Before I bought it I went to the Callaway site, read about it and listened to their clip. So I knew what to expect with the sound. It's light, I like the look, but still getting used to the feel. Swing easy, tee it up on the left and let it do its thing. I was using a BBB then ERCII and now this, distance has improved slightly but not so dramatic, I hit it long enough, what I wanted was consistency and so far so good. Just remember to swing easy and tee it up on the left, you can't possibly go wrong then.

Seriously weird club. The sound is like a wooden club, compared to my Tisi anyway. I felt in control with the C4 but I hit it about 30 yards further with the Tisi. Not as crap as some people here make out but not as reliable for an inconsistent player like me as a titanium whacker.

I have found the C4 to be the best driver I have ever owned. I have read so many negative reviews from top notch golfers, but this may not be the club for them. For those of us who struggle to break 100, this club is terrific. I not only get at least the same distance that I used to with my Great Big Bertha (and many times surpass it), but I never a really lousy shot. They are almost always in the fairway and therefore I approach every tee with a lot of confidence. Who cares what is sounds like when you hit it? Who cares what the headcover looks like? Is that what a rating is about? I was used to the sound of Titanium, but I got over it when I started to hit great shots. Also, I don't understand how anyone can give Callway a poor Customer Service rating. They are the best I've ever dealt with. If you are a really good golfer, this club may not be for you. But for those of us who need help, give it a try.

Customer Service

Callaway is the absolute best. They will do whatever it takes to keep the customer happy. They have reshafter a club 5 years later at no charge - even paid the shipping. I won't even shop another comp

Worst club, It is shown by no one on tour using it. I tried The Nike, Ping tisi, Titleist 975-fe, and Taylor Made 360ti. All were better than the c4 I especially liked the Titleist-fe and the Nike, at least someone on tour uses those. So Get the Nike or the Titleist!

Horrible Club! Everything about this club it bad! I bought it and returned it a week later! First of all it is way to light and the club gets lost in your swing. The club is also ugly with a mesh top and pieces of the head chip off after 1 round. Next the sound is bad it sounds like you are hitting an iron even when you hit the sweetspot. The distance is amoung the worst as well I know have the Nike and I am hitting 275-280 with the c4 I was hitting 190-200 if that!!! This club is amoung the worst at the setup as well and the shaft is 46 inches long forcing you to get under it often. Did I mention the headcover is the ugliest one i have ever seen it is just a black sock with a c4 logo on it. I have a Callaway Steelhead from 5 years ago that is 10 times better then the c4. Callaway has done a horrible job with this club. I reccomend you buy the club that is the winner of 3 of the last 4 majors, and it's the club that Woods and Duval play as well as only being 299.99. So go out ad get the Nike!!!!!

Have been trying numerous drivers for the past month. Tried the ping isitec, cobra ss350, calloway hawkeye vft and the c-4, .By far my least favorite was the c-4. ugly sound, doesnt set up well to the ball, difficult to work, especially to draw. Lost 20-30 yards average over the ping and cobra. Normally average 260-270 yds. Now that Im pushing 60 I need more help from the club than the c-4 can give me.

I have been playing golf seriously for about a year. I have under 20 rounds of 18 hole golf experience and I have to say that the Callaway C4 Driver is an unbelievable club. Some of you beginners may have a set of clubs you bought at Big 5. I bought a set of South Bay clubs which came with the woods for $200.00 on sale and the whole set of clubs are not worth the C4 by itself. I hit about an average of about 230 yds when I could make decent contact with the South Bay Driver. Now I hit an easy 250 yds and I am making consistent solid contact. My best shot so far after using the driver on two different courses has been 280yds. Even when I hit the ball on the toe of the face of the club the ball goes about 235 yds and it slices to the right hand side of the fairway. I am a right handed golfer and I did say fairway! There are no power shortages with this club. This compares me to not getting past the women's tee or ending up out of bounce because of such bad mis-hits. Let's just say that I cannot miss the ball. Actually I have not missed the ball once off the tee. It has to do with the weight, size, and shape of the club. I now legitimately give myself a chance to make it to the green in two shots on 400+ yd holes. I know this seems impossible due to my handicap. The greens are now in reach and I have to say hitting off the fairway is a privilege. That's what makes this product so valuable. My hitting off the tee has changed with a difference compared to day and night. I have much more fun even if I on my best day I barely break 100. I love it when my ball is sitting in the fairway next the guy who has been playing golf for years and he's forced to say "good hit!" Golf is about playing competitively. This club can make your day much more enjoyable and exciting. The Callaway C4 can help anybody if it can help me. If you are too good and oldschool to try out this new product you will be seeing me hacking my next shot near you soon. (I bought my club used and it was barley scratched on the bottom. I guess the poor soul who returned the driver did not know he need's to tee the ball up higher because of the oversized head. It also gave me the opportunity to buy it at half price.)

Customer Service

No comment. I have not had to utilize the service.

Takes a little getting use to, the sound is dead, it disappears in your backswing because it's so light. However, if those two things don't bother you, it's a great club. My only real complaint with these is, they chip. The face on mine chipped near the bottom. I talked to two other people who returned the club because of this. Maybe this is just a problem with the first generation of this product. If you buy it, keep your recipt and keep an eye on the face and make sure it's intact after every round.

Best Driver out there. Good set up, forgiving and long. Best I have ever seen or heard of who is any good thinks about "feedback" there are well hit shots and poor shots thats it. These hackers that talk aouit feedback this or fedback that seem to have such control of their game but can't break 90? They need to play more and run their mouths less. Lets review if you hook into trees = Bad feedback Slice out of Bounds = Bad Feedback Ball in Fairway = Good Feedback. the club has nothing to do with it. Stop buying drivers and go practice.

This is a great driver. Forgining and long. Sets up nice not for slicers. All this crap about feedback is B.S. what feedback do you need. If the ball hooks into the trees, that was a bad shot. Feed back is a b.s. thing. This is a great club Buy it and tee it high and you will hit it good if you have a decent swing. If you are a hacker you should go practice not keep trying new drivers. Besides if you shoot in the 90s your opinion is worthless you are not good enough to know a callaway club from a K-Mart club.
