I bought this club 6 months ago. I love the look & feel of the club, I have a UST Proforce 65 shaft and an 11* loft. I still have my TM 320 and an old Titleist Howitzer, but I keep trying to hit the VFT! I never hooked the ball until now and I must say that when I do, it's very bad! If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate hearing from you. I don't really hit the ball any further, but it sure cured my slice! I'm 48 and have played for 2 years, I realize that the problem is the operator not the club. Customer Service not needed Similar Products Used: TaylorMade 320, Titleist Howitzer, AccuSteel, 975D |

I have always had high expectations of Callaway, and when the VFT came out they met them. Its long straight forgiving and i used to hit 240/250 now i hit 270/280 consistently. The sound is good and I would recommend this club to anyone. Mine has been robbed recently but there is no doubt that I will be buying another VFT |

I have long been an admirer of Callaway and when the Hawkeye VFT came out I had my expectations set high, and the VFT met them. Its long, straight and the sound is great. I used to hit 240 but now I'm hitting 270/280 consistantly. Similar Products Used: PING, Titleist, Taylor Made |

The HawkEyeVft is just the right club for anybody. It's sleek its forgiving and puts the ball where you want it. I have the pro series with an RCH90 firm flex shaft. I like this driver but callaway has came out with the Big Bertha 2 driver that also looks hot(for $399.99). So if you want somthing just as good get the HawkEye Vft. Similar Products Used: I have also tried the cleavland launchers wich are also very good,I would rate them a...4 out of 5 |

Hawk Eye VFT 10* Firm
I decided to give this driver a try after playing with a Steelhead Plus for about 6 months. Club works fine for me even with a 2 degree closed face. Distance is excellent even though the club sounds kind of muted. Ball flight is also on a boring trajectory even with 10 degrees of loft. I have not noticed much of a loss of distance on off-center hits although with this driver I am able to hit the sweetspot more consistently for some reason. Just to see if the closed face really makes a big difference I asked the local pro to hit it a couple of times so I could watch the flight pattern. His natural shot is a draw but he did not hit any big hooks with this club. He was even able to fade a few on command. Bottom line is that is you have a reasonably sound swing, you can hit most clubs well. All in all, a nicely constructed, good looking, well performing club. "upgraded" my bigest big bertha to the vft about 2 months ago and have noticed a big difference - for the better! although a little harder to fade/draw than the other model becasuse of the "hotter" face, the added distance more than makes up for it. This is my third Callaway and would never change to any other brand. Similar Products Used: titlesit 975/975j, mizuno t-zoid, bubble burner |

VFT Pro series 10.5, firm flex
I first bought the VFT 10 Firm flex and could not hit it at all. All shoots went left big time, and when I really went after one I got this ugly duck Hook! Tried to slow my swing down, ajust my stance every thing , still same results. Called callaway, and they sent me the Pro series 10.5 firm , what a difference! no more duck hooks, hell I even got a fade going now!If you tend to hook the ball, try the Pro series. Customer Service Great!! Thats all I have to say Similar Products Used: VFT, Deep Red, Taylormade 300, Clevand Launcher. |

Callaway Hawk Eye VFT
I purchased a Callaway Hawk Eye VFT stiff shaft club about a month ago and after 18 holes the club head broke off. Callaway sent me a brand new club within a week but after only 3 holes the head broke off again. If you purchase this club, I highly recommend putting a new shaft on it. |

Callaway VFT Pro 8.5 EI70-Tour Stiff
I bought the Pro version of this club, as the regular version tends to produce hooks. Man what a difference. This thing is a rocket. I have tested them all and I am regularly out there about 270 yards with this thing, in the fairway. No other driver was as long and consistent as this. The Taylor Made 360 caused too many hooks, and the 320 just was not as long or consistent. Same for the Cobra 350 and 427, Orlimar 420, and Yonex 350+. Get this driver in the pro series and have it reshafted with a premium shaft, and you will have a fantastic weapon! For reference, I am a weekend warrior who normally shoots in the mid 80's. I am 6'2" 220 pounds with a swing speed of 105-110 mph. Customer Service I had a GBB 4 wood with a scratched shaft - sent it to callaway and got a brand new System 60 shaft for free - can't beat that! Similar Products Used: you name it, I've tried it. I tried this at a demo day and found it to be a high quality club. I did find that it wasn't as easy to control as the Taylor Mades but for a higher hadicapper would be excellent. Once sweetspot is it has a very good sound. I would however recommend the Taylor Made 300 series. All in all a good quality club not worth the price though.
