I've played several brands and types of balls. I never thought the ball had much to do with quality of game, then for curiosity I played a whole round with the tour balata 90's. I usually shoot in the mid-80's, but that day I used the tour balata 90's I fired in a "77". I now say the ball you play does have a little to do with your score. I wasn't quite as long off the tee but when I missed the middle of the fairway, the spin from the ball kept me from the woods, water, and other hazards. I picked up the strokes around the green and with the short iron shots. The ball feels wonderful off the putter. Great product but a little pricey!!! You get what you pay for!!!!!!

Unless mis-hit, these balls are more prone to lose their shape than become cut and nicked up. I have found that after approximately 20 full shots, these balls will no longer pass freely through a caliper ring. If you have the $ means to relaod every 6-7 holes, this is the ball for you.

Out of the box, easily the best ball every made.

By the turn, it starts to resemble something a chicken might produce.

After putting out on 18, I defy you to get it back in the box.

People say that they lose about 3 yards of distance and that kind of stuff. How could you tell that? It's not like you hit the ball exactly the same place every shot. Even if you do lose a little distance what would you prefer?
Hit the ball to about 70 metres to the pin with a normal ball and roll over the back or hit a tour balata at the hole and stop it in less than 2 metres?I normaly use a Titliest Tour Balata 100. it has the best feel to it. it doesn't lose any distance, well sometimes it goes further or a little shorter. not much difference.
People also said that it scuffs up too easily in like 2 holes. i think that is not true. if it scuffs up that easily you are a very bad golfer. if you hit the ball clean without getting it skinny it will be fine. for me this ball normaly last for 2 rounds. well i use it for a lot longer normaly. it is my favorite ball. The other day for the pennant team we played at metropolitan. it was a tough match. we were all square until the last hole. he hit about a 6 iron to the green. it checked up about 2 metres from he hole. he was using the ssame ball as well. just different numbers. i hit a 6 iron also. it bounced about a metre behind the hole and spun back to about 3 inches. there was a big gallery. he gave me mine and he missed his because he wasn't too strong against pressure.
Putting with these balls you can smash it at the hole. they have the softest feel. i am very confident with this ball. if you hit it good its the best ball in the world and it doesn't scuff up easily. doesn't lose distance.
just hit the ball well and you will know how good this ball is. i won a dozen of these balls using a tour balata in the competition.

This Ball spins like crazy, I use them only on courses with brutally hard greens.
If you hit one onto a soft green there is way too much spin. Also you can only hit
about 5 or 6 wedge shots before its scared too much to continue play.

Hey it does what it claims.

This is a great ball. The cover is soft, I lose about 15yrds off the tee and about 5 yrds off my iorns. Thats ok because they putt and chip so good. Also the shorter distance keeps me out of the woods . I would rather use them as practise balls or even throw them away than lose them. The best ball made for long hitters, though short knockers may not like them. HDCP 10

Great ball for high spin, must be a solid ball striker for these baby's, no loss of distance on solid strikes but massive loss on bad shots, a must for southern greens "to hold them that is" good value when playing for cash, but practice rounds use the pro.model ,For good ball strikers only

I hit the ball long and have a high swing speed which, combined with this ball, is great. I play on courses with hard greens and, sometimes, when it's 25 degrees out. With this ball I can still hold the green. There are some disadvantages. Being as it can sometimes spin way to much on soft greens and hard greens. Also, it really dosen't last more than one round. Off the tee distance is lost-around ten yards. Overall, it is one of the best soft balatas on the market.

These spin like no other, go of average distance, and putt great, BUT THEY are the most undurable ball ive ever played, and ive played em' all, i used 6 in one round, i usually use 2-3 stratas professsionals /round, if u can afford a dozen very 2 rounds than they are one of the best u can play

Very good ball all around. Great feel around the green with some good distance. Great tee shots if you dont slice too bad though I managed to control it well with this ball. Very durable as well.
