I don't hold punches. I play lot's of balls. This ball is not worth the money. Period. It does not fly straight and true. It doesn't hold the green. It feels ok, but that's about all I can say. Average distance. A Nike One black blows this away, even the ignite! Junk. Very disapointing. Customer Service na Similar Products Used: e5 e6. |

Bridgestone B330-S
Found a B330 while playing and hit a couple of tee shots and mid irons and was intrigued. Played following round with PROV1 on front 9 and B330 on the back. B330 carried 10-15 yards further off the tee, irons (carry, control and spin) was not noticeably different. However, I was not fond of the firm feel of the B330. Picked up a sleeve of B330-S ($10) and have played 36 holes with “a single ball”. B330-S is softer than B330 as designed and is comparable to the PROV1 for control (spin, shot shape, trajectory, etc.). Feel off the putter is a little firmer but it took no time to assimilate to the new ball.

Excellent ball, long of the tee and plenty of spin for stopping power with your wedges. Bridgestone did an excellent job with this product. I would recommende it to those using the Pro V1 and NXTs. Much better than anything else I have tried and I have tried quite a bit. Customer Service Have not use it. Similar Products Used: ProV1x

Well i just got done playing 9 and i bought a sleeve at the pro shop to try the out.The version i got was the B330s and had high expectations. They are actually fairly long to be the soft version.good ball flight putted ok.I three putted the first two holes which is very unusual for me but it maybe just getting used to the feel but after that had no problem putting them I even drained a 35 footer. The problem i had was the ball didnt have much spin at all on anything less than full wedge shots. It didnt check much at all on chips, top flite XL extreme tours check up as well as these did.Overall good ball but i believe ill stick to the Nike One Platinums or the Pro-V's

My best friend and his brother have started playing these. They both shoot in the 70's and the brother is an assistant pro at a Davis Love III designed course and loves them. I tried a sleeve yesterday to see what all the fuss was about and didnt really like them. I normally play ProV1's and am comparing the 330's to them. Seemed like i hit quite a few flyers with the bridgestone, which i hardly ever do. Halfway through the round i took out a pro V1 and immediately quite blocking the ball. these balls go far (i made a couple of nice carries i wasnt sure i would make) and they feel really soft compared to the proV1's. they putt straight and true also. but i dont prefer them over a pro V1. also, both my friends i mentioned earlier and i dont like the fact that you cant spin them very well. This ball is far. I have hit the ball a whole lot further, and more confidence that i will hit the fairway. I would say that i gained about 5-10 yards. This is truly the best ball. BOOM,BOOM,BOOM,BOOM! Similar Products Used: Pro V1, Pro V1x, Callaway HX tour, etc.

Bridgestone B330S (new version)
Tried a sleave of these the other weekend and was surpised at the durability of these balls. The B330 I hear is easily torn up by the end of a round but this S version is amazingly tough. Hardly a mark on it after 18 and looks new! It is pretty soft and feels nice off of the driver and blades and almost feels as soft as the Pro V1 off of the putter. Overall, a really nice feeling ball.

This is a hard golf ball. I have a swing speed between 102-107 mph with the driver and this ball really goes. I hit a couple out there near 300 yards. It performs well into and around the greens also (spins surprisingly well considering the hard feel), but ultimately I decided this ball was just too firm for me. I can't downgrade the ball from a performance standpoint, because it did every thing I asked of it, but the feel wasn't what I'm accustomed to. I'm sure this is an exceptional ball for some people. If you've got a fast swing speed you need to give this one a try. let me first state, i am a sucker for balls. I keep trying new balls trying to get the "edge" over my fellow friends. It has not helped when my last 3 rounds, not including my recent 2 have been shot in the 90s (closer to 100) and that for me is just plain pathetic. AND i was using the b330s. Needless to say, i lost a couple (in the jungle and water, How else can you get your score up??) and was thinking .... is it the ball or me? (we all know the answer to that one....) gave it a 2 week rest and came back with a new driver (g5) and since i still had 2 sleeves left, decided to give it a shot. WOW!! i shot a 4 over first 9, and a 8 over 2nd 9. I have not shot below my handicap (14) in 7 games..... (did i say i was playing terrible??) The next day, shot a 9 over for 18. and yes, i was still using the bridgestone ball from the previous day. The ball, is durable, rolls truly, has good spin off irons and goes reasonably long off the driver. I was swinging easy so i had no chance to pummel the ball, i usually drive it 280 yards, but was only averaging 260 yards today cos i was swinging easy. SO yeah, maybe it does go long. What i hate is the absence of branding... i mean bridgestone?? who plays with bridgestone?? i love playing with the prov1x but they are pricey. SO with regard to my last question, i guess i will be playing with bridgestone from now on. Similar Products Used: nxt, nxt tour, utri tour, prov1x, |

I have no idea how some of you believe this ball is like a rock. I have played a few rounds with it now. I absolutely LOVE THIS THING. this summer I started out with the new pro-VX, Spun the ball too much off short iron, then went to the Callaway HXtour's. Which went well but felt a little harder then the X. But stuck with them. When I tried the B330 I was shocked. It didn't spin as much as the HXtours or Pro-V1X's off of short Irons. Off of the driver it is the best ball flight I've hit in a while. And It has the hit and stop technology all the way down to my long irons. Yet it has the capability of spinning alot if you need to. Around the green I don't see a huge difference between the HXtour's and X's. The other day I played and it was extremely windy, this ball likes the wind, cuts through nice due to less overall spin coming off the clubface. And off the putter it feels good, I'm not sure where some of you are getting the "rock" feel. Maybe hit it on the center of the putter next time?? And like a previous poster said, maybe you need a higher swing speed and need to strike this ball solid to be able to get it's full potential. Becuase this is by far the best ball I've played in my life. Similar Products Used: Titleist Pro-1X, Callaway HXtour. |
