I got this driver in exchange(from Callaway)of my ERC II when it was deemed illegal by USGA and the R&A. I loved this club. It's straight and I have the same distance with it that I had with my ERC II. I find it easier to hit than the ERC II. The sound is weird but I like the long straight drives I get from it.

Customer Service

The best in the business by far. The exchanged my 7 month old ERC II for a brand new C4. In a time of economic crunch it's nice to see a big company still have a fantastic customer service department.

I did not want to like this club. I demo'ed on a lark when trying to decide between the Titleist 975 trio. My decision just got harder. I love the sound. I love the feel. Instead of C4(implies explosive) Callaway should have named it the B-2, which is the code number for the Stealth Bomber The C4 is quite forgiving and much easier to hit than my Callaway ERC

Customer Service

Callaway is the best. Ask anyone who has dealt with them.

I purchase a C4 for my wife and she loved the club. 10 months later the shaft snapped at the hosel. Phoned Callaway, they shipped immediately at no charge, a new one. However +- 1 month later the shaft snapped at the hosel again! Once I would have accepted as chance, but looking at the shaft I'm not sure!

As far as I can see there's been a fair amount of crap written about looks and sound. If a driver looked like a housebrick on a broomstick and sounded like a cracked bell but got me consistently 260+yds down the fairway I'd use it.Fortunately in my opinion the Callaway C4 looks and sounds OK and still gets me consistently 260+yds down the fairway. Also I've not noticed any real loss of distance so it isn't really an issue, but I do know that I'd rather be 10 yds shorter on the fairway than 10yds further in the trees. The C4 is without doubt the most forgiving driver I've used. But as always don't listen to what other people say try it for yourself and make you own mind up.

The C4 has cut 5 strokes off my game. I went from driving from an average of 280 yards to 300 yards with my new C4. My shots are straighter and longer.

Customer Service

Golf USA in Lawrence Kansas has excellent customer service! I would recommend to anyone!

Best driver Ive had. I had a Great Big Bertha prior to this, They are about the same distance, the C4 is more forgiving and inspires more confidence that I can swing a bit faster gaining a few distance against the GBB. The loft and shaft complements my swing speed which is a bit slow and I average 210 to 230 yards hit the fairway easily. This also has light but very balance feel and in my opinion the feel is better compared to titanium.

It is the end of the golf season here in Minnesota and I have been on a hunt for a new driver for the past 6 weeks. A Nevada Bob's has let me take out a different demo driver every Saturday and a different demo driver every Sunday for the past 6 weeks. I hit about 8 different drivers 18 holes each. Taylor Made 300, 360, 580, Titleist J, Zevo Compressor, Wilson Deep Red 365 and 425, Cobra 427 and the Callaway C4. I was not a Callaway fan and have never bought any of their products basically because of their appeal to the masses and alot of people I know play their products. I like to be different. I play to about a 9 handicap and have a tendency to fade and slice the ball. I have a swing speed of 95-100 mph and average about 265 off the tee and hit about 60% fairways. Of all the drivers I tested..The Taylor Made 580 was the longest, followed closely by the Cobra 427.The most accurate and forgiving driver by far was the C4. I was 10-15 yds shorter at times but hit every fairway in 3 different rounds !! I'll take the loss of distance for the accuracy anyday. The C4 is the most forgving driver I ever hit...Period. I have more confidence off the tee then I ever have. This driver and the technology that went into it are not hype...it is extremely accurate, straight and forgiving !! As for the sound ..I grew up playing persimmon woods and thats what the C4 feels and sounds like to me. I got a great deal on a next to new demo at Nevada Bob's and am now a Callaway Fan ! Do yourself a favor and Demo this club and not in a simulator.

Customer Service

I have been a callaway user since i started playing. I have always updated my driver with the latest. I am using a great big bertha II driver in lieu of the callaway c4 which i traded in because it was the shortest driver i have ever used aside from the dull sound it creates on impact.

I absolutely love this club. The sound is remarkable when the ball explodes off of the head of the club. I had about six guys at the driving range asking if they could hit it and they were equally impressed with the forgiveness this club gives you.

I wouldn't leave home without it! Although it won't give you 20 yds more,it keeps you on the short grass most of the time. It's not a magic club, you still need to practice a lot with it, but for sure it won't disappoint ya! I sure like this driver and i won more bets than ever....go ahead and give it a shot!
