Not sure why people like this trainer. It took about 5 minutes to get the correct swing, but found that on the range I could still hit better with my old swing. I also found it easy to manipulte the medicus to swing over the top, from the inside, ect. without breaking the club. In fact my 12 year old son who doesn't play golf swung the club without breaking it except at the very end. He watched the video with me and noticed you just start slow. In other words if you swing over the top you can learn to swing over the top with the medicus 2000. I can only assume if you shoot in the 90's it might be helpful. If you shoot in the low 80's it isn't going to help much. The only positive coment I can give on this product is it teaches you a smooth tempo, but do you really need this to learn that?

Worth buying if you can get one shipped or a customer service rep that actually knows whats going on. Do not know how they keep orders with the lousy service

Customer Service

Lousy customer relations when called 4 times about delivery. Told all 4 times would be shipped in 7-10 days. After 3rd time was told being shipped that friday or Monday. Called after 2 weeks and told it was still on backorder, called 2 weeks from that and still on backorder, cancelled order and bought on ebay.Do yourself a favor and try not to deal with them go to other auction sites will have less problems.

I'm a Natural Golfer so wasn't sure if this would work for me or not. As soon as I received it I took it out of box and used it. No break in back swing but did in down swing. My left wrist was not in correct position. Went to the course and 98% of shots went straight. Finally a training aid that really works. BUY IT!!!

Customer Service

Easy to order. Got email when shipped. No problems.

If any analytical type of person told me they wanted to learn how to golf and wanted to swing the RIGHT way I would hand them the Medicus 2000 club, the video and a regular 5 iron tell them, see ya in a couple of weeks! Or if you're a golfer with plenty of bad habits under your belt this will put you on the right path. I WAS a cronic "reverse pivot" swinger and was hitting fat a lot. After watching the tape a couple of times which was one of the best, no nonsense tapes ever saw, I don't think I'll ever reverse pivot again. It hasn't shaved 10 strokes off my game yet like so much other gimicky crap out there claim to do but I finally "GET IT" with this elusive "perfect" golf swing we're all chasing after!

I was not sure about a training aid, most I am sure are garbage. This really work! It helped me transfer my weight properly and I found out my take away was all wrong. The video and drills were a help. If you buy it follow the video and the booklet.

Customer Service

First of all, it's dang near impossible to hit a ball with this club. I don't now, it might be me. The first time I swung it, it only broke on the take away. After that, I could swing this club 100 times in a row with out it breaking. But then I discovered something- I could come over the top and stuff all I wanted and it wouldn't break. I have a tendency to slice and push the ball. I went to the rang and swung it for a bit and then hit a ball- it didn't do anything for me. I still pushed it. If you want to try it go ahead.

This is a very nice training aid. When I first used it, I only "broke" it on the takeaway, and wondered if my swing really was that good, or if it wasn't working. My brother then used it, and he "broke" it just about everywhere. I use it primarily to reinforce good habits and to slow myself down when I'm getting too fast on my takeaway. Bottom line: this product works as advertised, and does what it says. It was worth the money to purchase it. P.S. Being very tall, I had to lengthen the shaft of my Medicus. Be aware of that when purchasing.

Well, I read alot of reviews on this and I have to admit it works. I am just a hacker at golf and very inconsistant. But I want to play more and have taken 3 sets of lessons but still have problems swinging the club. I decided after seeing the tape demo at the local Golf Store that I would try it. The first night I watch the tape and practiced swinging it in my house. It did take awhile for me to slow down my swing but after a bit I could swing thru and keep the club together. Well the next day I went to the driving range and just used the Medicus 2000 without hitting any balls just practicing the swing about 10 times. Then I started hitting balls and I have to tell you they went straighter and most times farther then I ever hit before. I normally can drive a ball 250yrds on a good day with everything perfect, but today I was hitting 300yrds. I never did that before. Now I'm not saying this club will cure all problems but it will make you keep that arm straight and really hit the ball better. I think its a great tool to use for Beginner to Intermediate golfers.......well thats my 2 cents.

I usually shoot in the low 90's. Before I bought the Medicus I had broken 90 about 15 times in my life (none this year) and I play 25+ rounds per year. Since I bought the club, I have played 6 rounds, 4 in the 80's including an 82 (still gotta $#@*! putt)The other 2 rounds were 90 (snowman on a par 3) and 92 (38 putts). This club works. It takes some practice but it is worth it. It probably isn't for everyone though. You can have a good swing and break the club every time (Jim Furyk, Kenny Perry). And it won't take care of the lower body or weight transfer. But if you swing it and it didn't break, it is a good swing. I don't hit balls with it. When I got it I set it so loose that hitting balls didn't work. So I swing it 5 times then hit my club. Take it to the range for 1 or 2 large buckets, You will love this!
