I received a 2 ball sleeve of e6 balls to review for my golf club and fell in love with the feel immediately. I played the entire round with these two balls and broke 90 for the first time this year. I shot an effortless 86 and missed atleast 5 Biridie putts. I have found a new ball and plan on retiring my Titleist NXT's when I run out. My mental game has a new best friend.

This ball is what I have been looking for. I play the Titleist ProV1, which I love, but my heart stops on occasion when I catch a cart path or clip a tree because they are so expensive. This ball almost gives me the same performance without the heartache. I was given some as a promo, and I did not even know what they were, so I was completely unbiased with no expectations. Immediately after impact I could tell this ball was great. Very soft and I did not loose distance. I can spin it back with any wedge and it will check up nicely on a chip. Putts feel great as well, and it is to adjust to the speed of the greens, especially bent grass. The first guy is nuts and he would not know a good ball if it hit him on the head. I recently played a money tournament (not some charity or office scramble) and had a drive of 352, so that ended all doubt about giving up distance. It’s not my longest (390), but I will take it everyday. It is not a PRO V1, but until Titleist decides those balls are NOT made of gold, I will be playing the e6. Thanks for letting me rant, and when my e6 flies past you one day do not be surprised.

PS
(I hate the PRO V1x)

just a follow up review, to help offset the knuckleheads that dissed this great ball. For the price you can't find a better ball, period, with the soft feel, 3 piece construction, and low spin..... unless you find closeouts on the Precept lady Diamond for $9.50/dozen like I did recently. Very similar. If you like a crisper feel, fine, but that has nothing to do with the quality, durability and performance of THIS ball.

I decided to try something other than the ole' wal-mart ball and ended up trying a bunch. The one that I'm sticking with is the e6. I love the soft feel + long distance. These balls may not be as long as the e5's but they're still looong. I had to drop a club back after using wal-mart brands (top-flight xl's) for most of my early playing days. I also noticed while practicing chipping, these balls fly a little bit higher than most with the same stroke.

Everyone wants to keep it in play and these balls make that just a little bit easier. I'm sticking with these.

And to top it off they're almost half the price of the ProV1 and HX tour.

bottom line... I read the box... it said it reduces sidespin... that was my problem because I play draw on every shot but sometimes it draws a bit too much, so i bought a sleeve of the e6. I shot 88... I broke 100 5 years ago and was stuck on 91 ever since... couldnt get any lower. I Tried everything. I pulled the e6 out on hole 1 and by hole 18 I was still using the same ball. Never lost a ball and this is on a 6100 yard 18 holee course with lots of trouble. bottom line... this is the best ball I have ever played.

This ball is a must buy! It is a great quality ball and very durable as well. It is very hard to slice or hook this ball as I tried to overpower a few and only got a slight fade letting me know I was getting close to the limit. It is a very predictable ball too. You know if it slices or hooks it was all you. I definitley recommend this ball for anyone trying to keep all their shots straight and consistant. It does not however produce alot of backspin, but it was not designed to be a players ball, but to help you stay straight and long. It does just that. I will most definitley buy these again. Stop by your local golf shop and try a sleeve of them if you are looking for some help staying straight. They will help your game and your confidence level as well. Good job Bridgestone! A+ ball.

In short, this is a fantastic ball. I can't tell if it is any longer than the Precept Laddie or Laddie Xtreme (maybe slightly longer), but the real difference is the feel and spin. I know the box says it spins less than the e5, which it does, but I feel it spins more than the Laddies. It checks up nicely on half wedges and on chips. I can actually get some backup on these (never could on the Laddies). When Bridgestone Precept discontinued the Laddies, I have been in search of an affordable, playable ball. I think I've found it. The e6 is an awesome ball for the price.

BTW, tried the e5 also. The e5 imparts a WHOLE LOTTA spin. Great for people who like/need to work the ball (and doesn't slice/hook). See other review.

This ball was okay. Like all Bridgestone products, it felt a little dead to me. I prefer a ball that is a little more crisp feeling (e.g. pro v1, of course). Fortunatly for me, I only had a couple of these and put them both into ponds before I finished my round so I could move back to another ball.

I don't feel like a good enough player to judge the performance of these balls but I know for sure that I don't like the way they feel.
