Hit this side-by-side, each with at least 50 shots, with a TM 320 S-90, 9.5*. Both clubs are solid as a rock. No way either of these clubs is less than a four star in my mind.

TM is wider side to side, VFT is taller top to bottom. Both are extremely forgiving, both are very long. I might give the forgiveness edge to TM, and the length to VFT.

I like the shaft and grip better in the VFT. Shaft seems more stable.

Pick either one in my book. Trashing either one is entirely unwarranted. One star clubs should be reserved for the truly crappy. These both reflect leading edge technology and manufacturing technology.

I'm going to hit each one more time. They're that close in my book.

Customer Service

Haven't tried TM yet. Have used Callaway for re-shafting. Can't imagine how they can be any better. Very professional, polite, and responsive.

Just about everyting TM and Callaway have made in the last five years. Each of the above clubs are better than anything I've hit from these manufacturers.

A great driver for all levels, but make sure you test it before you go out and spend the $400. I hit the ball a lot better with this driver, about 10-15 yards farther with a slight draw. It is very easy to hit and is extremely forgiving. The famous Callaway sound is gone, with a more "thud" like sound at impact. Off center shots sound different, but travel long and straight. A great driver, but $400 is a LOT of money.

Customer Service

Very knowledgable and friendly. If there's a problem, they'll fix it immediately.

I love the feel and overall distance this club creates. An effortless swing can turn into a 260 yard drive. The ball just flies off of the face. The club also hits straighter on mis-hits. If you miss the sweet spot. It wont be that much shorter and still might stay within the fairway. Most forgiving club out there.

Well, what a club. I demoed it nicely, purchased it, went three rounds with it, and it got knocked out of my bag. I have now returned to an OLD hawkeye, which is far easier to swing, and get good results with. I can hit most drivers well, but this club would just not go. Even when hit sweet, this club seemed to go no where.

This is a good club. Altough I am still not certain if I liked my Titanium GBB WarBird better. Very close.

Customer Service

When I purchased this driver I could not hit it at all, about 170 yards and a duck hook into the ground. I had the shaft checked and it was not in specs. I called Callaway and they had me send it to them, They changed the regular flex shaft to a firm flex for free. I now hit it much better, about 240 yards and straight.

After reading previous reviews I could not believe how many people had difficulty hitting this driver! I think it's mostly due to the fact that hackers tend to go with the big names like Callaway first and then blame the club.

I hit the club about 15 times and hit the fairway everytime even with 1/2 of the swings being bad. I was surprised how forgiving the club was.

But $400 for a driver sucks! Although that's the going rate for most right now.

Don't like the feel and sound - it sounds like breaking something. However, very, very forgiving driver, even when I miss sweetspot. Distance is average. Produces acceptable results even for a serious mis-hit.

First let me start off by saying that any hi handicapper who cant hit this club at least somewhat good is probably lying to us and themselves about what they really shoot. Anyways about the club. And what a club it is. Its the Hawkeye VFT 8 degrees with a stiff Fujikura Vista 70 shaft. This combo easily added 10 yards over my Ping i3 driver with proforce 75 shaft. All you have to do is put a good swing on the ball and watch it fly. I dont even hit the sweetspot all the time and the club still puts it out there a ways. The shaft is amazing. Feels like an extra stiff more than a stiff. I also had no problem getting the 8 degree up in the air, like some others have had problems with. This club is also very very accurate. I hit 12/14 fairways today, and im usually not that consistant off the tee. Anyways try this club, you wont be sorry. Even more important you must try the shaft, its truly amazing! Good luck with your game.
