Cleveland 588 RTG 60*
Top notch wedge. With 3* of bounce in this 60* you can hit it anywhere off of anything! Deadly accurate from 75-80 and in. I still haven't mastered the touch shot out of a bunker to a tight pin but that's not because of the wedge. I'm giving a 3* rating for Value because they ain't cheap! Great wedges. Excellent from anywhere, the feel and feedback, control is good. Easily bent, ground for customization (I have a 56 bent to 58 with wide flange). DG shafts are a good standard, excellent for control on full swings in the fairway. |

588 rtg 60*
The 60* rtg is a great wedge to have in your bag. I can't beleive how many times i've holed one with this club. It took me some time to get used to this club, but once I did I'm lost without it. Great spin and amazing feel. I'm not sure if the rust gives more spin. I think it is more aesthetics than performance. Anyway, it looks great. I've tried the vokey wedges and they are great too. I chose the rtg b/c of the aesthetics. Similar Products Used: titleist vokey |

56 and 60 degree
Just bought these wedges and absolutely love them. They spin the ball well, and the feel around the greens is excellent. The 56 degree works great out of fluffy sand and high rough, while the 60 degree is great from tight lies or hardpacked sand. I think they are a good value as well -- paid less than $65 each using a recent promotion by Buy.com. Customer Service none Similar Products Used: Hogan Radial wedges |

Cleveland 588 RTG Wedge
How much do I like this club? Well, I have all but worn the "Cleveland" stamping off of the sole!!! I went from a "special grind" forged Wilson SW and the Mizuno SW to the Cleveland 56* model and haven't looked back since. One shot that I couldn't get out of the other wedges was the flop shot. Now, with the RTG, the array of possiblities is wide open. It does EVERYTHING that I ask it to do with NO suprises. As soon as I wear the grooves down to nothing on this wedge, I will buy another 588 RTG. Similar Products Used: Vokey, Mizuno, Wilson, Hogan BeCu, you name it!!! |

RTG 52 and 58 degree
These wedges are the clubs for me around the greens. Very true and easy to swing. I like the look of the RTG and can work them quite well. The 58 degree is my greenside bunker club of choice I has very little bounce so works very well around the greens as well. These won't give you a hot spring back chip like cavity backs will. Very accurate. Similar Products Used: Callaway Tour Series wedges. |

Has helped my short game immensely. Great for those "touch shots" within 50 yards. Takes the fear out of the sand. A must for your bag. Similar Products Used: MacGregor wedges |

Cleveland 588 GunMetal 56 drgree
The company claims that the gunmetal is a softer metal than steel that will wear and rust over time, increasing both the feel and spin benefits of the club. While I haven't had the club long enought to comment on the rusting aspect, mine has started to wear. It isn't a negative at all either. The dark coating gives way to a dark metal with a dull shine beneath, pretty cool actually. As far as the gunmetal itself, I have to agree with the company's claims. The feel is noticeably softer than my chrome gap wedge and it seems to spin a bit more than my previous 56 degree sand wedge. If you presently play an RTG, I wouldn't necessarily recommend a change. The eventual performance benefits, once the club rusts, may be minimal. However, if you currently play a chromed wedge and would like some extra feel in a softer metal along with the added increased spin benefits of the eventual rusting, check this wedge out. Whew, run-on sentence! Overall, a very nice wedge with terrific feel and performance and one I would recommend to all. Similar Products Used: Plenty |
