Got this club as an anniversary gift from my wife. Only been playing this game for a year and a half so I'm still learning. I've had problems hitting other drivers. Ball always slice. So I got a set of offset (Integra) drivers. They worked well for me but not like the Callaway. The very first time I teed off with this club I was on a 307 yard par 4. I was able to drive the green !!!! Im not kidding, I have witnesses. And Im a little guy, I only stand about 5'4". I got great distance and flight penetration with this club. The roll was great. The ball actually hit the center of the green and roll 4 feet off the back of it. Trying to figure out a way to get a 3 & 5 wood for Christmas. This club is easy to hit and real confidence builder. I give it top marks. This club is the BOMB !!!!!!

Very good fairway wood. I get good distance, nice trajectory and have not hit a bad shot yet. Very good forgiveness. This club instills confidence, nice look at setup and easy to work the ball. All in all, I like it and think anyone can use this club successfully - high handicappers to scratch....

Customer Service

I have the steelhead plus 9.5 degree driver, and I can kill the ball. It isn't really very forgiving, but if you hit it on the sweet spot it will go a mile. Also, it is pretty cheap. Good golfers should try it.

Having a slice problem with my long irons off the ground. I was searching for a club to replace my 3 iron. The Callaway 7 wood seemed to be the solution until I hit a few balls with one.Instead of replacing my 3 iron, I've replaced my 5 wood(which was my favorite wood)with a longer and straighter 7 wood.Ditto with the 4 wood, longer and straighter than any 3 wood I've tried. If you have a slice,or want a draw, try this club.

Bought at Golfsmith during sale before Xmas. A lot longer than my old Taylor Made Tour Spoon. When you hit them right they really go. Good distance on small mishits. They still slice with a slice swing.

Got the steel shaft model and I can hit the ball straight like a laser down the middle of the fairway. Didn't lose any distance with the steel shaft, still averaging 280-285 off the tee. I love the sound and the feel!

I love this club!! I does take getting use to, but once you hit it a couple of times, it is amazing. The club is very forgiving off hits not exactly right on the sweet spot. But if you do hit it on the sweet spot, you will know it. The club has great feel and with a steel shaft there is enough weight to keep a consistent swing. With my old driver the ball got very little roll, but with this driver the ball lands hot and I get lots of roll. Also, the sound is amazing! Even if you don't hit it well, atleast the people on the range will think you are nailing the sweet spot everytime.....

This is an excellent club. I purchased this club to replace my 3-iron. The best move I made. Perfect for those long par 3s. I typically hit my 3-iron about 200 (carry), but the ball always lands "hot" and rolls through the green. Now I hit the 7w 210 to 220, as straight as I can point, and almost no roll.

excellent club... solid all the way through the swing and generates tremendous power... the contact feel is good but not the same as some other clubs but the results are just as good if not better... i think the steelheads are the best on the market!

I am a 13 year old kid you has a set of Steelhead Plus woods. I can hit the driver 220-230. On vacation i hit one 250 and i am 13. These clubs are easy to hit and provide mega distance. I also hit a 200 yard shot out of a bunker with my 5 wood. These are the best clubs ever. I used taylor Made and those were awful. They felt bad i couldnt hit straight and i lost distance. Callaway is the best ever.
