This driver is OK. It should call it a Hookeye. Hit it perfectly solid and it yields great results. Get a little wristy and it turns a slight draw into a pull hook. The Ping TISi is more consistent, forgiving and longer. Similar Products Used: Taylor Made Burner, TM Firesole (hated it), and Ping (love it) |

Proseries 9.5 with 3.1 shaft
Proseries is definitely not for high handicappers, and even mid-handicappers may find this club a challenge to hit with consistency. It can be very long when hit well, however, I would say it lacks the forgiveness almost all recreational golfers would look for in a driver. I admit to a bit of a love-hate relationship with mine. I find it interesting that essentially no tour pros use this club. It is distinctly a different product altogether than the standard Hawkeye, and anyone looking at that club should not be biased my review of the Proseries. I would strongly recommend anyone looking at high-end drivers try the Taylor Made 300 series, as I've been thrilled with the distance, consistency, and forgiveness of my TM 320 S90. Hawkeye 9 degree with prolite 35 stiff shaft
Played Orlimar for one year but can't get consistent drive. After few lesson, my instructor recommand me to look for any driver with larger head for better forgiven. Got my Hawkeye with Grafalloy prolite35 stiff shaft from Ebay for $210. No more slice! hit 300 yards once a while, average 250. What a driver! Hawkeye Pro Seies 9.5*
I've been looking for a better driver and have gone through five in the last six months. Each one has been better than the last, so I know what I'm looking for: long distance and the feel of a Mizuno forged iron. I finally found it in the Pro Series. Knew it the first swing. Long, great feel at impact, powerful and accurate stock shaft, can turn it either way or hit dead straight: I nailed the 240 yard marker (a post!) at the range today twice in five swings. The feel is orgasmic and the stable shaft combined with the nice heft to the clubhead lets you swing harder and get more distance on command. Powerful, mid-low boring flight. Carries as far as my TM 320 9.5 but lower more powerful flight and then keeps power bouncing 40 more yards down the fairway. Way more stable clubhead and shaft than the hook-happy regular Hawkeye. Expensive but I'd buy it at three times the price. Getting harder to find as Calloway has discontinued it in favor of the VFT, which I have not hit yet. I do not like the ERCII, the feel is brittle and the sound terrible. Try a Pro Series before they are impossible to get. I can't imagine a better driver being made, unless it feels and performs like this and somehow carries even further. Similar Products Used: None |

Hawkeye 9*
This club is great in that my poor swings are high right, but in the fringe. My good swings are really good - nice trajectory and lots of roll. I've finally found my driver! The Ping TiSi was awesome, but a little too inconsistent. This driver makes me a better player - something none of the other drivers I have used do. Similar Products Used: I've hit a lot of clubs - Ping TiSi, Callaway, Orlimar, Cleveland QuadPro, Taylor Made Ti-Bubble 1 & 2, etc. |

Great club. To those who helped me in the 19th hole, I finally got a Hawkeye. Thanks for all the advice. I love this club, it is great. Easy to hit with good distance and accuracy. I have a 9 degree driver with a regular shaft. I also tried the stiff shaft, but I had difficulty with the accuracy since I had to swing a little faster. Overall, great club especially since it is cheaper now that stores are shipping in the new VFTs. Similar Products Used: None |

Great driver! I hit about twenty yards further with this driver. Love the way it feels. It also helps me draw the ball better. Similar Products Used: None |

Hawkeye Proseries 9.5
Big head and sweet spot gives me confidence in swinging, as compared to the smaller head and sweet spot of my old club, the original Big Bertha. I'm much longer than before, & can make the ball hook/draw now whereas before I saw a lot of slices/fades. There's a tinny sound at impact, but I'm used to it now. Hard to control trajectory though; ball balloons sometimes, sometimes it has a low, boring trajectory. Have to balance this review by saying that I haven't tried other similar clubs like the regular Hawkeye, the Titleist 975D, the Taylor Made Supersteel, the Hawkeye VFT, etc. But I have to admit that I am in the fairway more often than before, and it is reflected in my score. I still shoot in the 100s sometimes, but I've found myself in the high 90s more often now, and I credit this club for taking off those extra strokes and helping me break 100; it keeps me from adding those strokes that come from landing my tee-offs in the rough and being forced to punch out. But like I said, controlling trajectory is not easy to keep consistent even if the ball goes far. Similar Products Used: original 9.0 Big Bertha |

Awesome club. My 3w has the UltraLight Firm shaft. Great swing weight and balance. Consistently hit over 250yds. The one downside - Price! Take it to the range first and I'm sure you'll buy it. Similar Products Used: Taylor Made Bubble Burner |
