6 Rounds and 5 hours of range time logged thus far. I agree on the unusual sound of this club. It sounds like a wooden bat hitting a tree. But better than the headachy, loud metallic ring of others. That said, it is astonishingly forgiving and long. I've never been a long hitter. (7 iron 150) It's seems to correct both draw and fade. All drivers are great when the hot spot is hit square, but better misses are what this game is all about. I've always said, don't try to buy your game and I stand by it. It's not the rifle, it's the rifleman. But this is more than a slight improvement in technology. I'm getting away with tee shot murder. Sell a kidney, sell your kids. Get this! Definately the best driver I have tried this year! I have owned the TM R5N, Ping G2, and the BB 454 and have settled on this one. The R5N felt dead with no pop off the face and the G2 was wildly inaccurate. I still have the 454 as a backup since the distance is close but I'm not quite as accurate with it as the FT-3. I have heard some complain about the sound but I like it. It isn't as loud as some of the other big TI drivers but sometimes I find that distracting. It still has a loud TI crack if you hit solid in the sweet spot. The best thing I like about this driver is the harder I swing the straighter the ball goes, and with the accuracy built in I now have the confidence to do so! Customer Service Haven't had to use. MIndbendingly long on the range and forgiving. Visually not the easiest club to get set around. Really like the TM R5 in that respect. Remains to be seen in play. I'll keep you posted |

I wrote a review the other day about this driver. This is an update. This thing is incredible. I hit a drive that ended up 290 uphill today. I am cranking this driver long and straight. I am out driving my friends, and I have always been the short one. I don't care what it sounds like, go hit this driver. My partner said, if I ever get ride of this driver, he will quit being my partner. TRY IT, YOU WILL LIKE IT!!!!!!! Customer Service N/A Similar Products Used: See prior review |

I was at the driving range and apparently I hit the heel of a J2h2 used driver and well needless to say it f broke off. So i went out and got some cash and shelled out $400 dollars but by god it was worth every penny. My drives are going straighter and are going 50 yards longer. I can't wait to play in my next tournament with this wonderful club |

I purchased the fusion irons and LOVE them soooo much, I had to buy the driver. I went to the range today and was hitting the ball over the net at the 250 Yd. marker. It carries so long and goes so high that it looks like it will ever come down. I played a round with my best friend, and he said of the 25 drivers I have had in the past 20 years, this is without a doubt the best I have hit. It goes long and straight. Even on miss hits, it still goes. Can still go right or left. I seem to hit a slight draw with it. I played a Quad 7 which I liked and hit well, but I never hit it over the 250 Yd. net, no matter how well I struct It. I love this driver. I bought the 3 & 5 Woods also. These fusion clubs are GREAT. I will keep these for a long time. Customer Service Haven't had to use them. Similar Products Used: Quad 7 & Ping |

I have been used R580 about 2 years. I was looking for new driver from 1 month ago. I tryed several driver at pro shop, for example ping 460. king cobra 460, r5, cleveland comp 460. I decided FT-3 finally and baught it last friday. I tryed it last weekend(saturday & sunday) at near golf course. I think it is very good driver - forgiveness and distance. But sound is not good. Anyway strength point wil make up bad sound. Similar Products Used: r580 |

This is probably the strangest driver I've ever hit. As one of the previous reviewers said, this driver makes the craziest 'thunk' sound I've ever heard! Truly weird! I work at a major golf retailer, I've tried many, many drivers, this isn't a bad club. At the PGA Juniors today I tried it out on the range. Positives: Forgiving, better than any Cobra. Decent distance. Negatives: The God-awful THUNK! But hey, if you can live with that and can keep it straight, this may be your club. It looks cool. Much better than the old Sorenstam ERC piece of junk! I'll tell you what, Phil's been doing worse(ok, better than most, but awful for him lately). He's the man promoting this club, period. If he fails and feels he made a big mistake endorsing this monster ship, it will sink. Kudos for the $399 price tag, but it's still too much. Better than the $599 R5 TP that's for sure. Overall, a decent club. For my money, I'd buy the Ping G2 over this and save $100. Customer Service none. Similar Products Used: Ping G2, Cobra 460, Mac Magtec, Taylor R5. |

This Club is amazing. Very low spin. Anyone that says that this club costs them distance over the 454 is absolutely nuts. As far as the sound, who cares to you drive for sound or results. All of the Callaway haters can cry and lie all they want this is the best driver ever made. Callaway failed again on this fusion model. Not longer than my 454 and the sound is awfull. I really dont understand why they stick to that comp technology. It doesnt work on the 460comp at Cleveland and it doesnt work on the 460comp or the 454comp at Cobra. Both models are longer and the sound at impact is better on their original model. I will keep the 454 in the bag for now. I wont drive shorter with the Fusion...why should I!!! Similar Products Used: Cleveland 460comp, Cobra 454comp and 460comp |
