Callaway Steelhead 5 wood
I traded in my Adams Tight Lies and Orlimar for this club. It is love it. No more worries about hitting under the ball in lies not in fairway. I hit this club over 220 yards and the 3 wood nearly 250 yards. They set up nice to my eye and are easy to hit from inside to out. Similar Products Used: Adams and Orlimar |

5 wood
Like most Callaway products, this club is all hype and no proformance. Steel shafted 5 wood has a swing weight about E-3, has no feel at all and is about 30 yards shorter than my GolfSmith $50 5 wood. Very typical Callaway product. Over Rated, Over priced, poor performance. Similar Products Used: Taylormade, King Cobra, Golfsmith. |

Callaway Steelhead 11 degree driver
Actually, I play off a 4. Bought the Steelhead (Memphis 10 steel shaft) about two weeks ago and I'm totally pleased. It's the straightest driving club I've ever used, much more dependable than any huge headed Ti club I've ever tried. The Steelhead has a very low center of gravity, ball gets up quickly, effortlessly, which is great for a low-ball hitter (thus the 11 degree) like me. I find this club to be maybe 5 yards shorter on my best hits than my old Ti, graphite shafted club. But it's so much straighter it's a great trade. I would recommend these clubs to anyone who likes a compact (yet still deep-faced) club head and control over their driving as opposed to striving for raw distance. I'd rather be 260 in the short grass than 265-270 in the nasties. Club head sets up slightly closed, looks great behind the ball. I hit it string straight, worst shots are just a 5-10 yard fade or draw with minimal loss of distance on the fading shots. Makes that ""tink"" sound that Callaways make. You'll get used to it. SteelHead 9' Driver Firm Flex
Scary long off the tee. This club is worth the money. One of the better buys right now on the market. The firm shaft takes some getting use to but it should add a little distance of the tee. Similar Products Used: None |

Callaway Steelhead 3 wood
Callaway woods, in my opinion are the best on the market. The 3 wood w/ the Memphis shaft is what I hit and can carry 240-250 yards with it. It is easy to hit and sets up well to the ball. The club does have a distinct ""tink"" when hit that is somewhat different than the Warbird series. The club face sets up closed and it it easy to hit a draw with this club. Off the tee I have hit this club 275 and out drive my buddies and their Taylor Maids........ Customer Service Callaways support of their product is great. I had the finish start to shed off my old Warbird 3 Wood and they refinished and regripped it for nothing and I got it back the same week. (I did Fed-X it on Mon and got it back on Fri) Similar Products Used: I carry the new Hawkeye 10^ Titanium Driver Stiff graphite shaft and the Warbird 7 Heaven. I am a 2.4 H.C Golfer - The woods and Ping irons do alot for me..... |

Callaway Steelhead 3 wood
I am amazed when I hear all of the reviewers going from 180 yard to 250 yard by virtue of a club. This tells me that the rest of their review is tainted. The reality of this golf club is that it is pretty easy to hit and gives good results. It is neither the longest or straightest golf club on the market. It also does not, nor does any other club, increase your length substantially. The issue with this club is the shaft. As with all Callaway shafts, they are flimsy and do not deliver the feel that a better golfer wants. If you are purchasing this club, put in a Sensicore or Rifle. You will be much happier with the product. Similar Products Used: Orlimar, Taylor Made. |

Callaway Steelhead 5W
I felt that the weight distribution of this club was superior to other fairway woods tested. I can really open up when swinging this club. I use this off of the tee on certain occasions as well as from a wide variety of lies. I can't remember when I popped one up with this club. Excellent value and quality. #3 & #5 woods
These are the worst fairway woods I have played in ages. I used to have the Warbird set, and bought these in continuity. They don't set up well on the ground, the shafts (graphite strong) are flimsy and any slightly off-center shot is a catastrophe. I did buy a Ping Tisi driver which I can hit better off the fairway than these. Also broke a shaft when my bag fell over. Customer Service My clubs are left handed, when my shaft broke, they could not replace it for at least 6 weeks ( because of the replacement of the club and that left handed clubs are rarely in stock)... |

Calloway Steelhead driver (10deg)
This is by far the best driver I've ever had the opportunity to hit. Cost me only $160 + tax, on sale at The Sports Authority! Goes loong and straight without a lot of effort. Also, sounds great too! It may be just a tad shorter than the Ti2 in distance but it more than makes up for it in accuracy. I look forward to more rounds in the 90's and hopefully an 80 or two, with this new driver. Gonna pick up the 3wood next. Similar Products Used: None |
