I just purchased this club (used Demo) from a good friend of mine. He said he prefers the Taylormade 360/500 drivers, so he was willing to let his slightly used C4 for $120 to me. Damn! I just came home from the driving range and I've never hit drives like that before... 250 to 280 yards long! Mostly straight down and middle, and high and long! I've averaged between 220 and 240 yards with my other driver, so you could imagine my disbelief... Can't wait to take it on the course.

Being only 15, I bought this driver looking for more distance. I was a little disappointed, however, when I never gained a yard. What I got though was better. The very first time I ever hit it was on the course, no range or practice. I blasted the drive 265+ just down the right side of the fairway! I like that it is more accurate and I didn't really loose distance. The sound, which is what everybody is commplaining about, is not bad sounding, just dull. Go find a persimmon wood, bounce ball of the face and you will hear what it sounds like. DO NOT BUY IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR DISTANCE, BUT IF YOU WANT ACCURACY, THIS IS THE CLUB FOR YO

Very forgiving club. 90% of my drives are straight. Only time that I hit a wayward shot is when I try to overpower the ball. I have a low flight tendency, but with this club the flight is much higher. If I would have realized that the flight trajectory would be much higher I would have opted for a lower loft in order to get more distance.

Customer Service

Have never needed it. Clubs have always remained in good condition

This is one of the staightest clubs ive hit. I hit the ball staight 95% of the time anyway but when i do have a mis-hit the forgiveness keeps my ball to where i can recover and still make par. I hit the ball just as far as i do with other drivers ive hit. I havnt noticed any cracking or peeling on the club face like others have complained of but ive only had the c4 for about a year. I want to try the new bb 2 sometime soon but for now im happy w/ the c4. the sound doesnt bother me because its different and it doesnt have to make a "ping" noise to be a good club.

I have a question...what's the difference about the sound. If my driver made a screech every time I hit the ball, but still helped my score..I'd keep it! I am not a long hitter and have a handicapp of about 12. This club has really helped my consistency hitting the fairway. It is the most FORGIVING club i have ever used. You have to get used to it. You can't take a demo hit 5 balls with it and say you hate it. It looks great, plays great, and sets up great. I have confidence pulling the driver out even with hazards lurking right by the fairway. Overall the best driver I have ever played with. So if you are a high or mid handicapper, but want to keep your precious titanium "cling".....your loss...

Customer Service

Callaway is absolutely the best there is.

Model Reviewed: C4 10-degrees, regular flex

Looks like the Stealth Bomber although not quite as sleek. Very light and well-balanced. With an easy swing, this driver is very long - easily 20 meteres further for me. If I tee it up a little higher and forward in my stance, and swing a tad faster, I get a very controlled fade. Used to hate dog-leg rights due to my natural draw - now I love them ! This is probably due to the face being more square than previous closed-face Callaways. The sound ? Don't understand why golfers are so obsessed about wanting to hear a "piiing" from their drivers. The C4 sounds like a very loud slap and I think it's cool, especially when I look up and see the ball shooting off like a meteor. The ball trajectory seems higher than other drivers of the same loft, even other Callaways. Probably due to a different flex-point on the shaft. The shaft has awesome feel ! Overall, a very very long driver and as forgiving as the Hawkeye.

Customer Service

Poor - they never reply international e-mails. the local agent here is great though.

Woah if you can give this club a shot! Or 2 or 3! hehe I really like being able to take an easy swing and get the ball in play. Its really going to help my game. Is it still considered buying a good game if you get the club at a awesome deal? =)

Customer Service

No idea, I hear good things though

I had tried the Big Red, Cleveland, and a few Calloway models. The C-4 is by far the most forgiving, AND - I gained 20+ yards. It's nice to be hitting more short irons into greens and have a chance to reach the Par 5's in two!
