The feel around and on the green is just great. For me the ball goes too high and so I loose distance specially in windy conditions, so I will stay with my U-Tri Tour.

Found one on the course last week and used it on the next tee. WOW. Played the rest of the holes (13) with it and never looked back. This ball is everything the big names are and more. Well, less really $$$. Pick aup a sleeve and see for yourself. I picked up a sleve of these and the px3 which is their performance ball. Man it performs well. Great ball!!!

I just finished my first round with this ball and I have to say that I've found a new favorite. It explodes off the tee and is LONG. I'm not sure if it's the dimple pattern, the four layers, the materials or just a combination of all of the above. Further, I don't really care. I just know that it flies straight and true. And, with a well struck approach shot, it checks up on the greens wonderfully. It also reponds very well to the putter and (assuming you've lined it up correctly) goes to the hole like scared rabbit running home. The clincher for me, however, is the $30 price. They are $10 less than the Callaway HX, Pro-V1, Bridgestone B330, etc. and perform just as well, if not better. The unfortunate thing for Wilson however, is that they don't have the cache that the Pro-V1 snobs are looking for because of their limited market-share. Just means more for me - at $10 less a dozen. Highly Recommended.

I read the other review... and yes I too have seen the same dimple pattern.. It wa son a Srixon made XX10 ball which is a long ... long sucker. The Tx4 is a much better ball. It seems to have all the attributes that someone who wants a lively ball with plenty of feel would want. It spins off wedges, has really stable flight off mid Irons, is long off the driver and putts nice and true. Overall it is a pretty good ball. I would say this is your classic dark horse ball... not many people will use it as Wilson don't have much market share ... but that won't stop you from playing really well with it come Saturday. It has unusual sound characteristics which are actually quite satisfying.. it has a a real crack when hit hard with a long Iron.. the kind that makes you sound a bit better than you really are... I also has a dull soft sound off the half hit wedges ..... when you lift you head and see the results you realise that was the sound of success!! I would say it is a bit more hard wearing than the Pro V1 and Callaway HX range range but you can still peel the cover off the ball. I would say it lasts a round but two rounds would be pushing it.

These balls are like No other. The dimple patterns are super huge, but not so unique. A friend of mine plays a Japanese imported ball which looks exactly like this one. I played a round this morning using one TX4. It had very little, to no scuffing. It surprised me because the dimples are so pretty, that I thought they'd get all tore up. As of this day, I am no longer going to buy Pro V's. The ball dances around the green, and can stop on a dime. I've gained 15 yards on my drives, yet my iron yardage stayed the same. I like these new Wilson's and I highly recommend buying them.
