Great Ball, but cover seems to shear off after a couple iron shots. Seems like I was having to rub the flakes off all the time.

Not that this is news to most golfers, but thanks to Callaway, and a few others, the disposable golf club market has hit the golf ball market too. Surely, next weeks golf ball model will be better than this weeks!! Here we have Top flite who once again appeals to the frugal golfer as well the golfer who doesn't buy into all the hype or the price=performance formula. Now the review: This ball reminds me of the original top-flite tour z-balata vs. titleist professional at the time. Attention everyone!! Z-balata wins. Identical performance, half the price. Here again we have the new top flite tour versus the latest greatest titleist/nike/callaway/precept/nuclear covered moon ball. Attention!!!! The top flite is long. It spins. It feels good. It is $19.99 It wins again by a large margin

This ball has all the features; soft cover, three piece construction, and a soft core. I tried them side by side to some 45.00 dollar balls and they were just as good. They go a good piece and stop on a dime. Never again spend more on balls than your green fee!

reliable spin and distance . i've had no problem with shredding , just the oppisite . no problem with durability or working the ball with the wind .decent putting ball , excellent chipping and pitching . If they only came in yellow i wouldn't have to switch to pinnacles at dusk. best value since steak night at the sizzler .

Ball is easily 15 yards longer for me off the tee with any wood. Short irons climb & drop like a feather on the green. This ball is the best value I have found.Cover scuffs up nearly as easily as an ML Balata.

Good distance of the tee. Excellent soft feel on all iron shots. The ball seems to drop and stop on the green. Very good feel on putting. I have used 6 balls and have cut 1 with a wedge.

As I golfed with this ball I felt a new aspect to my game or maybe it was the extra money in my wallet. When I was playing with this ball every shot felt good and it resemble the Pro V1. I have always golfed Top Flite but earlier this year I switched to Titleist. Then i received The Top Flite tour as a gift and believe me when I say this it was Titleist mixed with Top flite. You get the feel of titleist and the distance of old top flites. I reccomend this for anyone who wants to golf the pro v1 and does have the $, heck even if you do have the $, get the Top Flite Tour anyways.

As good as many balls that cost twice as much and better than most of the others. Good distance, but not exceptional. Really good spin, even on the short delicate chips and pitches. It will shred under full wedge shots but at this price that is no big deal. This ball is a lot of fun to play.

Good distance with the ball off the driver and woods. I like the drop and stop feel of this ball. Seems to check up on greens like balls twice as expensive. My only complaint is that a solid wedge shot into the green tends to shred the cover easily. I would give it a full 5 star rating if only the cover did not shred as easily. But for the price, it is a remarkable ball to play with. Soft feel off irons and woods make it quite enjoyable to play with.

This is the best ball Top Flite has ever made. It is even better than Strata tour pro which I used to use. I have gained 10 yards over any ball I have used to date and it stops in its tracks on the greens. Today at my home course, I missed on the back of the green with my Cleveland 52 degree wedge and when it hit the fringe on the back side of the green, the ball spun 8 feet onto the green! If you are looking for a superb all around ball, give these a try. As a bonus, these are only about twenty dollars a dozen, an excellent value for a first rate ball.
