Bought a new set of irons, Ben Hogan Apex Plus from my local golf shop. Sold my old Cleveland FF TA-3''s, and included my Cleveland sand wedge in the deal. Demo''d the Vokey, Hogan and Cleveland SW''s, when one of the sales guys mentioned that he had a set of Mizuno''s that he was going to sell to switch to Vokey''s. While I wasn''t looking for a 60*, I was going to add a gap. Given the $150 price for all 3 wedges, why not? I can report after hitting these wedges, there is not doubt in my mind that they perform at least as well as my old Cleveland did. The added bonus is the feel that the clevelands just can''t match. I also am more in tune with the lower bounces in this set. In short, they look great, perform great and feel better than anything else I tried. |

Great wedge! SOFT and SMOOTH. I really like the feel of this forged wedge. I has a dead solid perfect feel and also produces a nice solid crack sound as well. Well balanced club slight on the heavy side which is one of the reason I bought it. I prefer a heavy wedge. I like it for sand and tall grass. I read in one of the golf magazines the reason this looks so much like a Cleveland wedge is that one of the Cleveland designers left and went to Mizuno. Customer Service Have not had a need to use. None WOW! That best describes these wedges. I am a tried and true believer in Cleveland wedges - still have the BeCu 56 in my bag. But let me tell you, these are awesome wedges. Classic shape - same size as the Cleveland 588''s, in general lower bounce - which suits my game, and the feel - you have heard the phrase "like a hot knife through butter" well that is a fit description. Demoed them at the range with the hard "Rock Flite" range balls and they even felt workable. Give them a try - they felt better to me than any Cleveland, Hogan or Vokey. They are heavy wedges (which I like), they stop on a dime and they are very good looking - installs confidence - which is a MUST for any club, especially a wedge. I think I may be looking for a replacement for my 56 BeCu Cleveland real soon. Similar Products Used: Cleveland, Vokey |

None This wedge can do it all for me. I love the soft feel, even better than the Hogan 6004 I used to own. After getting used to this wedge (only took a round or two), it''s a little too easy for me to gauge distances now! Have tried 900''s & Vokeys, but you know the saying-if it ain''t broke then don''t fix it! Similar Products Used: None |
