I got the wedge for free when I was at work a few months ago. The guy said it was the worst wedge he ever had and said he didn't want it. Being a Titleist, I had to at least try it. I was in need of a new 60 degree anyway :) This wedge is probably as good as it gets. Easy to control distance on full shots and chips. I can hit a flop shot pretty easily with it as well. If I knew how good the wedge was, I probably would have paid the $100 for it.

Well this club takes some getting used to....getting used to tons of spin, being near the pin, and great feel the only downside is that if you used soft covered balls it will tear them up a little

Honestly the best of the best! More spin than any cleveland. Feels solid but not overly soft. I prefer it this way as it gives great feedback before your ball lands. Any shot type, (for pitch , chip, bunker or full) you will notice that these wedges will provide the best feel and consistency. Have problems with your distance control on chips and pitches? What about inconsistent spin? I'm telling ya, spend an hour with these wedges on the range and turf and you will judge your distances better than before!

Was looking for SW for my second set of clubs, already have the 256.12 & 252.08 in chrome - and have absolutely no complaints. Originally looking for the Oil Can version, but store owner said he had a slight used (and completely rusted) 256.12 raw @ only US$25 - what a deal. Significantly softer than the chrome version with much better feel. Naturally the rust srcaped off only after a few shots but didn't notice that much difference. I have a pretty shallow approach, therefore the 12* bounce is just right. Still looking for another approach 52* wedge. More than likely the Oil can version.

After using Cleveland RTG wedges for the last 3 seasons I decided to switch to Vokey's. This review, by the way is for the new Oil Can model which is replacing the Raw line. I chose the 52/56/60 degree. I purchased the new Titleist 690CB forged irons and was so impressed I demoed the Vokeys right away. The Vokeys gave a great soft feel compared to the RTG's and I found that the with the RTG's I would get the odd shot that would balloon on me. The Vokeys gave better feel and a better ball flight. Before purchasing, I tried the Cleveland 900 series as well as the Nike forged wedges just to compare. They are both quality clubs but I found the Vokeys just felt and looked the best. My price shown is in Canadian dollars after trade in. I highly recommend these wedges for any serious golfer with a handicap of around 14 or less.

SPIN BALL, unbelievable spin from most lies. I own both the 52*, 60*, and 56* models all raw. I use them for a variety of tasks and they perform beautifully

Such a great club! As the praised beautiful satin finish goes over to the "rust" finish with some weeks, the spin is a lot higher than with any other wedge i knew before! Great feel, great spin, exactly what I need for playing high (or even low, but then with a lot of spin) pitches to the green. All in all, even the price I paid was okay...

I came away very impressed with this wedge. It has a bounce that is perfect for bunkers, yet will not get in the way when attempting a 'flop shot'. The rust that will produce over time produces unmatched feel and spin.
