I can't believe I have to say "I'm playing a Top-Flite Tour with a red dot" on the first tee of a tournament, but after trying this ball that is all I will be saying this year. This ball plays great. The feel is a little soft compared to the Pro V1 (especially the Pro V1x) on full shots, but is every bit as far. This ball really shines around the greens..... a Top-Flite with spin??? Yes, I was shocked too, but this ball has the same cover as the higher priced Strata balls. The only difference between this ball and the Strata Tour Ultimate Plus is that it doesn't have the tungsten "energy" core (superflous marketing in my opinion). The only shortcoming is the cover durability. Much like the Stratas, this cover shreds when struck with full wedge shots, but at $19.99 a dozen, it is more than worth it. This ball rocks! Kudos to Top-Flite, keep these balls in production!

These balls are excellent for a person that wants premium performance without the premium price. Feel similar to the original Strata Tour Professional, with a slightly harder feel. Distance off the woods was comparable to the Pro V1. Spin rate was comparable to the Pro V1 star. I did not experience problems with durability.

A great ball at a great price. It compares to a lot of premium balls out there but almost half the price. It putts very well and the distance is what you expect. It spins off the short irons well. My only complain would be that its not that durable. Maybe its because of the U grooves off my irons. In any case, its still a great ball.

Great ball!! One of the best I have played. I can't realy comment on distance because I'm never too consistant, but I've hit some really long ones with this ball, so I know they're capable if being hit very far. Yes, the cover shreds a little easy, but that means the ball is doing it's job in the green-holding dept. At $20 a dozen I just don't care. "Next ball with teeth please!" I've hit half wedge shots that have backed up 18" with ease. This ball has outstanding feel as well, - not a "Rock Flite" of yore.

This is the perfect compromise ball for players that want premium ball performance at budget ball prices. This ball is 95% of the Hogan or Pro V1, but at 5 bucks a sleeve, is half the price of either. I love the way this balls feels from tee to green, and I'm not so worried about losing one that I make a tentative swing when hitting over a hazard. If you haven't tried this one yet and you want to save a few bucks, give it a shot.

Great ball at an even better price. This is a 3 piece ball that has very similar characterizes as the $40 tour balls. The difference with this ball and the Titleist Pro V1 are nominal. The design minimizes spin on long clubs and drivers, but give the ball a nice spin rate with a short irons. It also has a nice feel on the green. The balls I bought at Target were marked as "Tour ML". I contacted Top-Flite, and they said that this ball is the same as the "Tour" ball. The ML just stands for Multi-Layer.

Customer Service

Nice fast response from a Top-Flite representative when I sent an email to them from their web site.

Very good ball, especially for the price. Distance off the driver is good, without too much sidespin, and it putts exceptionally well. Reminds me a lot on the greens of the Strata Tour Professional, which is really not surprising since both balls are Spalding products.
