Bought a dozen of these after reading all of the positive reviews. I agree with most of the comments, it is very long and straight and feels good off the irons, but and it is a big but, I can't putt with it, it seems to bound forward from the putter (Ping Anser) and I just can't control the distance anywhere near as accurately as my favourite ball a Call' HX Tour.

this ball will work excelently for those wanting the consistency needed for an all round decent game.I really love to terst out balls i find or are given and the ad333 really does show...what i like to say "truth" there is no saying.."oh its too soft for me" or "its not my type of game"

it just does its job ...and that i think is essential for consistent game play knowing that when u hit the ball it will do what YOU want it to do. None of this uncontroled spin or to much movement in the wind stuff.
basicly withought all this chatter there is no need to spend the amount of money ome does on premiem ball if u r unable to control them this ball is a fantastic ball if u want consistecy the way YOU play and not the guy advertising the best ball out ....THEN GET THIS BALL it is great for your game

Feels like nothing you've ever hit off an iron - super soft. If your playing a par 3 or all irons, this is the ball. I think it has a high trajectory. Only knock for me (maybe just my swing) is it tends to hook alittle off the driver. It's a nice ball but a lil expensive for me.

I played ProV1's for a bit, but wasn't getting the distance (I guess my 90mph swing speed just wasn't good enough.

So I tried the Noodle and the Laddie - way too soft feeling for me.

I played the NXT for a while. Blah!

Tried the Maxfli Black Max. Now we're getting somewhere. The Black Max is a really nice ball, but expensive.

I tried the Srixon Z-URS. More expensive than the Black Max, and no better.

Then I found an AD-333 on the course and played with it. Wow! $18 per dozen. Plays straight and long. Great trajectory off the driver. Good feel and higher trajectory off the irons. Very durable. Enough spin that most irons are "one hop and stop". What's not to like?

The AD-333 is my new ball.

I am a senior with a swing speed of 85-90 mph. I was playing a Titleist ball wich they stopped making and went to their DT SoLo. Seemed like I lost 10-15 yds. with that ball. I found a Srixon range ball on a course I was playing and tried it just for the fun of it. The ball went longer and straighter than the ball I was playing. I got the Srixon AD333 for my next round and was pleasantly suprised. The ball went longer and straighter than any ball I had played in years. I gained 15-20 yds on my drives, the ball stuck on the greens on my approach shots. This ball is a real confidence builder.

I've wanted to try the Srixon 333's for a couple of years; When the new 2006 Golf Digest gave the improved version of this ball high ratings I was even more interested. My wife was only able to acquire for me the original version, at the nearest Golftown, so that I what I will make my comments on, but I'm still very interested to hear/read comments from others who have played both versions, and how they compare them.

I've been a Nike Supersoft (Now Powersoft) fan for approx. 3 years, long before the 06 May Consumer Report listed them as the #2 Best Ball in their study; and of course, I played the Powersoft side by side with the 333 for a round at my member course. Of course, feel is personal, and my comments are based on what I like. I like "softness" and "feel"; For me, the Powersoft was superior in every single category. That's not to say that the AD333 isn't a good ball -- it is. For those who want a little firmer feeling ball, they would probably choose it over the softer, almost mushy feel of the Powersoft. I still will give the improved version of these a go, though, as I understand the compression has been reduced to 70 and should provide a softer feel than the original.

For my level of play, this is an outstanding ball. I have come to realize that a 2 piece ball is what I need for my game. My swing speed and ability simply do not take advantage of the 3 piece ball technology. I will say this though, the Srixon Z-URS is a DOG compared to the Callaway, Nike and Titleist! The AD333 however, at 19.95/dozen is outstanding for someone with a moderate swing speed (under 100 at least) and tends to shoot in the 90's. I have also noticed that I get less of a slice as well as hit them longer than any other 2 piece ball that I have tried. The Maxfli A10 Solid is also an outstanding ball, if there are any left on the market. I would rate the Maxfli a VERY close second to the 333. And at 10 bucks per dozen (current sale price at Dick's) they are a steal!!!!

Soft ball. Feels great off every club. Excellent for putting and provides feel around the green. Rather high ball flight. Seems to be quite durable. Not for those seeking distance, but still long enough.
Great price/performance ratio.

I initially bought these balls for my son. He is 14 and on the jr. golf team. He's about a 14 handicap. I tried one ball (i usually use the prov1). I was surprised! The ball spun and stopped with no problem (from the green side rough, twice). Distance and trajectory was very good! For $20 a dozen-a great deal! Oh, my son loved the ball!

I bought a dozen of these balls at the recommendation of a friend who felt confident that I would abondon all 3-piece tour balls after trying this. That is entirely wrong. I have a decently high swing speed (105 with driver) and I usually spin back a lob wedge all the way up to a 9 iron. With these balls I got alot of spin off the driver which led to ballooning, and no spin off the irons and wedges. For example, I hit a sand wedge from 100 yards about a yard behind the hole, and instead of spinning back closer, it rolled about 5 feet. The only people who should use these balls are people who have trouble getting the driver up in the air, as these certainly raise your driver trajectory. Not the ball for higher swing speed players, try the b330-s, which is what I play.
