The 3 Wood and the 7 Wood are the best fairway woods I've ever hit. These clubs are long, I get ten more yards than I did with my old BB Warbirds. The 7 wood can get the ball out of any lie, it gets the ball up fast and stops on a dime. I'd recommend these to anyone.

Customer Service

This is the best wood I have ever hit!
It goes as far as my driver but straighter. The trajectory is great. I hit it of the tee and on the ground. It is great

The word solid describes this club perfectly. Even off-center shots are feel solid. This club is easy to hit off of the fairway, rough, and tee. The ball explodes off of face, gets a great trajectory and plenty of roll. i recommend this club to all golfers

I play on a course with two 200+ yard par threes. My Adams Strong 7 with a steel shaft was a good club that hit the ball high and straight. But, 185 was about max under normal conditions. The Callaway, firm graphite shaft, performs in much same way but goes 210! The ball explodes off the face. I also hit the 3+ but it didn't out perform my Warbird 3+. The 7 wood is the best utility wood on the market. It goes as far as a 5 wood yet it's higher and stops better. The price is absurd but what can you do.

The Steelhead plus driver is the best steel driver on the market. This club will undeniably change the minds of people who favor Titanium drivers. The Steelhead even out performs most titanium drivers, maximizing trjectory, and distance. Another aspect about the Steelhead is that the sound it makes is excellent. Just think about how much attention you could get on the golf couse. Just the expectation of the sound, when I aproch the ball, gives me the confidence I need to hit it sweet and solid. It will definately improve your drive, because it improved mine a great deal.I Purchased the steel shaft because I personally favor it, and plus it is a good deal when it come to price. I highly recomend this driver to everyone who wants, acuracy and percision in there drives, long yardage, and lower results in their scores. The loud "PING" sound that the club make will further more augment your attitude toward the game, making you feel confident like a professional golf player.

Just got the club. I'm a big callaway fan to begin with but this club hasn't let me down yet. I get great distance from the fairway with it with few mis-shots. Expensive I'll grant that but I beileveit's worth it.

Model Reviewed: Steelhead Plus 8*

First of all, I usually shoot in the low 80s and have never carried a driver in my bag. I would rather hit my Ti2 3wood off the tee and put it in the middle of the fairway, with usually a 240-250 yard carry. This WAS good enough. Not anymore. The steelhead plus has raised the standard even more. The Steelhead Plus 8* is slightly smaller than my Ti2 3w but size can be deceiving. I borrowed a friends 8* firm. One word... AMAZING. This club is easy to use, and has a great boring trajectory. Roll and carry was about 270-280 (my longest in the fairway was 283, with 151 left to the pin). It's a great feeling to be able to attack the pin versus laying up short or using a long iron. Needless to say, I purchased a steelhead plus driver 8* for my bag.

According to reviews, the shaft is half a flex lower. I didn't notice it too much. Where it affects the performance is when you try to "gas it up" to get those few extra yards. If you tend to do that a lot, get a steel shaft. With this club, I don't think you will need to gas it up. This club is long enough.

As with any club, in order to get maximum distance, you need to hit the sweet spot. It also applies to this club. Although the club is forgiving in terms of accuracy (at least in the fairway), shots off center will travel slightly shorter. For me slightly off center means losing between 10-20 yards. I'll take it. A new steelhead plus 8* with graphite shaft for less than $185.

Model Reviewed: Callaway Steelhead Plus Drive + 3 Wood

I use to own a Great big bertha driver and a 4 strong warbird. Recently i've switched to these new Callaways after testing them at Callaway's demo. To my suprise, the steelhead driver was as long as my GBB and the 3 wood was easier to hit then the warbird. I've also switched from graphite to steel shafts because I get more consistent shot patterns and the darn shaft won't wear out on me after 2 years. I've always liked callaway woods and this new model is another great addition to their solid line of woods. My point is, the steelhead plus is a great performer with with clean lines and very beautiful head.
