Best Wedges I have ever played. The 58 is perfect out of the sand and i always chip with it now. They are so soft and I can spin the ball within a foot of the pin on my chips. This club is the best by far.

I had the Cleveland 588 RTGs in the same lofts in my bag for most of this year and was interested in the Vokeys.

Overall, they play very similar. The Vokeys doen't feel quite as soft as the RTGs and seem a little more crisp at impact. The Vokeys seem to be more accurate on all kinds of shots. Distance control is similar. The Vokeys also seem to do a better job of digging the ball out of the rough and sand.

Overall, if you have the RTGs and like them, I don't see enough difference the the Vokeys to change.

I enjoy these wedges, not as hard faced as the Vokey chromes and not so soft that you need to replace them every week. These clubs rust super-fast, but nice and evenly. Buy the club with the right amount of bounce (and get it set up) for you and you will not be dissapointed.

This club is just the most pathetic wedge I have ever used! It's so soft that you can not even feel when you hit it, and it dents when you hit a nice, solid shot. If you hit at all off center, you might as well pick up for the hole, because this club will punish you severley. This club, even if you hit it right, will not go farther than 80 yards. I strongly advise you to never lay your hands on this, as this is an expensive piece of rotten schit...

Customer Service

After the dent, I called in to the supposed 800 number and asked what they could do. They asked if I could hold... I did and I was listening to bad music for 30 minutes, when I finally got off, I was thrown into a fully automated service, of which my problem was not listed. Upon talking to a real person, they said nothing was to be done, as they could not verify the problem. Later that month the call showed on my phone bill as a $23.00 charge. Needless to say, I am not using that club anymore!

This is one awsome club I got there. From the first day on I had a brilliant feel for pitches and chips. Works very nice from rough and fairway. Nice crispy feeling in impact makes you feel to have more control, good weight. Once it rusts a litte it looks much better than the clevelands plus the clubhead looks much nicer from the top but that is just my opinion. Spins very nice on normal pitches, you can suck it back with punches or use dead arm movement for drop and stop. The only thing that did not work as well as my old Tom Watson RAM is bunker shots. It just seemed as if the sole would not let you dig in the sand as good. but this might also have been the sand. Over all I would highly reccomend this club for all lower hcps. thus for all golfers who have some feel for the ball and know how to work with greens and spin. otherwise this nice club could get too many of these crappy reviews of green horns...

This club is the best feeling wedge out there! I'm not sure what all these people saying the the feel is a little crisp are talking about. Upon impact, it is the softest club I have in my bag, including my Scotty Cameron! The spin factor is incredible. I do not pride myself on spin, and I previously had not been able to stop it and get some check on it, but now that I got the Vokey, I can have utmost confidence that If I accidentally hit it past the hole, it will not go farther, or maybe even it will come back towards the hole. The club is a little heavy at first, but this is an advantage. All you have to do is swing easy, and try to concentrate on your tempo. I have a Trusty Rusty as my pitching wedge (due to its lack of bounce) and this 56/12 as my sand wedge due to its impeccable bounce and feel. This combination is unbeatable, and I give it the best club ever award!

This is the first club I have bought on looks and reviews. Took it to the range and shanked evry time. Went home and compared it to my odysseey & then realised this club was 1 inch longer. This is a TOP wedge, looks excellent, feels great either around the green or from 70 yds. If your going to buy one, Check the length of shaft, the degree of bounce and try it on the range first. I feel this club would give more benefit to low and scratch handicappers. TOP Product though.

I recently bought a set of titleist DCI 990s and after playing with them for a couple of rounds I decided to buy the vokey sand wedge to complete my set.I bought the sand wedge and took it to the practice green and for a round at my course. At first it was unreliable as I was swinging to hard and fast but then I slowed my swing down and wow, the ball pitched onto the green and spun back to the hole.I really like these wedges because of the amazing amount of spin the create.I am purchasing the lob wedge next week to complete the set.

That steve sampson guy a couple reviews down I think may be smudging his level of play from a 90 to a 70. Hey man they never said the club does all the work for ya.No club does. This is a excellent heavy club. Which if ya know anything about golf is actually good not bad! A heavy club doesnt need to be swung as hard and therefor is easier to keep the club controlled. Unlike where people tend to think a lighter club is better because they think they can swing harder and hit it further....but i'm sorry to say that is way wrong. That will just pop the ball up...and make you have horrible control of the club!!!
