were great and I was carrying an average of 270, average distance with roll about 288. I typically get more roll on the course than what the launch monitor says, so I am optimistic that I will be getting 290 yard plus drives with this baby. It looks good, sounds good, feels good and if the launch monitor is even close to accurate I will be sitting in the middle of the fairway with a lot of wedges in my hand. I will give an update - hope this is helpful. From reading many of these reviews this seems like one of the best overall drivers ever made.

I have had this club for about 3 months, and WOW, i have onyl been playing a year and a half, BUT this driver makes me look like a seasoned player off the tee boxes. if it were not for my terrible iron play i would be in the 70's. this driver goes over 300 and right down the fairway for me. i am kind of a hefty guy though, so dont expect a carry of over 280 if your not powerful. i had a friend hit it, and him, being a 100 average shooter, even bombed one down the fiarway for him (250). i would suggest that you get the x fairway woods if you like the driver, it will change those impossible par 5's into possible eagle chances every time!!! i love love love callaway clubs, very forgiving, but at the same time not much loss in disdance. i use to play a 983k untill i started slicing the crap out of it, but there is no slice problem with the x460 and i even get that beautiful draw every once and a while.
GREAT CLUB, GREAT COMPANY, IF YOUR JUST STARTING TO PLAY AND HAVE SOME LARGE POCKETS CHECK THEM OUT!!!
