I used a gift certificate the other day to purchase these balls. After reading all the reviews I was expecting the worst. I know alot of people hate Callaway and even if this ball played great for them they would not admit it. I am not a great golfer. I hit mid 80's and sometimes flirt with the 70's and 90's. This ball is as good as all the other premium balls on the market. It does not do any one thing great but does everything good. I have not played the Pro V1 because of the cost, however I have played with many people who have. If their game sucked before the Pro V1, it still sucked with the Pro V1. The only thing I have a problem with is that you pay 31.00 for 10 balls.

Outragious!!
I've never seen a ball spin so much in my life. You could stop these balls on concreate. The only problem is on soft greens it can get a bit silly. Brilliant ball around the greens. What ever anyone says this ball is not soft. Of the wedges it seels like a soft distance ball which is what I love about it because of the massive amount of feel that it offers. The harder feel also makes it excellent for putting. The cover is much like the Proffesional as far as durability although you do get big stretch marks off the shorter clubs. However the durability is easily acceptable unlike the Strata and Nike TA. Because of the hrd core the balls travels well of the driver as well. All in all I feel that this ball is the best on the market by miles. Thanks Callaway.

I tried a dz. each of the 2 balls.I need to start by saying I am not a Callaway fan, and do not own any of their other products.I have had some of their products in the past but the production quality bothered me. I play the TM 360 driver and Mizuno 14 irons with Cleveland wedges and SC putter. The blue ball feels too soft-great off irons but mushy off driver. The red ball was definitely longer with less side spin off driver. Red distance 9 Red spin off irons 9 Red chipping 9 Red putting 9 love the arrow. There are longer balls, there are balls that spin better, and balls that putt better. Strata TU. But all in all a very good ball.

Great ball! It has Spin, Distance, and control all in ONE!!! The outer layer of the ball does not chip off like other people have said. I hit at least 13 shots perfectlly and no paint chipped off. Good work Callaway!

Great ball, good distance. Bites the green well and rolls true off of the putter. I've played the Pro V1 and it's slightly better, but until I can take out a second mortgage on my house, I'll stick with the Rule 35.

Playing on holiday in nova scotia i was given one of these and i played great with it. putted terribly on a really long course i'd never played before and still beat my handicap. ball went miles, very forgiving and level of spin was sensational. even on slightly thinned shots the ball stopped dead. buy this ball, u need it

Didn't expect a lot from this ball considering the cost (too high).
Hated it at first, got used to putting it and chipping it, now i LOVE it.
Played mainly the Rev and Strata Pro while experimenting with many others, not any more. I now play this ball more than the Rev, i never thought i would say that.

Try it, you will like it if not love it!

A very good ball. It has all the benefits of a balata ball, good check on the greens and nice feel with the putter without the problem of turning into an egg if you hit a tree or cutting a smile into the ball when you catch one a bit thin.

You pay for what you get though and at about £2.50 a ball it is quite expensive.

As they say in Chinese - nice balls.

All other previously stated accolades apply. Cover is more durable than Strata. Played one ball 39 holes before losing it in the water. Also tried the "practice" balls - cosmetically imperfect (cheaper). IMHO, all balls are cosmetically imperfect after the first hit. FYI - hit a "practice" ball 300 yds. Most of the "perfect" balls went avg. of 265. Will play this or Stratas - whichever is cheaper. At my level of play, it ain't the ball so much as my inability to chip and putt.
