This is (for me) the best driver made until now.
But you got to get another shaft.
I changed my UL-Strong-shaft to a Grafalloy 3.5 Stiff (=X-stiff in a GBB-head), but changed it to a 3.5 Regular (= same flex as strong but less torque).
Now I´m in the middle and long (+290y).
Buy one! (If You can,-They are not made anymore)

This club is amazing for miss hits, you can hit the ball off the toe/heel and you still get a good 250 yards this is the best callaway driver ever made!!!!

OOHH YEAH!!! It sounds NICE, it FEELS GREAT and LOOKS PERFECT!!
The first hit i made with this club, the ball made sparks, litterally... It flew 270 yards straight as an arrow... And that sound....WOW... "Klangk" and the ball shoot off the face off the club, and go as far as i can see...

I think this driver is great. I did have a shaft break, but Callaway reshafted and refurbished the club at now cost. It is very staight and much more forgiving than the Ping TiSi, which only amplified draws and fades. I am hitting more fairways than ever with good distance. It was no mistake getting this driver.

I love this club! I also have a Wilson Deep Red that I got a good deal on. I thought that with all of the new advancements in club making that it would be better than my Callaway GBB 10 deg Warbird but I still find myself reaching into my bag and pulling out the GBB more times than the Deep Red. I know that alot of people are still looking for the perfect driver. If you get a chance to hit one of these you should give it a try. You can find these in the used bins at most of the golf stores for around $125-$200 but they are getting hard to find where I live because it seems that once you own one you don't want to let it go. You never know you might just like it better than the $350-$500 driver you went in to get, I know I do!

at first sweet. but after a while a little shaky. but long term a good club. the club's centre is big and you know when you hit it. I am flying objects off the tee with ease now and par 5's are a breeze. the other day in competition i played them in 4 under! good club but make sure you have i good sandwedge for the approach shots.

This club is a pleasure to hit !
Since I got it I've been 10-15 yds longer off the tee. I can now hit it up to 290 yds with a slight fade (pretty straight too). The prolite reg shaft is a bit hard to control sometimes, but I don't know what to reshaft with yet.

Ball comes off very hot and high, even when hit off the ground. Terrible shaft. I put a stiff UST Gold 65 shaft in and it made a big difference. Sounds great.

Model Reviewed: original pos shaft

Well...i had an 11 deg about a year ago and then broke it with a grafalloy shaft(temper problem) so I got an orlimar. I liked it for awhile then I tried this sucker back out. Even with the POS original callaway shaft I am hitting it a lot better than the Orlimar crap. I ordered an 8.5 deg with EI 70 stiff on ebay and am planning on launching it. I'll be selling my 11 deg on ebay..but GBB is a great club. I guess it remains at the top of the class with the 975d, tm 300 series, and mizuno forged. I also hear the wilson deep red is awesome, but havent hit it.

Customer Service

no, but i hear callaway replaces any broken shafts.

Model Reviewed: Callaway G.B.B. Warbird Driver 9 degree

I first tried this Driver because I used a Callaway Warbird 3 wood off the tee, and needed a little more yardage in my drives. So I borrowed my brother in laws driver and found that I could control and get good distance with the G.B.B. Driver. I found one on Ebay and purchased the driver without hestitation. I must admit the factory shaft is horrible and you must reshaft the driver to REALLY get the most out of the driver.. I reshafted with the Grafalloy prolite 35+ and now my drives are long and pretty straight. I'm sold on Callaway woods once you reshaft.. I would recommend this driver to anyone who is looking for a forgiving and easy driver to hit.
