Longer, straighter, as much/more SW spin than/as Pro V1. I'm switching.

I bought a dozen of these balls mostly out of curiousity and have been well pleased. They drive fairly well off of the tee and do not tend to over spin and tail off like some distance balls tend to do. Also, it was not hard as a rock like some of the newer titanium balls feel. Where I have begun to really enjoy this ball is from about 100 yrds out onto the green. The spin is surprisingly consistant with great control overall. I shoot in the 90''''s , so when I get a good back up on the green, I am happy and with this ball it is almost a regular occurance if the greens are in good shape. Good overall ball for driving, approach shots and putting. Wish the cost was $10 less per box.

I have played quite a few 3 piece balls, Maxfli Tour Patriots, and Revolutions being the two main balls, I have played this year. The i Wound putted more consistantly, and has better overall feel, with slightly better distance on all clubs.

All I can say is that this ball is very disapointing.

The distance of this ball is big, very similar to a rock hard distance ball, and not suprising the ball played exactly like a rock hard distance ball.

They claim the spin and feel of a wound ball, but this ball had a very low spin rate on iron shots, and felt like a range ball.

This ball is crap!

Overall, this is an excellent ball. a little above-average length, but good trajectory with excellent spin. Ball has exceptional feel and putts well. Unlike, Nike Tour Accuracy, I think any handicap could use this ball. One potential drawback besides the price, ball had some minor scuffing after one round.

These balls are a nightmare in the wind. I played the Ocean Course at Kiawah Island and I watched three of these balls balloon straight up and then sail like a frisbee fifty yards offline. We started calling them eye wounds because they make you want to scratch your eyes out watching them ride the wind out of bounds. I switched to a Slazenger Players 90 and was amazed at how much better it was in the wind. It held its line and stayed low with a lot of spin.

Customer Service

They should include a blindfold with every dozen!

To say the least these balls are probably the best unknown ball out there. The distance, feel, and spin combination make this ball the best of both worlds. Not only does it hit well off the tee but it also gives you very good control around the greens. If you havent tried them DO! you wont regret it.

Well, I tried out a lot of those premium golf balls out there on the market such as Strata's Nike, Titlest, etc..but I was drawn by the praise that my fellow golfing buddies gave to these. We went to play a round and the told me about them once again so I bought a sleeve at the pro shop there. From when I first hit, it felt solid, I got great distance of the ball, but when it came to short game, that's where I was disappointed. I've been using Precept for a while and these were hard compared to those. I didn't really like the feel I got off my putter and while I chipped but aside from that, this is a great ball to buy. I'd suggest that golfers who have a slow swing speed to stay away from this ball though.

I have been playing high spin balls like revolutions. I recently decided to try out some of the "new generation" of balls that claim to offer both spin and distance. So I have been trying the Strata Tour Ultimate, Pro VI and the iWound. Overall I like the iWound. It has better distance than a revolution but not quite as much spin. That's a fair tradeoff for me since sometimes I got too much spin from the revolutions. I would say the iwound if is a very solid all round ball offering above average distance and moderately good spin. The Pro VI is just awful by comparison. The Tour Ultimate is slightly longer and spins slightly more, but I prefer the iWound trajectory to that of the Tour Ultimate -- the Tour Ulimate ballons a little especially with short irons, whereas the iWound has a nice piercing trajectory. My only complaint about the ball is the price.
