I'm quite satisfy with the U-Tri Tour Ball with mid-price range in the previous day playing with the game. Just learnt that U-Tri Tour is an obseleted product and I asked the Pro-shop to suggest a 3-piece replacement ball with similar performance as U-Tri Tour. The Pro-shop suggested the Bridgestone e6. By then I played a couple of rounds of golf in a very tough course designed by Gary Player out of HK. The green is hard and dry in this winter time. Overall the rating for the ball is good but not great. It can help you to add distance for most of the clubs. The feel is just a little harder than U-Tri. It provides you with a reasonable soft feel on the approach shot, you can check and stop the ball using shot irons or wedges. For the last game. I lose only two balls versus a normal play of losing three or more in this particular tough course. I anticipated that the side spin is certainly reduced if you hit reasonable shots. Sometimes if you want to hit with a long iron 5, 4, or below, you may possibly consider to use 1-club shorter since the ball can carry a longer distance and it will roll on the green a little more than U-Tri Tour/Titleist ProV1. The best I like e6 is the ball flight, it is higher than I expected. I used to hit a lower ball flight with most of the balls such as U-Tri Tour, Titleist ProV1, Titleist NXT Tour. If you do not have any preference and is looking for a mid priced balls, I would recommend the e6. Customer Service N/A Similar Products Used: Precept U-Tri Tour |

Having taken up golf again after a 16 year period I went with Top Flite XL 2000, they were cheap and almost indestructable. I found a Bridgestone e6 in the woods and not being able to find mine I just dropped it and put it into play. I noticed the difference with the first shot. The feel was different, the shot straighter and I had more control on the greens. It never went back in the bag and I stopped on the way home for a dozen. A great ball...and to the guys I play with...FEAR ME |

I have been playing the Titleist ProV1 & ProV1x and also the Nike One Black & Platnium for some time and found that they honestly did not hold up worth a crap for the money I was paying for them. I hit quite a few wedges in every round and the balls were just not holding up. I went out on a limb and bought a sleeve of the Bridgestone E6's and I must say I played 27 holes with one ball. It was great to find a ball for $25 a dozen that plays as well as this one. It lacks alittle in the spin department but other than that the ball to me is great. I have been playing this ball for 4 months now and I must say if you play a for alittle more roll on some shots and get used to this ball you will not play any other ball. I am 2.8 handicap and I find this ball to suit me just fine. Customer Service Not needed Similar Products Used: All of the top brand balls from Titleist,TaylorMade,Callaway and Nike. |

Started using this ball recently and I find my drives going straighter adding 10 -20 yards per drive. I also hit an 8 iron from 140, it landed 4 feet from the pin and rolled about 20 backwards. I have never gotten backspin on a ball before. With these I am sticking balls on the green instead of rolling off. I have not shot a round in the 100's since I've played these. They seem to save me about 5 or more strokes per round. |

This is a ball that all mid to high handicappers really need to try. You can buy these balls every day at golfsmith for $25. That's a price that I'm comfortable with...don't know about you, but I'm a 10 handicap, and I don't think my game is worthy of $40 balls.....even though I really like them, and I'll pay it if "I have to." I won't buy a cheaper ball if it's going to cost me strokes...or distance.

Excellent ball. I have only been playing two years, and I was playing with the nike one platinum ball. I've never had any problems with that ball, but I needed to find a ball that would play similar withour being so expensive. I posted a question on the discussion boards on this website and I had at least three people recommend this ball. I was not dissapointed. It carries long off the driver and it is soft to the point that it will check up on the green and putts well. I have played numerous balls and I have only found two I was impressed with...however the e6 ball is 15 dollars less per dozen. Shot a round with these for the first time Saturday and was quite impressed. I've been partial to the vaunted Precept U-Tri-Tour for years, but since those are discontinued, I've been trying other balls lately.

If you're looking for a low-compression ball that is Long & Straight off the tee, the e6 just may be what you're looking for. It's quite possibly the longest ball that I've ever hit!
