My game is not what it used to be, but I found I needed a 3 piece ball with a urethane cover. At $14.98 a dozen at closeout from the Sports Authority, I was skeptical until I played it the first time. As good a ball in my opinion as the Titlest Pro V1 or Nike One which I have used before. Much cheaper too. Went back to the store and bought the last box they had.

I disagree with many of these reviews. As a guy who loved the original Revolution ball (not the solid one), I wanted to like these. But after playing 2 dozen, they are just too short. They are not (at least for me) as long as a B330 or ProV1 or Nike One Platinum. Almost a club shorter with the irons. Remind me of the Strata Tour - another nice ball, but a club short of the best. Great ball if you can find it. Solid off the tee and great around the greens. i have about a dozen left and have begun a search for an updated ball. More on that to come ... Similar Products Used: golf balls |

I don't know why they stopped making them because for the money this is the best ball out there. I recently bought 13 dozen on-line and I hope I can find more. The ball carries well off the driver and can back up when needed. The only down side, which is the same as pretty much any performance ball, is after a few crisp iron shots (5-6 holes) the ball needs to be changed. Thankfully the price makes it affordable to switch out the ball a few times during the round. Customer Service n/a Similar Products Used: Strata Tour Ace, Tiltleist ProV1 |

After playing with the Wilson Px3 ball, I stumbled across these on sale for 17.99/doz at tgw.com. My brother-in-law had tried them and spoke very highly of them. After 3 rounds of golf with them, I have to say that distance is pretty good with them. I have never had a problem with distance, just accuracy. Off the driver they feel solid, but I have to agree with a previous reviewer about the sound. Solid hits have a snap to them which sometimes sounds like a "bladed" shot. Hold on the green is good, both from long distance and short chips. The balls release well when the shot calls for it. Putting...I am sort of at odds with this ball putting. Compared to the Px3, this ball is a bit less lively off the putter face. But, it has good roll characteristics. Since playing with these balls my putting average is 2.06 on 54 holes. For the price, I would stock up on these things. An excellent 3 piece ball. Customer Service Haven't used Similar Products Used: Wilson Px3, Strata Distance |

This ball rocks, especially for the money. Just as long as the Pro V1x, but holds greens like a golf ball should! great fell, too. Distance: on my last round, I held my club at the end (1" long) and made my usual swing, the boys in the foursome said it was my best drive of the day. It was 1 yard short of the 100 yard marker on a 434 yard hole, slightly uphill, too! These balls also hold the green, stopping within a few feet of landing usually when my Pro v1 would have been 15 feet long. It also feels good and looks good to my eye. For $15, it's a no-brainer! Stopped at Golfsmith on Friday and picked up a dozen for $14.99 off the clearance table, since I'd read glowing reviews. Played 27 holes with them over the weekend and I am VERY impressed - nice distance off the tee, soft off my irons and wedges. The sound off the club [a large part of "feel", according to the golf magazines] is unique, almost like a firm "snap". And the spin - holy buckets! They were leaving very significant ball marks on the greens, occasionally even leaving a small divot of turf a foot away. I'll be back to buy more before they run out. Customer Service None used. After reading the positive reviews of this golf ball here, I decided to give them a try since I saw them on sale for $14.99 a dozen at my local GolfSmith. The main thing I look for in a ball is how it "feels" and this ball is a good all around feeling ball to me. Feels nice off the driver with very good distance. In my experience, the Callaway HX Tour is the longest of the premium balls, but the Rev Tour is not much shorter. They hold the green well with mid/long irons and the spin off of wedges isn't severe either, like the Pro V's. I think they're just right. Around the greens, it chips well and feels great on putts. At $14.99/dozen it's a steal! tgw.com actually has them online for sale at $17.99/dozen, so if you can't find it locally on sale, get it online. Also, these balls are sturdy as well, they don't scuff as easily as the HX Tours in my experience. In closing, after trying these balls and if they weren't on sale, I'd still think they're worth the retail/normal price of $29.95. Go get them while they're cheap, they're worth more than what they are currently priced! Customer Service N/A Similar Products Used: Callaway HX Tour (also tried the new 56), Precept U-Tri Tour (good ball for the price), Titleist Pro-V's, Srixon AD 333 (Laddy like ball, both in performance and price), Precept Laddy (good "cheap" ball, but lacks feel in the short game, IMO). |

My experience with this ball was very posititve. It has respectable distance off the driver, without too much spin. It is soft enough to play well off irons wedges with quite a bit of spin. It feels good off of the putter, and it has a very durable shell. I played 16 holes with one yesterday, and apart from some mild discolouration, noticed no significant damage to the cover. I would highly recommend it as an affordable alternative to some of the pricier Tour level balls...especially if yo manage to lose a ball or two every now and then. Customer Service Unknown. I bought these balls for 2 reasons. The price ($29.00/ dozen) and the claim that they were as long as the Pro V with similar feel and spin. I played my first round of the season with the same ball and it only showed some minor nicks (try that with a Pro V!). The second round I played, I shot my career low round (78) and the ball was a big reason for that. I didn't sacrifice any distance off the tee, I was able to hold greens and it felt great coming off my putter. I was looking for a less expensive alternative to the Pro V and Nike One and I have found it. Similar Products Used: Pro V, Nike One Black, Strata Tour Ace |
