I found one of these and started playing it. Here in cold weather land the ball absolutely rocks off of the club and I'm playing from places where only the scratch boys go and they're soft enough in 40F weather to feel what's going on with the putter. I don't know how they play in warm weather, but for this winter I'm using them, exclusively. Also, if I need to work a ball around an obstacle they seem to stay on the club face long enough for me to do something with them. I tried this ball on a reccomendation from a friend. I had been struggling at tournaments and wanted a change. The first round out with these I shot an 83, the next round which was the tournament on the same course I shot 78 and won. I won the next two tournaments as well. The only negative I have to say about this ball is that it tends to balloon up high and I think it's a bit shorter than other balls of this level. The price is definately right but I am not a long hitter, I go about 175-180 with the 6 iron under normal conditions. If you can rip the ball this might be a very good ball to try, I just didn't like the ball flight. The Rev Tour does everything else well though, good spin, and putts nicely. Check the reviews on the Precept U-Tri Tour you might find this ball more to your liking. I like these golf balls. Tried the Rev Tour's 'cause they were only $25/doz. vs. $40/doz. for Pro V1's. Maxfli bills them as longer than Pro V1x, with more spin and feel, like a Pro V1. I guess that's about right. I hit 'em about as far as anything else, and they hold greens about the same as Pro V1's too. They don't scuff too bad, either. I recommend them. I have tried every "good" ball out there including the Pro v1, v1x, Nike one black, etc. I seem to get more distance and some great spin off these balls. I have played most of the Maxfli line also, including the Noodle, A10, and M3, and my distance has been the best with the Rev Tour. Also, I am not one who spins ball very well on the greens, at most, drop and stop. With these, I sometimes spin off the greens - which obviously in not good, but really is a distance control problem not a ball problem. The other distance balls like V1x and Nike one Black are good enough balls, but I am not good enough to generate enough spin to stop these on the green while the Rev Tours seems fairly easy. The reason I tried these was because of the price. I can get these for 27.99 and they perform better for me than the other premium balls which are 10-12 dollars more expensive. I would highly recommend. Customer Service none Similar Products Used: ProV1, V1x, Nike one black, M3, A10, Noodle |

Great feel, spin, and control. Played it today in the hot Texas sun, on very fast greens. This ball held all the greens, from a 4-iron up. It has a nice feel around the greens and putts true as well. It doesn't quite have the distance of the A10 ball, but reminds me me of the original revolution balls (not solid). I only wish they would bring back the A10 balls...
