I agree with the other reviews that for me (a 15 handicap) this ball plays as well as Pro V1. While the retail price is just a little less than ProV1, it is not as well known a a brand so if you go to a well-stocked shop with re-loads, the price for Srixon-including the Z_URS is much less--I actually got a dozen for $6 each. |

I play in the upper 70's and lower 80's. This winter I went south for a vacation and decided to bring the clubs along so I could get out while the wife was with the little ones. I was looking for balls online and found these on special for 19.99/doz. and grabbed them up. My drives saw no noticeable change while around the green I felt very comfortable with the feel. For the price I decided to buy 4 dozen more. I would have to say this is the best deal that I have found yet in golf equipment. Similar Products Used: Pro v's Brigdestone 330's |

I picked up a sleeve of these to compare with the Pro V 1. I see no noticable difference between these and the Pro V's. I can get the same distance and the same "bite" with the Srixon. Do yourself a favor and give a sleeve a try. You won't be disappointed! Customer Service N'A Similar Products Used: You name it LOL |

I haven't kept a handicap in the past 5 years, but held an 8 for quite awhile prior. I've never been one to spend a lot of money for premium golf balls, as I've never wanted that to enter into my thinking while standing over a shot with hazards in the way. I've never bought a new Pro V1 that I can recall, but I've played plenty I've found along the journey. Recently, while preparing to vacation in Myrtle Beach, I bought 4 dozen Srixon Z-URS on the Web for an attractive price, relatively speaking. I've never been more confident in my golf ball. I love the distance/control combination. I'm 52, out of shape, but I'm outdriving almost anything I've done in previous seasons, really. Now, if I could learn to hit my short shots, as I all too often crush a drive, only to hit my 8, 9 or wedge fat. This ball flies, rolls and bites. I've been playing for 40 years plus and I've never repaired so many marks, right by or in front of my approach shots... when I hit them. I chose the Srixon because I love to pull for the underdog and the big "T" simply doesn't need any more patrons. I have noticed more and more contenders with the Srixon logo or ball in play on the Tour, but I play it in spite of it's nearly anonymous status. It's affordable, effective and I get more than a round per ball, which means durability to me. If I were making a living at this crazy game, I'd still be playing Srixon. I'm done playing the balls I find. Now I bring them home for the boys to play! Similar Products Used: Pro V1, Callaway, Taylormade, Precept and Bridgestone. |

A good ball. Strengths- solid distance especially for us 80s and 90s shooters with slightly slower speeds and good bite on irons 6-PW. Easy to putt with, good soft feel.

Great golf ball! This ball flies ten yards farther with all clubs, and feels great around the greens chipping and putting. I would stack this ball up against any ball on the market. This ball is recomended for players with swing speeds of 80mph or higher. Would highly recomend this ball to any one that plays tour caliber balls right now. |

I play gold during the summer about once a week and my iron game is starting to get a lot better and thus my search was on to find the "right" golf ball for me.

As long and consistent as any premium ball I've played. Started with the Z-UR but switched to the URS model because it is softer around the green and spins very well. In fact, it is this balls ability to fly straight and spin when you need it that won me over.

srixon zur-s
The zur-s is a great ball. This ball feels a little firmer than some but is definitely softer than the zur - more in line with the titleist nxt tour. This ball is as long as any ball out there, and i believe that the sound the slightly firmer feel produces builds confidence off the tee. I started using this ball as i loved the ad333 but it tended to balloon on drives so i was looking for a ball with a lower ball flight. The zur-s produces a penetrating flight on all shots but still stops quickly on shots around the green. It feels good and rolls true on putts also. All up i believe it is one of the better balls out there. Customer Service n/a Similar Products Used: maxfli rev tour, nxt tour, strata tl tour |
