Very solid club. Center hits fly very straight and very long. An excellent club for those long par fives.

I received this driver for father's day and I have been using it more and more as I get comfortable with it. I've been hitting long irons and trying other drivers off the tee with mixed results. This driver is the best one I have hit yet. I can hit it about 250 without swinging too hard and it has a nice draw to it. I don't slice this club at all. This is the one, and for only $169.00 with a steel shaft brand new, it's a great value. The only problem I'm having is that everyone in my group likes to hit it after they hit their own tee shots- on every hole! Makes the game slow but one of the guys finally bought his own! The club head is not too small at all, and beyond the great results, it feel, looks, and sounds great.

Just bought this club in Sept and I've only played about 15 9-hole rounds so far but this is the easiest and straightest hitting club I've ever owned. I was using a Tight Lies but had problems popping my shots up unless the ball was on very short turf. Recently picked up a Steelhead 7 wood to go with it ( 180 - 200 ) yard range. I'm now using the 3 wood off the tee.

The steelhead woods have a very good feel. 3 and 5 wood trajectory is good. 7 is somewhat low. This wood is the best I have hit to date and I have owned several brands. At under $200 W/Graphite it is also well priced in comparison with other Callaway items.

Traded in my Callaway Warbird 5W for new Steelhead 5W (both clubs had firm graphite shafts). Like the Steelhead even better. Different feel enables me to more consistently control my direction - distance is about the same (170-180 yards carry). Don't like the new head cover - prefer traditional design.

Customer Service

I have bought a driver, 3W and 5W (all warbirds with RCH 96 shafts) and broke the shaft on my 5W hitting range balls on a cold day. Callaway service was outstanding. After calling their Service Deparment, they immediately sent me a new 5W (including a new head cover) and a free Callaway cap. The box in which I received the replacement club had a pre-paid UPS mail voucher for returning my old club.

The Steelheads hit the ball longer with less effort than my old clubs. They are also more forgiving.

Bought the 5W 3 months back and had not looked back since. It's much easier to hit than the long irons and a killer club on those long par 3s. I had recently added the 3W to my collection and am looking forward to break 90 consistently with the accurarcy of the 3W off the tee! Go grab it!

Model Reviewed: 3 wood

Easiest to hit 3 wood I've ever laid hands on! After hitting a few balls on the range with one, i took my adams tight lies out of my bag and replaced it with this club. I can only speak for myself but this club is easier to hit, longer and not subject to the dinky pop ups produced by a fluffy lie than the tight lies. I can swing as hard as I want with this club and rarely hit a bad slice or hook. Great Club!

Model Reviewed: Callaway Steelhead Drive 9* And 4+ wood

Don't believe the other reviews this is the true one. I am in no way affiliated w/Callaway Golf. I am only a teenager. I first bought the 4+ wood with a Memphis 10 steel shaft and discovered that i could hit it further than my TiBubble1 with much more accuracy! So i went out and bought a 9* driver right away with a RCH99 shaft strong flex. I am so satisfied with these clubs that if you have any questions e-mail me.

This club rocks! Great off the tee, from the rough, tight lies, even divots. The best thing about this club is the low center of gravity. You can get the ball up quickly and not have to sacrifice distance.
