I've used 3 and 4 piece balls for a while now and got tired of tossing them out every round due to scuffs. Thought I'd try the AD333 to save some money. Feel: these are good balls for the 2-piece "soft" category (as opposed to 2-piece distance rocks). So soft that you barely feel them or hear them off the irons. This can be good and bad, depending on how much feedback you want. I prefer a slightly heavier feel (more feedback). But, unlike some soft balls, they don't "bounce" off the putter, so you do have a better sense of speed and distance with these comparatively. Distance: seem a tad farther than my spinny 3-piece balls, but not dramatically so. Spin: if you can trap the ball, you can get moderate spin on your full swings and longer pitches. But, short pitches and chips, not so much. No hop and stop on the short shots. Durability: durable, not bullet proof. They will scuff on the typical wedge shots, but not so much that they're unplayable. Overall: This is a really decent ball. It's not a Pro-V (or Z-Star), but it's great for winter play or if you want that pure silent butter feel coming off your club face. Similar Products Used: Laddie-X, Juice, D2 Feel, Warbird, Diablo |

After reading a review of the AD-333 on the 'net I tried them and have been very satisfied. I am 70 years old and have a slowish swing, but find that I'm hitting to my maximum distance with these balls. My handicap index is 17.0 so my scoring is usually in the mid to high 80s. I used to use Titleist Pro V, but now realise that these are a poor match for my swing style - they feel like hitting a rock! I have used Titleist DT Carry and DT Roll and these are fine, but I feel extremely comfortable and confident with the AD-333 Customer Service n/a Similar Products Used: Titleist Pro V, DT |

Just an update to my recent review. Since that review I've been to the practice green and found little difference between The AD333 and the PROV1. Putting, the jury is still out. I see others say it putts well, and I have never counted myself a good putter. Played 36 holes since also. Four good nines, including another 39. That's 6 good nines consecutively. I don't think that's ever happened in my life. Probably giving the ball too much credit, but I bought another dozen. |

OK, Let me start by saying that I am one of the very fortunate few who doesn't have to worry about price for a good golf ball. Not because I have alot of money, but becuse I get all the Pro V's I want--- for free!! Guess what?? I give them away because aside from a great ball on and around the greens, I can't get satisfactory distance. (Swing speed around 90mph) That being said, the Srixon AD 333 is the only ball I have played that comes extremely close to Pro V performance on approach shots and on the green, but travels a mile off the tee!! Nice and soft too. Without a doubt, the best value on the market. Try them. For 20 bucks it's a no brainer. Customer Service None Similar Products Used: Everything at least twice |

Tough year for me to reach my annual holy grail-bad weather, work, etc. Each time I thought I was ready for a breakthrough, the next round was disastrous. Recently took the Prov1's out in cool weather and my evil swing. Ball was going nowhere. I'm senioring in the last couple years, and was eager to try the Bridgestone RX for it's consideration of the majority of the market in designing a ball for most of us. I liked it, pretty well, but the $40+ price should evoke love, not like.

I read the mostly very positive reviews yesterday, so I bought a dozen. It is possible to slice them, as that's what I did on my first drive. After that, it got better, much better. These are really good balls. They feel good, good on distance, putt straight, and will still check up pretty well. Price is great so it's definitely my new ball. I can get this in Canada for $15. I think this is the best in its class! I shot a 39 front 9 in my "home" course. Distance is great and acceptable to work with around the greens, compared with the urethane covered Bridgestone e5+ they are about the same but costs $10 less a dozen. It putts very straight and soft too. Nice all-around ball for the winter! |
