I have been a loyal Titleist Professional user for several years, but this ball possesses a better combination of performance and durability. It's pricey, and initially my reaction was to say "forget it", but after two rounds using the same ball, it's still new looking. The Titleist, in comparison, looks used after one round, and gets the paint scraped off it easily. If I mis-hit a Titleist, it can go out-of-round; I have not had any problems with the Callaway yet. Yep -- they're pricey, but at the end of the day, they're still a better bargain than the Titleist. The spin is just right, unlike the Stata, which spins way too much, and often backs up off the green. Callaway is my new ball!!!

Played the soft version - blue - and found no performance difference from the Professional or Revolution. Actually seemed to balloon more and did not have a boring trajectory. Not worth the hype!!!

Other reviews talk about distance and spin. This ball is the very best ball I have ever experienced on the putting green. It literally tracks differently off the putter. Smoother and more consistent.

I am not sure what Callway has in their magic bag but the hype is real.

Absoultey the best ball you can buy. Forget about the price. It is so worth it I can't even tell you. I chopped out 3 strokes on 9 because of these balls. They are 10-15 yards longer, 5 yards longer on irons, and SPIN!

My search for the perfect ball has ended. This one feels great and gives me the confidence to work the ball without sacrificing distance. Checks up on mid irons and spins like the Strata Tour off wedges. When hit squarely, it rocketed off the tee with both driver and irons. Seems to have a lower trajectory off the tee, which I like. It's durable as well. Definitley worth the money.

This ball has great feel and major spin action. Comes in a nifty five-pack which is great. I can hit this ball long and straight and at the same time maintain great control.

Wow.

I just got back from the PGA Show in Orlando... attended the Callaway Golf Ball Launch Press conference on Friday morning and was able to get a few sleeves of the new ball. I didn't expect it to be great cause I'm very loyal to the Titleist Professional, and honestly didn't think that anything else could compete. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the Callaway ball (SoftFeel) performs beautifully, has a very solid feel off the tee, soft off the irons/chipping and putting. It has a great spinrate for short game shots that takes a little getting used to, it really checks quickly on pitches and bunker shots. Compares most closely to the Strata Tour Professional and Maxfli Revolution. They are unique in that they're packaged in sleeves of 5 and sold in 20 packs rather than the traditional 3ball sleeves and dozens. Makes sense cause I don't know anybody who's confident enough to KNOW that 3 balls is enough for 18 holes... but if you can't get around w/ 5 you might want to try tennis.

I tried the soft model. I thought that it was a perfectly good ball that most likely competes with the Maxfli Revolution, Strata Tour, and Titleist Professional balls. Nothing extra-special, though.

As a person golfer who gets to play alot less than I'd like (who doesn't say this) I use a number of different balls--gifts; whatever is on sale. This time, I had a gift certificate, and couldn't really afford anything else in the shop, so i bought two sleeves of Rule 35s. I was shocked because it was the first time I ever really noticed a different feel from the ball. Usually compression is the only thing that I notice. These balls feel great off the driver and are soft off the putter. I'd say I would use them all the time, but the time they feel lousy is when I'm dunking one in a pond.

I hate to admit it after all the hype but this is actually an excellent ball. Long of the tee, great feel around the greens and even pretty good in the wind. Not the cheapest ball but if you don't lose it it'll last for a good few rounds. Best alround ball on the market in my opinion.
