Most would surprized to learn that Bridgestone actually manufacture 90% of the balls on the market, except for Callaway. But for the price, these play well, in the wind, around the green, feel soft off the putter face. While hitting down on these with a forged blade will one understand and see the benefit of bite on the green approach.

Been using these as they are the only decent balls at my pro shop from winning comps. These are realy good balls. I can't understand the last reviewer. Off the driver and irons these feel pure, solid but still fairly soft. They are very long and have a good high penetrating ball flight. I have a fast swin speed (105-110) so maybe that's the key with these balls. I find most companies seem to have a premium ball designed for high swing speeds and they all perform about the same, just depends on how you are hitting them on the day. If you like ProV1X, Callaway HX tour, Srixon Zur or Hogan black you should like this. Also a bit cheaper than Callaway or Prov1X

Tried this ball recently based on a recommendation, and was truly disappointed. The ball is definitely long, but has just about the worst feel of any premimum ball I've ever used. Feels like an absolute rock, particularly off the putter, as well as chipping around the greens. The fact that Bridgestone charges $40/doz for these is shocking to me. They are long, but so are Top-Flites. Would not recommend at all.

I think this is a great Ball, he is very long and the spin on the green is ok. But I will not take this ball because for putting the feeling is too hard. Compare with the U-Tri Tour there is a big difference.

I could not be happier with this ball it is very long and is also more durable than any of the other premium ball. The spin is also optimal because you can still spin it back a few feet, but you won't pull it back off the green. Some people won't like this ball because it is a firm ball intended for people with high swing speeds. I have a swing speed of 120 mph and I average 315 off the tee with this ball. If you don't have that fast of a swing don't mess around with this one. You will find it harsh feeling and not as long, just go for the regulare Pro V1.

Very long of the Tee. My drives are not huge, but have gained 10 yards over the Pro V1 and X. The spin is OK not great, but then again how many of us hit the green long behind the pin with the intention of spinning it back to the hole? Most likely not many, so if you don't need ESPN highlight spinners, then this ball is for you. It's relatively soft to putt and you can put some spin on it if needed, and like I said it's plenty Long.

A very nice product from Bridgestone. These balls jump off the driver and hit very nicely off the irons. They generate plenty of spin off of a full swing with a short iron and will back up when hit into a green. They spin at least as well as the Callaway HX Red, but not quite as well as an HX Blue or a U-Tri Tour. However, they spin plenty well to stop these puppies on a green. Plus, you're usually hitting one club less anyway due to their superior distance off the tee.

I switched to these this season after playing with V1x all last season. Some reviewers previously mentioned not having much results with these balls. Well, here's the biggest thing with this ball. SPEED! unless you're generating PGA level swing speed, you're not going to have much luck with these balls. They don't launch well (ie, low ball flight with slow swing speed) and unless you can generate spin with the club, it's not going to bite the green. Same thing if you tried playing V1x with out being able to generate swing speed or spin from the club. It isn't going to work! Personally, these are best balls I've hit to date. Plays very similar to last year's V1x, but with additional distance (about 10 yards longer). I'm a die hard V1x fan, but the 'new' V1x just don't fly right, and glad these are available.

Received a sample pack of two balls from the Pro Shop at my club and purchased a sleeve. The only complaint I have with this is durability. After one or two iron shots, the cover is completely shredded (Ping ISI steel). Other than the shredding, I really liked the ball, but won't use again because of the durability factor alone.

Did you say BITE? Bite, as in these balls stink! OK, maybe they don't stink, cause they are long off the tee, I'll give them that. But they putt like rocks, and the bite around the greens like rocks. Now maybe your game is different then mine. Maybe you don't expect to have your 30 yard chips stop dead when they land. Maybe you don't expect the balls to spin when you hit it out of the second cut of rough. I do. Right now I play Maxfli Elites and I get these characteristics from that ball. They save me quite of few strokes each round being able to spin the ball on command. Do I like being able to pound the ball down the fairway with these Bridgestones? But hey, for me there's more than being long. That's for you to decide, but please don't think these balls spin....HAH!
