Titleist DT Solo Balls

Titleist DT Solo Balls

DESCRIPTION

The New Titleist DT SoLo features a soft compression, high velocity core and a soft Surlyn blend cover. This combination provides lower driver spin for long distance off the tee. The very low spin also helps golfers to minimize unintentional hook and slice sidespin for straighter distance. Unlike many other low spin distance golf balls, the DT SoLo still provides soft feel on all shots tee-to-green.

This ball is actually worth the price. Have played almost all Titleist (including Pro V's) and Nike balls, and this is the best for me. A little longer, little straighter, and little cheaper. This ball will hit and stop on shots into the green. HUGE advantage over other "distance" balls.

Very nice ball in the "low compression" family. Good distance and spin characteristics. Durable cover, but plenty of feel. Try the "trial" pack @ $1/ball. Good alternative to Precept Lady, Laddie, etc.

This ball is pretty sweet! Its not a proV1 or a hogan apex tour but its definately more worth its money. If you hit a bad shot with this its definately nothing that had to do with the ball. feels soft and spins well off short irons and straight off tee (even for my swing).

this is a great ball for the money. i love the pro v1*, but at $4/ball, a high handicapper like myself is paying more than he's getting. i tried the solo from the $1/ball display and got my money's worth and then some. long off the tee, and great feel around the green. the balls are pretty well bullet-proof too, not easily scuffed and impossible to cut. definitely the best bang for the buck i've found.

I never really thought a golf ball would do anything to improve my game. I thought it was just a big gimmick - whether to choose Titanium, Distance, Extra Distance, Soft Compression Core, Mid Compression Core, Ionomer cover, Titanium Cover, etc... (you all get the pint) - choosing a ball can be pretty confusing. Anyhow, I got the Titleist DT Solo for $1.00 each in special trial sleeves. I must say that these balls are very soft and very long. I usually hit my 9 iron 120-125 yards or so. With this ball I'm now hitting 129-135 on a consistent basis. These are so much better in every way compared to the Top Flite XL 2000 Super Titanium I was using (which I won't be using again). If you look around you can find these on special for $1 each - most stores/pro shops that carry titleist should have the special display set out.

very good ball. to all those who are paying more than double for the pro v1x just buy a sleeve of the so-lo and give it a try. it's long, stops on full shots and performs just as well on little pinches and half shots as the x. if you want spin stick with the pro v1
