It seems like there is a lot of unwarranted anger and flat out obnoxious comments coming from some people on this site. Let's not forget that Handicaps exist to even the playing field, and to make this game more fun for everyone. In addition, I'll bet that NOONE on this site is earning a living playing this game. That being said, every swing is individual, as are everyone’s tastes. If a player, regardless of their handicap doesn't find a club appealing, either aesthetically or performance wise, isn't that what this site is about??, OPINIONS!!! I found the C4 to be a forgiving club. If you have a higher swing speed, it can take a lot of getting used to, and the initial sound can be a little strange. I have not experienced any chipping or flaking because I only played twice with the club because it belongs to a friend, but I can see it happening if someone makes many mis-hits. If you are a high handicapper (18-30), this club will HELP keep it in the fairway. I do agree with one particularly nasty reviewer, who said the feedback should come from your ball flight. Don't buy any club expecting it to change your game, or add 70 yards to your tee shot, it's impossible. You have to buy what works for YOU!!!

The Big Bertha C-4 has to be the best driver I've ever played in my life. Its very easy to hit, and sets up well. The set up is very flat to the ball, no closed or open face... just very nice. The best part about the drives you get with this club is the Accuracy... even on mis-hits, you're still sitting 275 in the fairway. My most remarkable drive was on a 326yd. Par. 4, Flat... I bombed a perfect drive, landed short of the green and rolled off the backside. It was amazing! I highly reccomend this club to anyone wanting to shoot consistently in the fairway and pretty far too.

This has got to be the best driver I have ever hit. Just tried it at the callaway golf demo and love it. Have been hitting the hawkeye GBB, the ERC 2 and just recently purchase the taylormade R510. The C4 is way more forgiving and I was getting 280m average and on the fairway 80-90% of the time. Much more consistent than the ERC2 and the R510. Do yourself a favour buy the C4 but make sure you get the correct shaft flex.

I puchased the ERC and loved it. I returned it because of the USGA reversal and got the C4 without trying one out. I didn't think I was going to be as happy with the C4 as I was with the ERC11. My first round with the C4 I hit 17 out of 18 fairways. I was never able to accomplish this with the ERC. It is about 15 yards shorter but I feel that my handicap will be comming down with this club. Thanks Mike

Awesome club, don't be fooled by some of the feedabck out there by hacks who say there is bad "feedback" what-ever the hell that is. Look all the feedback you need is, if it is in the fairway or not. Nice club..fight off the urge to kill the ball with it, it is awful light. Show some restraint and you have a great club that can put the ball out there.

Without a doubt, the best driver I have ever tried! This club is forgiving and suited to my swing (fast). I hit between 280 and 300 yards consistantly and felt comfortable with the club. As far as the sound, I love it! It sounds like real wood! I give it top marks, period!

Have used a Steelhead (original) fairway wood for 4 years and wanted to get a driver of the same make. Too many people reviewing this club are marking it down because of the sound at impact, what does it matter wht it sounds like, i'm sure they said the same when the Titanium craze began. Hits the ball as long as any other driver I have used and gives a nice boring flight as well, I found it very easy to draw the ball with this club. Don't knock the C.4 until you try it. Interesting to note that a lot of tour pro's have switched to the C.4 from the ERC, do they think it's sub-standard ?

Christian must be an idot. Losing 80 yards with the C4? Hit 280 yds. on a drive but plays in the 90's? Must be a Nike rep. I have hit several drivers this month trying to decide whether to change or not. The C4 provides consistancy, but I found you will lose 15-20 yards from several other top drivers, not 80-100. But for golfers in the 90's and 100's, isn't 265 in the fairway better than 285 in the woods?

Customer Service

Excellent, I have been to a testing center where they evaluate your swing with cameras and computers and then recommend the shaft flexibity, lie angle, and length (they increased mine 1/2" for height)

Whats all the hype about this club? This is possibly the worst club i ever hit. It sounds horrible and feels horrible. The only thing the club has done for me is take my money.
