Staight Shootin Golf
I bought Dalton's course back in 1997 or 98 after I had been playing for 5 or 6 years. I graduated from college in 92 and started playing golf with my uncle and cousin's. I was terrible but after a few years we all were shooting in the 90's consistently. I had never taken a lesson but I was going to around 1994 when my cousin took a lesson to improve his game, hew was shooting in the mid to high 90's. Consequently, his game went to the dogs and hew was back in the 100's and I vowed I would never take a lesson and let someone change my swing. I seen Dalton's program (infomercial) and I said, ok I will try it. 12 years or so later I still have the same swing and I still have the vhs tapes. Ny best score ever was 71 and I shoot in the 70's consistently. My cousin uses the same wing as well and he is a scratch golfer who has won many amateur tournaments and played in several PGA senior pro ams. No matter what anyone says, if you follow the course and the drills it will make a difference. By the way I haven't watched the tapes in years, but I am having them converted to cd's so I can get to that scratch level. Customer Service Buy it, you have nothing to lose but strokes. Similar Products Used: It's the best one piece swing that there is. As I learned from Dalton, the longer you can keep the club head square, the better chance you have of hitting the ball straight. On average tour pros' club head is straight for about six inches in the hitting area, with Dalton's swing the club head is straight for an astounding 40"!!!! do the drills this works. It is so good, here is my phone number, 301-257-5808 |

Dalton McCrary Straight As You Can Point Video
On January 13, 2003 and again on June 29, 2007, I posted comments about the Dalton McCrary instructional videos. Yesterday and the day before I used the Dalton theory to again shoot back to back scores below par at my 7100 yd course. My key is to be sure and rotate the left forearm on the downswing and watch the ball go high, true and long. At 62 years old, I drive it 265+ and hit my 8 iron 150 yds. I inserted some Don Trahan theory into my swing in the last year but they teach basically the same swing. Dalton evidently is retired and Trahan is going full speed trying to make money. Get the Dalton videos, look past the hokey student and Dalton's vernacular and go shoot low scores. I don't know why I have posted 3 times here. I think it is because I am reluctant to show my secret to the local boys but felt the desire to share the story with other golfers. Brilliant system. I play off 5 and now a Senior playing County golf in England. This system took all the pressure off my lower back and I am still amazed how straight I can hit it despite not reviewing the tapes for what must be 5 or 6 years now. Buy it. |

Dalton McCrary's tapes
I have watched the "Shoot as straight as you can point" tapes so many times I had to buy another set. My game went from 120+ to the below 110,then below 100 and now I can often shoot in the 80's. If I could play more often I bet I could get in the high 70's too. There are several points in the tapes that are critical to making the shots go straight, but the one thing I do, almost everyday, is the practice with the small rubber tire. I feel confident when I tee up a ball on the first hole that it will go far and straight, mainly due to the practice with that little tire. I almost always take a divot and it looks like a dollar bill shape everytime. I'd love to get in a live class with Dalton, but I don't even know if he is teaching anywhere at this time. The tapes say they were made in the 1997-98 period and I have not had any luck with the phone numbers listed in the reading materials or on the tapes. If anyone knows of his whereabouts I'd love to get some of his other products too. I've had my clubs altered to 4° up and love the way it lets me stand naturally when at address to the ball. I can't say enough in thanks to his simple to follow directions and I get a kick out of the way he talks. Similar Products Used: I have watched Gravity Golf, AJ Bonars, Tom Lehman, Arnold Palmer , Jack Nicholas and others tapes with some success, but nothing like Dalton's tapes. |

This is "Snake Oil"! I purchased this from one of Kevin Trudeau's infomercials. That in and of itself should be a red flag.

On January 13, 2003, I posted a review to this site about the Straight Shooting Concept. I am now 59 years of age and just today shot another below par round on a 7100 yd course. I continue to review the entire Dalton tapes, including the Short Game, Flat Stick and the Automatic Programmer Tape. All of these show up on Ebay now and then for give away prices. As another reviewer said, I also keep this system as my secret even though I sometimes feel guilty when my buddies ask "what do you do to hit the ball so damn straight?". Oh, I holed a 100yd sand wedge today for another eagle. And I often hit the flagsticks!! For those who feel they lose distance, look at page 25 of the manual and study the "forearm rotation". And, you absolutely must roll your heel so your rear foot is on the toe. I promise if you are not fully getting onto your toe, you did not shift all your weight to the target and you lost power and accuracy. I really have fun with this and would have enjoyed this 40 years ago!!! Those who complain about the woods, be certain you aggressively roll your wrist. I sometimes get lazy with the driver and I remind myself to rip over that left forearm and the wrist roll. Good luck.
